Chapter 1
Just Another Manic Monday

Ah Monday. The most horrid of all the days of the week. In her opinion, the world should have long outlawed Mondays by now. Though, the world was never good at reducing what was bad for you. Take a look at the cigarette sales--through the roof these days. And the industries? Only getting bigger.

Kagome wasn't quite sure if she could stomach the thought of her Monday's getting any bigger. Bigger only meant longer and longer meant more things to do. Hell, she had more to do in one twenty-four hour period than most girls her age would accomplish in a week.

Turns out her first grade teacher was right; overachieving never got you anywhere accept a one way ticket to the loony bin.

To tie into the scheme of things she had already received her English report back with a huge "D" across the title page, some homeless guy had tripped her and ran off with her tiny purse that held her money, and while placing her books and purse down to search for her bus pass her cell phone had disappeared and all of her belongings had toppled into the mud.

"Just twelve more hours, Kagome" she mumbled to herself. Her heels clicked against the pavement and disappeared amongst the other mummer of cars and shoes in the crowded street. Her arms shifted uncomfortably under the pressure of her school books, now stained in brown "Twelve more hours and you can be in your bed, wrapped in your comforter with a bowl of Lindt chocolates"

Her mouth watered at the thought as she approached a building addressed 1848 and stopped to look up at the enormous metal structure. Daydreams would have to wait for her out here, especially now a days. Once she stepped into the office and was chained to the polished desk in front of the giant oak doors on the twentieth floor, there would be no time for free thought. Especially since she had to do the majority of thinking for both herself and her boss.

Kagome sighed, turned around and used her back to push herself through the entrance doors.

"No use prolonging...."

The silence on the first floor was only killed by her heels as Kagome made her way across the black and white checkered tiles of the main room. In front of her a girl with brilliant red hair looked up and smiled warmly at her.

"Afternoon, Kagome" The welcoming smile soon turned into a frown once the girl gave Kagome a once over "Gods! What happened to you?! You look like you've been rolling around in--"

"Mud?" Kagome replied wearily "Yes, I've dealt with a lot of dirt within the past few hours. It's somehow attracted to me these days....You'd think I have a huge sign above me that says "Target Practice."

The red head made a sound of concern before rising from her chair "You need any help getting upstairs?"

The phone rang.

"You're tied up as well" Kagome said with a slight head shake "I don't want to pull you down with me, Ayame"

"Sure?"

"Positive" She adjusted the load in her hands, searching for the ID card she had stored in her jacket pocket early "If I'm still alive by tomorrow, are you and Sango still coming to visit me at Pirate Pete's?"

Ayame sat back down with an eyebrow raise "I thought it was called Natalie's?"

"It was" Kagome sighed, pulling out an ID tag "Until management decided none of us were worth the time of day to them. They sold out and now we're owned by some man named Koga who has yet to grace us with his appearance"

"Are you still an Italian place?"

"Heh" Kagome laughed sadly "You're now looking at the proud waitress to a burger joint"

"Oh dear"

"And it gets better" Kagome continued with fake joy as she pressed her back against the elevators up button "For you guys anyways. We get to wear the most "booty-full" outfits around"

Ayame looked disturbed "Short skirts?"

"Not that booty" Kagome sighed as the elevator doors opened with a ding "If I don't survive, tell Sango I was the one who ripped her formal dress"

The elevator doors shut.

Ten seconds, nineteen floors, and one deep breath later the door opened again. Wearily she led herself past the smaller desks on the floor, ignoring the stares and whispers she received from her state. As she passed some questioned her, but she walked past them mumbling about Monday mornings.

She was good friends with everyone on the floor, unlike a certain boss, so they knew her Monday's to be nothing short of horrible but they still made sure she was alright despite it. Plus, when a girl comes in with mud stains, questions come up.

One particular man followed her to her desk, his strides up beat to match the boyish smile drawn across his face "Wow, Kaggie. I haven't seen you look this warped since the Oden Restaurant closed down"

Kagome made a disgruntled sound "My life--" instead of piling her books carefully on the designated corner of her desk like she usually did; she made the dirty articles topple to the carpet "Sucks!"

The man smiled, leaning on the edge of her desk as she collapsed into her chair "Come on now. Being here, seeing my lovely face, you must feel a tad bit better"

"Wow. It's amazing but your face actually does nothing for me"

He smiled "Hiding your desires is useless"

"I think you miss-read what my desire is concerning you, Miroku" Kagome smiled warmly as he chuckled "You have an appointment with his Highness, I presume?"

