InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Broken hearts need attention too.... ❯ Early morning blues ( Prologue )
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
Hey everyone.
I'm attempting to write another story.
This one's kind of close to the heart so I'd appreciate no flaming.
Intro:
This is a story for the broken hearts of the world. For the people who lost everything and gained nothing. This story is true to my heart and I wish to share it to you all. This is the story of a girl and a boy and the loss that was once their love.
Opening my eyes I saw a black nose poking at my own and two large bulb-like eyes staring into my own. It took me a few seconds for the after effects of sleep to wear off and for me to realize it was only Buyo, my cat, waking me up. His irritating behavior and undeniable stupidity sometimes amazed me.
Pushing the fat cat off my torso I flung my feet onto the ground and stood up. My legs wobbled a bit due to the sudden shift of weight to my feet but they soon adjusted and I continued on to go down the long steps to my kitchen.
My gloomy eyes then met with the cheery face of my mother making pancakes. She was always cheery. I don't get how people could be so happy and perky at 6:30 am.
“How are you doing, dearest? You look kind of under the weather,” She asked, flipping another pancake as she did so letting it sizzle under the weight of the spatula.
“No mom, I'm fine. It's just the morning blue's ya' know?” I replied as she set a plate and some silver wear in front of my face, which was currently resting on the table.
I could imagine why she asked that question. I must look pathetic right now.
“Hey mom?” I asked poking at the pancake she had set on the plate in front of me.
“Yes?” she replied.
“Well, if it's not too much trouble could I possibly hang out around town for a little while after school?”
Her face scrunched up a bit as I finished the sentence. She hates me going into town. She says that there are too many incidents of children getting kidnapped in our area, especially in the middle of town.
Town was like a big hangout area for the kids in my school. I don't know why however. It really is kind of worn down if I do say so myself.
“Fine. As long as your home before dark,” she sighed out and resumed her cheery state.
“Thanks mom,” I said and kissed her on the cheek.
I'll write the rest soon.
I'm just too tired right now.
Oh and if your wondering, yes this is a true story so as I said, no flaming.
