Any how I don’t own inuyasha enjoy the chapter ___________________________________________________________ _____ It was the crack of dawn and inuyasha was hastily cleaning up camp all while taking a drag from a cigarette made from scraps of tobacco and sand rolled with a leaves. When shippo finally woke up and became aware of his surroundings a frantic inuyasha began speaking “shippo how long can you stay small?” shippo responded quickly deciding he would ask questions later “as long as I want”. “great now we might actually have a chance” inuyasha said slightly relieved. Shippo was now completely clueless “what are you talking about?” I’ll explain while were moving now jump one my shoulder and hold on”. __________________________________________________ ______________ after the battle ah-un had carried them deep into a forest untouched by the taint of nuclear fallout. Now sessomaru sat against the trunk of a tree shirtless a gaping wound on his chest. Rin and jaken did not seem the least bit worried about his state and continued with there routines. “this sessomaru will not be detoured for long inuyasha use your time wisely”. sessomaru then fell silent and let him self be consumed with thoughts. This wound the filthy half breed gave me will leave me incapable for a short time he has punctured my lung and it has sapped me of my strength. But this sessomaru knows were you are traveling half brother and when I finally kill you I can take the my place as lord of the western lands. Sessomaru then closed his eyes relaxed his posture and slept. Rin was washing the blood out of sessomaru’s shirt from a near by stream jaken at her side still angry with shippo’s trickery. “damn that fox how dare he deceive me a real demon would stand it’s ground and fight with no tricks or schemes” jaken said pride in his voice. “Lord sessomaru once told me it takes cunning to win a battle not tell tale honor and stubbornness” rin retorted. Jaken did not reply and mumbled something about the whole world being against him. jaken’s eyes light up in realization and said “you are defending the fox aren’t you I can believe you would take the side of the enemy …” rin was no longer listening and completely ignored jaken’s old and repetitive complaints about lack of honor and began to think to her self. Next time I meet shippo lord sessomaru might make me fight him I don’t want to hurt him he didn’t do any wrong but if that is sessomaru’s wish…. __________________________________________ ______________________ “are you gonna tell me what’s going on now” shippo complained. “if I tell you will you shut the hell up?” inuyasha questioned. “yeah sure whatever now hurry up” shippo said impatiently. “sessomaru knows were I’m going and he also knows that I can’t go any were else” inuyasha said. Before shippo could ask his question inuyasha continued “my arm is damaged and if I don’t get it fixed soon it could do some permanent damage and sessomaru knows it so we gotta get to town get me temporary tune up and kick sessomaru’s ass all in one day”. shippo remained silent and was consumed in thought. … well at least I get to see rin again and if I live I could write about it in my log who am I kidding I’m screwed. By high noon they reached a crowded city filled with human and demon criminals alike most carrying shanks ,switchblades and the occasional poorly maintained fire arm. Inuyasha sped past them ignoring all the death threats and glares. Inuyasha burst into a building covered in graffiti inside were rows upon rows of fire arms some in glass cases others held on rack a song by a ‘jimmy Hendricks’ looped over and over again the damaged audio made the guitar sound like it was being played from inside box the voice skipping occasionally. An elderly man wearing a tattered orange jump suit that read cook county prison on the back the old man had a rouge gray goatee and balding hair his eyes bulged from his sockets. “I’m totosai how can I he-” his words were interrupted when he saw inuyasha standing there a hole in his arm looking very nervous. totosai instantly dragged inuyasha to a table with metallic straps and secured him in place. Inuyasha said hurriedly “sessomaru following - fix quick - no time - give that kid something to shoot with hell need it” inuyasha said all this out of breath and totosai instantly went to work all while talking to shippo “pick something make sure you can fire it and take the right ammunition for the thing if you don’t know what to pick look through the big brown book chained to the desk” with that said he went to work. Shippo hurriedly ran around the store looking for something anything to use for some odd reason none of them felt right to him. