~Chapter Three ~
THE ROOMATE
Rin was shocked. She didn't think she would find a boy in HER room.
"Who…who are you!!??"
The boy turned his head to her and just frowned.
"Feh!! Is that a greeting?!" His golden eyes stared at her furiously.
"Ah…Gomen… But, what are you doing in MY room!?" Rin began enraged to hear those words from HIM. She supposed this room was HER OWN!
Golden eyes twitched and answered her, "YOUR room!? As you can see … I've lived in THIS room since a year ago … and you call it, YOUR room!??"
"Don't tell me … you're MY roommate!?!?" Rin asked unbelieving to the situation.
She knew that she would be living in a room in the Furinkan High School. But, she didn't expect that she would have to live TOGETHER with a BOY! Her father didn't tell her about this…!!
She definitely HAD to speak with DAD!! *And kill him too…*
She immediately regained her composure; Rin smiled and stuck her hand out, "I'm sorry for my rudeness… My name is Nakamura R. Kohaku… I just move to this school… "
She didn't know when she started using her brother's name, but people around her just started calling her 'Kohaku'. The only one who called her her 'true' name was… just her Dad.
It's looked as if … she was vanished from people's mind. That she was dead, not Kohaku…
The boy in front of her grinned and returned her hand, "I'm Masaharu Inuyasha…. Sorry 'bout that… Call me Inuyasha. The office had told me about you before…"
Rin grinned back. This Inuyasha didn't look like a bad guy. Maybe she could build a close friendship with him.
"You can call me Kohaku too… Inuyasha" Call me Kohaku…
InuYasha let go of her hand and looked behind him, "I think you want to unpack your things? I can help you if you want, Kohaku?"
Rin turned her head to look behind Inuyasha and saw her things there. She wanted to unpack, but her boxes contained …. Ummm … girl things if you could call them that. She had to unpack them later, when Inuyasha was gone…
"No, thanks! I'm a bit tired from the trip to this school. I want to rest first..." Rin eyed the two beds,which were beside each other, with a little table separating them.
Inuyasha just shrugged his shoulders and sat back on the sofa, "Do as you like, tomorrow is Saturday…but too bad I have to go to the Judo club, I guess I can't help you to unpack your things after all…."
Rin smiled taking a seat beside Inuyasha and shook her head. Lucky! It's a chance! So she can unpack her things freely!!
"Don't worry… I can do it myself… Well… you said that you went to Judo Club… is it an extracurricular?" Rin knew that the Furinkan High School was famous, not only in its grade, but its extracurricular too.
Since she was little, Rin liked to draw mangas. She was always making funny mangas and giving them to her father to be seen. Her father always laughed as he read it. She had given them to her brother too… before the incident. In the previous high school, she was in a manga club, where she could make many of them for fun. Now… she wants to try it again…
Inuyasha nodded, "If you're interested with certain non-school activities, you can go to their place and register…"
"Is there a manga club here?"
Inuyasha grinned and tapped Rin's shoulder, "Yes of course there is!! Do you want to go there? I can take you…"
Rin grinned and nodded, "Thanks! But maybe later… I want to rest … and… where is my bed?"
Rin glanced at the two beds near them. It lied at the corner of the room. The room wasn't small. There were a refrigerator, two wardrobes, one big sofa, a television, two desks, a little dining table, and a bathroom. The room was just … plain… and a bit messy…
It was a boy's room after all… She would have to be careful where she put her 'things'…
She had to phone HER DAD immediately also… But now, she just wanted to rest… Her body was tired after all…
"Oh… the right one is mine, yours is the left one…" Inuyasha pointed at the left bed.
Rin nodded and immediately get onto the bed. She was too tired to change her clothes. After all, she hadn't unpacked her things yet…
"I want to go to my friend's place. You don't mind if I leave you alone, do you?" Inuyasha was picking his jacket up off the floor and getting ready to go.
Rin didn't hear him. She was already a sleep.

Sesshomaru sat on his chair. This meeting was beginning to bore him. They were just discussing the marketing of their electronic products, and the meeting was going well. But…the people who were surrounding him seemed like they were just bickering against one another now.
And this Kagura woman that came…
She was just flirting and trying to get near him…
Disgusting…
"Sesshomaru-san… Could you examine this product?" Kagura smiled seductively at him as she handed him a file. Politely, Sesshomaru accepted it and read through it. It was a good report.
But Sesshomaru knew better. This Kagura woman, she was sitting near him on purpose.
"It's good… Thank you…" He said and returned it to her.
Sesshomaru glanced at the meeting. It could work fine without him as the vice-president. So, politely he stood and excused himself from the room.
"I'm sorry… but I have important matters to attend to… And I see this meeting can work perfectly fine without me… Please excuse me…" And he left.
Leaving the furious Kagura and bickering meeting behind him.

Beep…beep…
And who was it now?
He was just walking out from the meeting room and his cell phone was ringing already.
Well… he did forget to turn off his cell phone. It was lucky for him that the cell hadn't been ringing in the important meeting before.
He picked it up, "Yes…This is Masaharu…"
"Sesshomaru?This is father…"
Oh yes… his father, Masaharu, Inutaisho … He was the President in Masaharu Co.
What does he want? Surely, he didn't just phone me for chit chat, did he?
"I see you're fine … Sesshomaru… I want to ask you to do something for me…"
Oh yes… what does he want to ask me?
"Yes Father… What is it?"
"Your uncle, Ogata … he wants you to help him with something…." His father's voice sounded just like him; cold, stiff, and with authority.
Uncle Ogata? Masaharu Ogata, little brother of his father, Inutaisho. He heard that his uncle was a Director from a Private High School… what its name? Oh yes … Furinkan High School…
Why his uncle needed his help? He wasn't sure …
"And what can I do for him, father?" He hoped that it wasn't a heavy request for him. His task as the Vice-President had his hands full already.
"He said that one of his history teachers was in a car accident and must be hospitalized for a month… And the other history teacher couldn't handle all of classes alone…"
Sesshomaru wasn't a fool. He was sure that his uncle knew about his great score in the Tokyo University, but, too bad that his job in the corporation was full.
"I apologize…. But I don't have time for that Father…"
His father sighed from the other line, "I have considered it already, Sesshomaru… I think you need to relax for a moment from the job as Vice-President… and I'll give you a month on vacation… You need a change in the job atmosphere… and this is a good chance for that… Do you understand Sesshomaru?"
Relax? Job atmosphere? Maybe it was good for him…
"Thank you Father… I'll accept this furlough …"