Miroku held out a note "So I've been told"

She took the note before turning to her computer "It must be urgent. I don't remember scheduling you. I usually like preparing myself before your arrival"

"You flatter me"

"And you annoy me" Kagome returned in monotone. After scanning the online calendar she sighed "Dog boy's been messing with the system. I told him not to touch it! But I suppose that's what I get for allowing him a laptop..." She rose from her chair and stepped around the desk, picking up mail from her inbox as she did "Wait here while I have a talk with him"

"In for a punishment is he?" Kagome looked up from her mail with an eyebrow raise "Is there going to be whips involved?"

Kagome shook her head at his wiggling eyebrows of suggestion "With that state of mind, it's a wonder you're still single"

With mail in hand, she opened the oak doors and granted herself access into the giant office of her boss.

"Yeah...? Yeah...? Well tell the little fucker that he can bitch all he wants but he ain't gettin' shit from me" Kagome shook her head, her eyes resting on the chair that's back was currently facing her. To say this man had a way with words would be a waste of breath "Until that ass hole comes and apologizes for the shit he put me through at Izayoi's funeral, I'm not speaking with him. We clear?"

The chair spun around revealing the face of annoyance she was usually blessed with during the day. Long silver hair was pushed aside as he reached across the desk, slamming his phone to the stand. Once seeing her, his eyes narrowed.

"You're late"

"And you're a jerk" she said wearily "But you don't hear me complaining"

He ignored the comment "You were supposed to be here at one o'clock, Kagome. It's now one thirty"

Kagome smiled, plopping into the leather chair that rested in front of the oak desk "And to think, I didn't believe you could read time"

"Reason?"

"Preparing myself for your wrath?"

The man snorted, leaning back into his seat. Kagome looked up briefly from the envelopes she was still occupied with and noticed he seemed to relax a bit. She smiled looking back to the numerous letters.

"Miroku's outside with a note saying that there is to be an appointment between the two of you today"

"Yeah?" He leaned further back in his chair looking up to the ceiling "He's here already? Damn, that's odd"

"Isn't it though?" she replied pleasantly "Especially considering that I didn't remember scheduling him for an appointment"

"Maybe you forgot"

Kagome nodded "That must be it. I mean, I have been forgetting a lot lately. I forgot my house keys this morning, the milk at the store, typing the presentation for Naraku--"

"What?!" He shifted forward in surprise, his face slowly turning angry "I need that fuckin' report for this afternoon!"

Kagome smiled. He was an easy one to pin.

She stood, mail in hand and walked over to his side before slapping him upside the head "Don't touch the calendar again, Inuyasha"

He rubbed his head "What the hell was that for?! I run this place! Who's to say I have no right to a fuckin' computer program?!"

"Me"

Inuyasha stood, looking down on her as they both crossed their arms. She was able to keep her eye contact in the first of many stare downs the afternoon was sure to provide her with, but after a few seconds his stare faltered. Instead he raised an eyebrow.

"You're covered in mud"

She gave him a look before raising her hands and clapping unenthusiastically "It only took you--what? Ten minutes? Hell, you can tell time, you tell me"

He frowned "You shouldn't come into work looking like that. People will think you're homeless or something. I don't need people assuming I hire street scum"

She backed away, looking down at herself "Mud? I can't believe you didn't hear! It's all the rage this season"

"Maybe in Iraq" he mumbled, looking her over with disgust "You come in late and you look like shit. Some assistant"

"Hello? Try putting two and two together!" Maybe I was late because of the mud?"

"What you do in your spare time is no concern of mine" he said sharply, walking over and taking the mail from her. He started for his desk, flipping through the mail casually "As my personal assistant you are expected to be here on time"

Kagome's face angered "You don't even care what happened do you?"

"Keh"

Her jaw clenched as she took a step forward, yanking the mail away from him.

"Hey!"

She just spun, heading towards the door "I'll send Miroku in"

His snobby little, jerk-headed acts were usually easy to deal with but after this morning all she wanted was a little bit of care. After all, she high tailed her hiney over her by foot for him when she could have just gone home. Some...some friend he turned out to be.

"Am I granted access?"

