Break from fighting

prologue

It was a peaceful spring day, so the group decided to take a little break from hunting Naraku, Kagome was going to take them to her time, to meet her family who had only met Inuyasha. They were just about to enter the well, when Inuyasha remembered something that him swear to himself, he quickly pulled aside Kagome and said to her,
"I just remembered something important that I have to do, I can't go with you". "What?" asked Kagome, "why?" "er.. because I,I,I,...I have to kill Naraku" he stammered.

Kagome felt herself getting a little angry, why does Inuyasha have to lie to me? "today, you don't" she replied "you're coming with us, and if I hear another lame excuse to avoid seeing my family, I'll s-i-t you 10 times" Inuyasha winced at that, and meekly followed Kagome into the well, all the while, praying in his head that this would work out.