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a black box under the desk he opened it to find a revolver it’s smooth surface and blood red handle enticed him the box also held a worn leather holster a fox engraved into the leather shippo knew at that moment this was the only gun he would feel right firing. Like totosai instructed he look through the brown book to find the type of ammunition it used the name of the weapon was printed on the box he found it in it was called the uberti there were several different models but they all took a 45 caliber bullet from there shippo took a box labeled the correct type of ammunition another box caught his eye his took the box praying it would work. He only had time to fill his revolver with the regular bullets and slip three of the other kind into the holster spaces he quickly strapped on the belt placed the gun in and took another look at the fox engraved in the holster a feeling of calm washed over him again as he exited the shop just in time to see a green lizard landing at the entrance of town. ________________________________________________________ ________ shippo ran as fast as he could to the entrance not wanting to give sessomaru any space to advance. Sessomaru walked into town his trench coat once again discarded his pace slow and relaxed. Shippo stopped about five meters away from him but his demon hearing still picked up his quiet orders “jaken stay with ah-un rin stay at my side and be ready”. shippo clutched the handle of his weapon his whole body shook with fear but his mind was clear.without warning sessomaru lashed out not even drawing his weapon his right arm clutching his throat all this happened in a blink of an eye before sessomaru could snap his neck shippo fired three bullets into sessomaru’s abodomen his grip slackend enough for shippo to get out of his grip but his left hand swooped up and tore across his chest.shippo scurried away his chest aching an uncontrollable burning sensation tore through him but adreneline and the need to survive dulled the pain and shakily got to his feet. “rin finish the fox I mustn’t waste my time” sessomaru commanded. Rin stepped forward here 45 colt drawn shippo quickly emptied his gun and placed the new bullets in. shippo raised his weapon his eyes cold without hesitation he fire all three bullets at her at the same time rin fired two. Rin was shot in the leg,and chest she fell to the ground unmoving shippo was hit in shoulder and left arm.shippo’s adrenilene ran down he began to feel his injuries pain flooded through him he wanted to cry, he wanted to vomit ,the burning in his chest, the sharp spasms of pain from the bullet wounds. Before he drifted into unconsciousness he saw a claw come down on him and a metal staff snap in front of the claw then shippo saw no more. ____________________________________________________________ ____ The man holding the metal staff had a grin on is face his eyes were a shade of purple and his hair tied back. The man’s apperal consisted of dark purple pants tailored out of a thick material , worn brown combat boots with a steel toe and a white lab coat the back looked like it was shot point blank with a shotgun. “sir will you please reconsider this senseless act of violence I would appreciate it” the man said in a mock tone. “this sessomaru must claim revenge now away with you”.sessomaru swung at the man upon contact sessomaru was sent flying as if he was electrocuted the man smirked but it soon faded as a painful stab ran up his spine and fell unconscious . _______________________________________________________ _________ inuyasha sat up the his arm felt like it was on fire but atleast he knew it wouldn’t kill him later. Inuyasha ran out of the gun shop his trench coat and shirt forgotten he drew the tetsaiga in mid run when he reached his destanation he found sessomaru covered in super ficail wounds that angered him to no end inuyasha saw his chance and fired it hit sessomaru in the left arm sessomaru turned to inuyasha his fangs were growing his voice rough eyes blood red. Inuyasha braced him self for the attack his tetsaiga was knocked out of his hand inuyasha had difficulty fighting with one hand but with sessomaru so angry his attacks became sloppy sessomaru was losing energy and his temper was rising unexpectedly a green smog surrounded the area and all inuyasha heard was a nasal voice “ah-un get lord sessomaru and rin hurry now! And within a few moments they were gone inuyasha retrieved his tetsaiga and picked shippo up than inuyasha finaly grabbed the mysterious man and dragged them all back to tootsie’s shop _______________________________________________________ _________ I’m not very satisfied with this chapter the next one will be ready when its ready