Kagome brushed passed him "I don't care"

Miroku frowned, watching as she sat behind the desk "That's rather unlike you"

"Well get used to it" she replied roughly, sending him a sharp glance "It's the office's theme of the day apparently"

+++

"There are only two reasons why he'd agree to a meeting now. To buy you out or to declare war" The two men entered the elevator and Miroku pressed the number 10 on the keypad "He already announced bringing his business here from Japan and has so subtly rubbed it in your face that he has more money than you'll ever see in your life--"

"Money isn't everything Miroku" Inuyasha interrupted hardly "We have customer loyalty"

"And that's exactly what he wants" Miroku continued "The question is are we to team up with him or fight him?"

"What the fuck do you think? My father never planned on having this business co-owned when he created it. It's a family name and that's how it's to remain"

The elevator stopped and the doors opened on the sixteenth floor as two men entered and stood in front of Inuyasha and Miroku. They each exchanged silent nods as the doors closed.

Miroku looked up to the numbers as they dropped further down. Inuyasha had told him previously to keep his mouth shut on business maters when others entered the elevator after a little slip of the gums during the whole Kagura fiasco last December.

Still, with the elevator speaker out so no music played, he hated the silence.

"What did you do to piss off Kagome?"

He snorted "She ain't pissed"

"That icy stare she gave you as we passed her desk said otherwise, my friend"

"If anyone should be pissed it's me" he said hardly "She's the one who came in late"

The elevator came to a stop on the tenth floor and the two men exited before the door closed again. Inuyasha took advantage of the extra room and shifted a bit. Though Miroku stood still, his eyes planted on the falling numbers.

"She looked like she went through hell" he continued "And I'm sure coming to work for you isn't the greatest thrill in the world"

"Keh"

Miroku watched as Inuyasha's face morphed from an arrogant expression into one that was virtually unreadable. Until Naraku's appearance and threats came his boss's way, Miroku was never really around. He was only able to talk with the young woman who played personal assistant whenever he was waiting to be admitted into Inuyasha's office, but the waiting period was long so the two did have there fair share of chats. That's why the girl was starting to make him wonder.

What was such a young, extremely attractive girl doing working for a hot-headed hanyou?

After a few moments of silence and two more floors he cleared his throat "So, is she single?"

The elevator dinged, the doors opened, and the light above them read 10.

"No"

+++

"Mr. Fort's office. This is Kagome speaking, how may I help you?"

"Awww! My little Kagome sounds all cute playing grown up at the office"

Kagome smiled at the familiar voice "I wish this was a game of make believe, Sango. My day's been nothing short of miserable. And to come here and have to put up with not only my own problems but Inuyasha's as well?"

"I honestly can't see how you put up with him"

"He has his good qualities"

"Like his butt?"

She grinned "It's hard to believe, but it's more than just a nice ass that keeps me here"

"You're right, I don't believe it" Sango replied casually. Kagome shook her head with a tiny giggle as she continued typing a document "You called?"

"Yeah. Where are you right now?"

"About a block away from you at the Starbucks working on that damned essay for Humanities. Why?"

"Do you still have that extra outfit you stashed in your trunk for that blind date?"

"First. I thought we agreed never to bring that up again?" Kagome giggled "But yeah, it's there"

"How'd you like to do me a little favor and swing by the office and let me borrow it for the day?" Kagome asked in the sweetest tone she could muster "The one that I'm wearing is...less than suitable for my position. Or so I've been told" She mumbled the last part with a bit of bitterness.

"For you? Anything. I'll be there in five minutes"

"I'll meet you downstairs" Kagome mentally sighed in relief "Thanks. I didn't know how much longer I could stand sitting here in mud without running to the bathroom and washing myself in the sink"

"Mud?" Sango's voice went up in question "Details when I get there"

"Promised"

With a loud enough sigh to catch the attention of a few of the closer desks, Kagome set the phone back on it's stand. Her headset was still missing in action since Thursday, and since she had been forced to use the phone manually, the once white receiver was now slightly brown from her muddy fingers.

Her eyes shifted to the oak doors that lead to an empty office. Inuyasha had gone to a meeting with Miroku so now was the perfect chance to get tidied up without a certain hanyou breathing fire down her neck.

Two hours of being covered in mud wasn't sitting well with her.

Grabbing her ID card, she made her way past the other desks and towards the elevator. Though as she pushed the keypad to get her back to the main floor someone called her name. The man from General Service Department, Kareshi, was standing at her desk and scratching his head.

She sighed. Whenever she wasn't at her desk they'd get confused or in Inuyasha's case mad. They made it out like she lived at that desk or something.

"Kareshi! Over here!" The man turned as she waved to him. He smiled, walking over.

"Kagome. There's a man on the phone for you"

She rolled her eyes "Tell him to leave me a voicemail; I have business to take care of first. And why the hell would he be on the general line?"

