~~Chapter One~~

"Urgh! I don't want to go to some fucking school trip to some fucking shrine, Kari! This is so stupid!" A teenaged girl yelled to another. The girl had dark brown hair and dark purple eyes. The other had blond hair and blue eyes. They were sitting on a bus which was heading towards the only shrine left in the city and it belongs to the Higurashis.

"Calm down, Rebecca. At least we get out of school, right?" The blonde tried to calm down the brunette. Rebecca sighed and nodded.

"Yeah, I guess you're right, Kari. But isn't this shrine belonging to that one family with that girl who is always sick?" Rebecca asked and Kari nodded.

"Yeah, I think so. Hey, Look! We're here!"

"Come on, Inuyasha! I promised my mom that I and Sango would help out at the shrine today!" Kagome told him. The gang was standing beside the well.

"Feh! Then I'm coming too."

"Hey, Kari, look behind you." Rebecca told her. She and Kari were at the gift shop beside the shrine. Kari nodded and looked behind her. Kagome, Sango, and Inuyasha were standing underneath the god tree in front of the shrine.

"Those three have jewel shards plus that boy is an inu hanyou and that girl in the uniform knows that I have jewel shards as well." Rebecca told Kari as she picked up a jewel that was supposed to look like the Shikon Jewel. Kari looked back at Rebecca.

"Go back to school with the rest; I am going to talk to them." Rebecca told her. Kari nodded as they both bought a fake Shikon Jewel.

"Students of Rôjû Martial Arts School, please board the buses. We will be leaving shortly." A teacher said. All of the students left except for Rebecca. The only one left at the shrine were Rebecca, Inuyasha, Kagome, and Sango. Rebecca sighed and then walked up to the three.

"Hi, let's make this simple. You have Shikon shards and I have Shikon shards. Now to the introductions."
