Brotherly Love
Inuyasha.....
The bain of my existence. A lowly halfbreed who is a stain to the families honor.
I could kill that disgusting waste of flesh at any given time. Instead I amuse myself with toying with him.
He's only beaten me once. A fluke. It will never happen again.
I've only feared him once. But only as one fears a rabid animal. Then I gained knowledge. That pathetic excuse of a halfbreed is to weak to handle the blood passed on to him by our mighty father.
In order to keep his sword, he needs to depend on the help of other humans. Dirty, disgusting filth. If they were not beneath my notice, i would kill them with a flick of my wrist.
He is beneath my notice. And one day I will kill him. When he is worthy of me.
After all I am Killing Perfection .
Or at least that is what I allow everyone to believe.
The Truth.
Ahh, the truth. I keep it hidden from everyone. And is totally different.
In truth, I am proud to call that halfbreed my brother.
I battle with him, only because it will make him stronger to face what life throws his way.
I teach him, through my actions, what he needs to know in order to survive, in a world that hates him for what he is.
He almost killed me once. And I think him everyday for it. In attempting to kill me, he gave me my most precious treasure.....
Rin.
In return, I saved from certain death, the Miko who loves him unconditionally. And watched from the shadows as his friends defeated the poison that would kill them all. Tenseiga ready to bring them back if the need arose.
His friends I respect. For I know that they are honorable. They protect and love each other no matter what. And do what they can to protect those who cannot protect
themselves. The child I call my daughter included.
If a day comes when the choice needs to be made. My life or his. I will watch over him from beside our father. Content with the knowledge that he is safe.
And though it will never show to the outside world. I do love my little brother.
But you'll never prove it...