"Says it's the number you gave him" Kareshi shrugged "Could be some crackpot"

"What's the name?"

"Koga...?"

The elevator opened behind her but Kagome didn't notice "Koga? I wonder why he'd be calling"

"You want to speak with him then?"

The elevator shut behind her "Yeah. Transfer him to my desk will ya?"

"Sure thing"

Never before had one of her restaurant bosses called her on her other job. With her luck, the new manager was probably calling to inform her that there would be some staff changes and her job was now terminated.

Not bothering to settle herself behind her desk, Kagome only reached out for the muddy receiver "Kagome speaking"

"Hello Kagome! My name is Koga. As you know, Paul sold his place to me and I'll be the new owner/manager of the facilities"

"Yes, I've been informed"

"Good. Now, tomorrow I'm requesting all staff to come in at noon for a group meeting. I noticed on the charts you're down for two o'clock. Are you able to come in for the meeting?"

"Oh" Kagome bit her bottom lip. Tomorrow she had no morning class and that meant she'd be at Inuyasha's office. "Well, I'd have to check but I'll try my best to be available"

"You do that but don't over stress yourself on it, alright?"

Kagome couldn't help but smile at the sincerity "Alright"

"See you around Kagome"

"Bye"

Kareshi handed her a document labeled with Inuyasha's name as she hung up the phone "No crackpot I'm guessing"

She shook her head, looking over the envelope "No crackpot"

"In fact, by that smile I'd almost think he was your boyfriend"

Kagome shook her head "I wish"

Ignoring a knowing look from Kareshi, Kagome made her way back to the elevator and pressed on the keypad. It would be to her benefit to make it to this meeting and get a first good impression with her new boss, and yet...To get to this meeting she'd have to get through her other boss. She was able to get her way with him in some situations, but her leaving his presence early was not going to go over to well.

With the elevator music broke and no one to talk to Kagome had a silent ride down to the main floor. When the doors opened she saw Sango leaning against Ayame's desk. Both girls smiled and she smiled back. The phone rang and Ayame turned her attention to her work. Though once Sango looked at her friend more carefully she gasped.

"Good lord! What the hell happened to you?!"

"I had an unpleasant date with the dirt" she explained as she walked over "Some homeless man tripped me and made off with my money. I'm just lucky he didn't get away with my credit cards or ID. That would have been lovely"

Sango smiled sadly, as she handed over a bundle of cloth "There's more..."

"Do I look that run down that you can just tell?" Sango nodded "Well, I put my things down to get my bus pass, which by the way ran off with the homeless man, and ended up having my cell phone mugged off of me"

"Ouch. So some weirdo has access to all your numbers?"

"No. It was locked but still...." Kagome sighed, leaning her back against the desk "It wasn't my phone"

"Inuyasha's?"

"Well, he bought it for me" A thought came to her head that made her laugh "Actually, I feel sorry for the person who took it. Probably had Inuyasha calling them repeatedly since I was late. Maybe it is for the best."

"And you? Are you alright?"

"Fine, just worn" she explained "Monday's are a pain in the ass"

"And to think, it's barely finished" Ayame said sweetly. She held out the phone to Kagome who grimaced "Inuyasha's on line 1. He wants to know why his slave isn't upstairs in her chains"

+++

"I can't believe that bastard didn't show. We've had this meeting set up for a fuckin' week, he can't just not come"

"Well, my friend, that's exactly what he did" Miroku slouched back in the leather chair that faced Inuyasha's desk and rest his feet on top of the furniture "You think this means he's calling war?"

"I have no fuckin' clue what this means!" Inuyasha shouted angrily, pacing back and forth "I would ask my assistant but she seems to have run off to play tea party with the neighbors while I was away! God Damnit!"

"Calm down. That guy said she was up here talking with her boyfriend early. Maybe she went down to meet him" Miroku shook his head, relaxing his head into hands behind him "Don't take shit out on other people"

Inuyasha's eyebrow twitched "I'm not taking it out on her"

"I didn't say you were" he retorted. Inuyasha glared at him but Miroku raised his hands in surrender

After a silent stare down, Inuyasha turned his back on Miroku "Get out. There's no meeting here and I no longer need your assistance. Kagome will send you your check as usual"

Not one to argue an excuse to leave, Miroku shrugged and made his way out the door. Somehow, he knew he'd be here again anyways. If Naraku was any kind of business man, he'd be rescheduling before he made any further actions against the company.

