Loser's Day At Work

Sesshomaru had woken up by the sun's rays. He felt movement beside him and looked. Rin had snuggled up to him for warmth. She had the usual smile on her face. He brushed the hair away from her eyes.

He wondered why he was so attracted to her. She was the opposite of him. She showed every emotion plainly on her face while he had the same impassive expression. She was so full of life and lived it like it was while he worked to pass the time.

Maybe it was those things that captivated him. In such a short amount of time he grew to love the girl in his arms. He didn't think it was likely for him to fall in love, especially with a girl like her.

Rin yawned and opened her eyes. The first things she saw were Sesshomaru's amber orbs. "Morning." She smiled as she hugged him.

"Morning." Sesshomaru said. "Did you sleep well?"

"Of course I did. You slept beside me." Rin said laying her head on his chest. "Did you have a good sleep?"

"The best." Sesshomaru said.

Rin giggled and sat up. "What do you want for breakfast?" Rin asked.

"How about we go out to eat?" Sesshomaru said.

"Okay. I'm going to take a shower." Rin said. She got up and walked into the bathroom. "You can take one when I'm done."

Inuyasha and Kagome were heading to her apartment. They had just dropped Shippo off at the daycare center. Kagome thought hard about moving in with Inuyasha. She didn't know what to do. It was a big step.

They got to Kagome's apartment. There was a bouquet of flowers in front of her door. Kagome picked them up and unlocked her door. She set the flowers on the table and looked for a card. "So, who are those from?" Inuyasha asked as he took a seat on the couch.

"I don't know." Kagome said. She found the card and read it.

"Ah. So, who's it from?" Inuyasha asked. He was getting a little angry. Someone sent his girlfriend flowers.

"Hojo." Kagome said.

"WHAT?" Inuyasha yelled.

Kagome cringed from the volume of his voice. "Calm down." Kagome said.

"Calm down? That little wimp is sending you flowers." Inuyasha said.

"It's not like there's any harm in it." Kagome said as she went into the kitchen.

"Where are you going?" Inuyasha asked.

"I'm going to put these in water." Kagome said.

"What? Why?" Inuyasha yelled.

"Because he was nice enough to send them to me." Kagome said.

"Nice? He just wants to break us up." Inuyasha said.

"It's not like he'll be able to do it, I'm not interested in him anyway." Kagome said.

"So does that mean you'll move in with me?" Inuyasha smirked, forgetting his earlier jealousy.

"Wh-what? I never said anything like that." Kagome said.

"Then think about it. I want an answer soon." Inuyasha said.

"You're way too demanding. Do you know that?" Kagome asked. She walked into the living room and set the flowers on the table.

"Of course I know that." Inuyasha said.

"Your such a pain." Kagome said as she sat on the couch.

Inuyasha pulled her close. "And yet you haven't gotten rid of me." He said smugly.

"Like you would leave me alone even if I tried to." Kagome said.

Later that night everyone met at the club. They were early again. The girls wanted the guys to hurry up and get in their uniforms. They acted secretive the whole night while they were setting up. "Where are the uniforms?" Miroku asked.

"They're in the back." Sango smiled innocently.

Miroku leaned over towards Inuyasha and Sesshomaru. "I know that smile and it's not good." He whispered.

They both looked over to their girlfriends. They had the same innocent smile as Sango. Something wasn't right. They could feel it. They all walked back into the room. They had a bet and they lost, so they would have to go through with it.

"Do you think that they are worried?" Rin asked.

"The outfits weren't that bad." Kagome said.

"But we made it seem like it was." Sango giggled.

"That's their fault for jumping to conclusions." Rin said.

"True." Kagome said.

The guys came out in their uniforms. "You made it seem like a bad thing." Miroku said.

"Can we help it if you assume the worst?" Sango said.

The guys were wearing tight black leather jeans and black boots. They had a button up shirt that wasn't buttoned and no shirt underneath. You could see their muscles and they're great physique.

Rin practically drooled at the site of Sesshomaru, even though she'd seen much more of him earlier. Kagome blushed and busied herself with something and Sango smiled. Inuyasha smirked. "You made is seem like we were going to come out in the nude." Inuyasha said.

"That's not allowed in this club or the girls would have been walking around in nothing a long time ago." Miroku said.

Sango hit him for his comment. The door opened and women were piling in through the door. "Why are there so many women here? Usually there's not that many." Miroku said.

"We had flyers going around." Sango said.

"Hai, wouldn't want guys checking you out right?" Rin said.

"We'll be in the back." Kagome said. All the girls walked to the VIP room.

"I think we're in trouble." Miroku said. Women started walked towards them. They were shouting drink orders and their numbers.

"Keh, we can handle it." Inuyasha said.

"Don't get too full of yourself Inuyasha." Sesshomaru said. The guys went to work.

By the time the night was over the guys were dead tired. Sesshomaru as leaning against the bar, Miroku was lying on the bar on the other side of Sesshomaru, and Inuyasha was lying on the floor.

"Tired?" Sango asked as the girls walked out of the VIP room.

"How do you girls do this every night?" Miroku asked.

"You get used to it." Kagome said.

"It's like a gift for girls. We have to worry about perverts trying to get in our pants." Rin said.

"I hope you guys get paid good for this." Inuyasha said.

"Oh we do." Kagome laughed.

"We have to go through a week of this." Sesshomaru reminded them.

"Ah, a whole week off with pay." Rin sighed.

"And we get to watch the guys suffer." Kagome said.

"We could've won if we felt like it." Miroku said.

"Sure you could've. You keep telling yourself that." Sango said as she patted Miroku's head in a childish way.

"Fine let's have another bet." Miroku said.

"Why? You couldn't even last one day without doing something perverted." Sango said.

"Fine one day nothing perverted." Miroku said. "If we win you do whatever we want."

"And if we win?" Sango asked.

"If you win we'll do another week of ladies night." Miroku said.

"Deal." Sango said and they both shook on it.

"Sango!" Kagome and Rin shouted.

"We'll win." Miroku said.

"Sure you will." Sango said as she patted his head again.

"I'm tired. Let's go." Inuyasha said. He grabbed Kagome's arm and pulled her out of the club.

They both got into his car and he drove to Kagome's apartment. "I'll see you tomorrow." Inuyasha yawned.

"Oyasumi." Kagome said.

He leaned over to kiss her but stopped. `Damn nothing perverted.' He thought. Even if it wasn't really perverted he didn't want to take the chance that it could lead onto anything more.

"Oyasumi." He mumbled.

Kagome giggled and got out of the car. She walked up to her apartment and went to her bedroom. Something felt missing as she crawled into her nice comfortable bed. She didn't want to think about what it was so she went to sleep.

The whole day nothing had happened. The guys didn't even see the girls at all. They all eventually met at the club when the guys picked the girls up to take them there. They all stepped into the club.

"I can't believe this." Sango said. "You're cheating."

"We're not cheating." Miroku smiled.

"You are. You guys didn't even come see us at all." Sango said.

"That doesn't mean we weren't cheating. You never said anything about us having to see you." Miroku said.

"That is so low." Sango said.

"It is not." Miroku said. "Next time be more specific."

"Don't worry Sango. The bet isn't over yet." Rin said.

"They still have until closing time." Kagome said.

"I think I know what I want when we win." Inuyasha said emphasizing the we part.

"I may have to think about it for a while." Sesshomaru said.

"Me too." Miroku said.