When he exited, he noticed a raven haired girl calmly typing on her computer. For some reason the casual manner of which she held herself made him smile "Have fun playing tea party?"

Kagome smiled "Yes actually"

"He's a bit pissed, just to let you know"

"With good reason I'm sure" she remarked sarcastically "But fuming over nothing or not, he knows where to find me. Leaving?"

"Yep. Old Naraku bailed out on us. He didn't happen to call, did he?"

"Not a single one from him" she said "But I'll make contact with him and ring you on the matter later"

Miroku noticed for the first time that she had changed her clothes. She was no longer covered in mud and she seemed a bit happier. He knew that she was still in college from the pile of books that were usually stacked neatly on her desk but she didn't act so young.

"How old are you?"

"Not too young for you but old enough to file a law suit should you try that ass grab again" she replied sweetly

"So, 19?"

"Twenty actually"

"Ah, well your boyfriend is lucky to have you" he said honestly. With a wave he made his way towards the elevator "I'll see you around Kagome. Sooner than later I'm happy to say"

Kagome waved back but her face scrunched up in question "Boyfriend...?"

+++

Somehow she had made it. So many demanding, nothing going her way, hours later and she had made it through the Monday at long last. The rest of the week would just slide by now and she knew it--well--aside from tomorrow when she'd be requesting an early leave from Inuyasha.

He'd been in a bad mood all day. Come to think of it he had seemed upset when she'd come in too and she hadn't asked why. Even when her days were bad she would question. Though he wasn't acting too concerned about her state so...

"That's no reason to be such a bitch" she mumbled to herself "If he wants to be an ass to you, Kagome, fine. In the office he always is. Don't sink to that level"

"To what level?"

Kagome looked up in surprise to see Inuyasha closing the door to his office. She smiled weakly before shaking her head. How appropriate of him to walk in now.

"Just talking to myself. My sanity has left me for the day"

"Really?" He set his suitcase down on the desk and looked over her and to the things she was gathering for the night, then to the empty desks behind him "Everyone gone?"

"According to internal security all floors have checked out for the night" she said matter of factly

"So we're all alone, huh?"

Kagome blushed, turning her back on him to file some papers. She didn't have heightened sense as he, but she could hear him shift behind her desk and could definitely feel his hands squeeze her waist and slid to her hips.

Her breath caught as it usually did despite his familiar touch and presence. Though, in the office or not, her heart would start racing from his actions.

Inuyasha brought her back to his chest and rested his chin on her shoulder "You feeling okay?"

"Yeah" she whispered back. Her eyes somehow managed to close as she let her body relax against his.

"You seem...." His right hand trailed down from her hip to the inner part of her thigh as she gasped in surprise "tense"

"Monday's usually leave me this way" she replied in effort

His hand stroked the highest part of her inner thigh before giving her flesh a gently squeeze. His hand moved to the bottom hem of her skirt and snaked under it before resuming it's position. He gave another light squeeze that sent her head back onto his shoulder and her hips to buck into his touch.

"Do you want me to help you relax?" he whispered

Kagome didn't answer. His fingers had started stroking the crotch of her panties leaving her mind blurry. It felt so good, and yes she wanted him to keep going but she was embarrassed to ask.

His hand moved under the thin fabric; touching the most sensitive part of her body. She cried out in a pleasure filled moan, her head digging further against his shoulder as her back arched with desire for more.

His fingers began rubbing against her, pressing harder into her bundles of flesh and leaving her to cry out in sheer pleasure. Two of his fingers slid into her entrance and started a fast, hard rhythm.

She screamed, reaching her arm out to wrap around the back of his neck and bring his face to her. Their lips met in a passionate kiss, him breathing hard from the thrill of her excitement and her moaning in pleasure.

Feeling like she was robbing him, she rubbed her ass against his apparent erection as he bucked against her in return. They both moaned in pleasure to their new motions. He continued fingering her, pushing harder and faster against her and she kept the grind going against his penis. With each round things got harder, the breathing heavier and the actions faster.

Kagome's pleasure was mounting faster than she could keep up with the moves. She cried out in pure bliss as her knees buckled under her. Inuyasha's free hand kept her up and he pulled his other hand out of her to help turn her around so they faced each other.

She kept her eyes closed, still panting heavily as she recovered from her orgasm. She barely realized they were now seated in her chair until he shifted her so her legs were draped across his lap.

His lips brushed against her earlobe sending chills down her spine "Feeling better?"

"In a way" she managed to whisper back

+++

The digital clock above the CD player read 12:00. Usually they made it out of the office together at 11:00, but it had felt so right having her in his arms like that. It was a subtle comfort that he hadn't wanted to end but she had fallen asleep and if he had stayed longer he would have fallen asleep as well.

With some effort in the elevator he had managed to carry a sleeping Kagome, her things, and his things down and into his car. He was nearing her apartment now and though he would rather carry her upstairs while she continued to sleep he couldn't chance someone seeing them. He had to wake her.

Pulling into an empty spot in front of her complex, he shifted to park and turned his car off. Next to him Kagome slept soundly with her head resting on his shoulder. He grimaced but nudged her.

"Kagome? You're home"

"Huh?" was her sleepy response. She raised her head, looking around "Oh. How long have I been sleeping?"

"It doesn't matter" he replied quietly "Think you can make it to the door without collapsing?"

"Yeah" she looked out the windsheild to the darkened windows "I'll be fine. But I'll probably crash hard again once I get in there"

"As long as it's in there and not in the street" he mumbled, reaching out for her things in the back seat "The last thing I need is to hear you've been raped by some human"

"Oh, so if it's a demon it's fine?"

He gave her a hard look at her innocent one "That's not even funny. You know what I fuckin' mean so don't mess around like that. I happen to care what happens to you and would go into a mad fit if you were hurt"

She smiled warmly, leaning over to kiss him "I know"

"So don't mess around like that" he continued without missing a beat "Now whenever you come in late I'll have to be worrying about you? Damnit! You nearly gave me a heart attack today. Why the hell didn't you answer your phone?"

"Ask the person who has it" she mumbled miserably "It vanished along with my change purse and my bus pass"

"Shit" he shifted to look at her "Anything important?"

"My dignity, yes"

He gave her a sharp look

"No. Some money, that's all" She sighed, looking out the windshield "My books are pretty ruined so I'll have to pay for them--"

"I'll pay them off, so don't stress yourself over it. And I'll call the phone company tonight to report it stolen. You'll have a new one on your desk come morning"

"You don't have to--about the books I mean"

"But I'm going to"

Kagome smiled softly, feeling her face blush from not only his intense stare but the kindness he spoke. At the office he put up such a front for the other as well as a face for himself. But when it was just the two of them things were so different. Sure, he never lost the spark that made him, him but he was different.

"You changed your outfit"

"Yeah, that's why I escaped my station" she explained, catching his eyes again "Sango brought me a change of clothing so I wouldn't "embarrass you"."

"Keh! You could never embarrass me"

"That's not what you said this afternoon" she said with a touch of resentment

"I was in a mood"

"You could have told me" she countered "You know you can tell me anything" She reached out for his hand "What was it?"

"Brother problems" he replied shortly "But, forget it. You went down for clothes?"

She nodded

"Then what's this I hear about you and your boyfriend?"

Kagome made a face "What?"

"Kareshi said you were talking with your boyfriend early" he explained, his anger overpowering his curiosity "Just what the hell did he mean by that?"

"Kareshi doesn't know what he's taking about" she replied dryly "If boyfriend is the new name for boss, then, yes, I was talking with my boyfriend this afternoon"

"Boss?" The anger seemed to have died into confusion "What boss?"

"For the restaurant I work at? Remember?" He had a spaced look that made her sigh "I work there when I don't have class in the morning, like tomorrow"

"You never told me that"

"I didn't?" She pushed her eyebrows together "That's odd"

"Why do you need to work there when you work for me?"

"Extra money. Any chance I get I need it" She shook her head "So that's only Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday"

"Hmmm"

For some reason it wasn't sitting well with him that she was working for someone else. Not that he was trying to make her only his...but he wanted to know sooner. Maybe he could check with his advisers and see if he could increase her pay, though. Just to see. After all, it would be easier for her to just work in one place, right?

"Speaking of the word, why does Miroku have the impression that I have one?"

At this Inuyasha smirked. Ignoring the question in her face, he took her by the waist and dragged her across her seat until she was set to straddle him. He moved forward, pressing his lips to her as their lower bodies rocked.

He bucked up into her as she made a cute sound, pressing her lower half into him. As the kiss grew fierce he reached his hand up and took a breast in each hand. He squeezed, turned, and pinched the soft mounds until she had to break away from the kiss and fall back against the steering wheel with a pleasure filled scream.

Inuyasha smirked, gathering her into his chest as she continued to breathe heavily.

"I can't let anyone think they can have you" he whispered "You're mine Kagome Higurashi"
