You woke with Sesshoumaru's arms firmly around you as if even in his sleep he wouldn't let you go, looking around you noticed it was night, the moonlight shining brightly through the window's and balcony French doors. Looking at him you see the innocent smile on his face as if he were dreaming at best dream ever and in that dream he could be carefree and unbound by the rules and restrictions that come with being a Lord although that in it's self is a type of freedom. Sighing, you brushed one of his bangs from his face gently stroking the side of his face, he moved in his sleep, his face rubbing against your hand. "I love you Sesshoumaru," you whispered placing a gentle kiss on his temple, he barley stirred, only the tightening off his arms letting you know he felt your lips brush the soft skin. Cuddling back up against him you close your eyes going back to sleep in his arms, safe and loved.

"Devani, Devani wake up," you heard Sesshoumaru's voice whisper through the darkness of an ending dream, "Yeah, yeah, yeah ten more minutes," you mumble trying to snugging back into your pillows only to hear five of six separate laughs. Groaning softly you open your eyes, sunshine burning your eyes, "Devani, love wake up," Sesshoumaru said his hands brushing the side of your face. You knew of only five or six people he would openly so affection in front of not including yourself. Opening your eyes you look up at his softly smiling face, "Morning," he whispered, nodding you look to the foot of the bed, Stephen, Silva, Sorekaze, Tokimune, Maria and Rin all standing their smiling down at you. "Why's everyone so...happy?" you asked shuffling up making sure the sheet covered your breasts, beaming Silva said "I see your feeling much better milady,". "Yeah I guess, but that doesn't explain why your guys are all smiles and laughter," you say really confused, Climbing onto the end of the bed Rin said "Lord Sesshoumaru is going to let you talk to everyone again and do what you normally did a month or so ago," happily in her usual bright and cheery voice. "Really?" you dragged the word out scowling at her trying not to smile, "YEP!!" chuckling Sesshoumaru's voice eases through your mind {I made a promise when you first passed out that she could spend a whole lot of time with you so be weary,} he said sighing you nestled more comfortably into your pillows Sesshoumaru laying full length beside you on his stomach his face resting in his hands. "So why are the rest of you all cherry it's...creepy," you say pulling a face. Sorekaze smiled gently at you "You have calmed our lord and brought peace to his heart...and you're aloud to speak with us, train with us once more," before there was a knock on the door. "We sure a popular this morning," you say before calling out loud enough for the person on the other side to hear "Come in," as the door opened Sara's head popped in worry on her face. "Milady, milord there's a group of…cloaked people at the gate asking to speak with Lady Devani," she said her voice small, frowning you say "Thank you Sara, everyone if you wouldn't mind leaving so we can dress and see to our guests," you say gesturing to the door. Nodding; they all left leaving you and Sesshoumaru alone. "Oh good god what now," you say relaxing into the mound of pillows behind you "Come on Devani," Sesshoumaru said pulling up his business face. Smirking you say in a low sexy tone "oh I love it when you get all bossy on me and try to order me around," throwing you a warning glance over his shoulder as he grabbed his kimono out of the closet. "Hurry up Devani," he growled smiling sweetly you crawl out of the bed, walking with an extra roll towards him, his eyes turning dark with a very male look "Mmm hmm," you say looking through the closet clicking your tongue before choosing a beautiful blue dress. "Let's go," you say smiling up at him, you knew this was one of his favourites and the look in his eyes let you know he loved seeing you in it.

 

You stood at Sesshoumaru's side as the gates opened you saw them five cloaked figures their faces hidden in shadows "Lord Sesshoumaru, Lady Devani we come to speak with you," the one in front of the others said. Frowning you could feel the waves of cautious coming off Sesshoumaru {Invite them to the study my love, we shale see what they need} you say smiling at them. "Welcome, come let us retire to the study," you say before Sesshoumaru could say a word, glaring down at you as you turned at cloak figures following {Sesshoumaru I think...I think their Night flyers} you say as you both walk through the great doors. {What's a Night flyer Devani?} he asked knowing not to speak aloud {A Night flyer can be one of five different species' of...devil they were the one major threat my people had, they would come to earth, which we protected and would... they would get ride of nuisances or threats to the time frame like Naruko...after the destruction of my peoples I thought them dead, they were dieing out, fading as our power faded...I didn't know their were any left,} you say the bewilderment in your voice. {What are the different types?} {Well you have your Slough, they're scary I'll tell you that much their height ranges with age and power, they generally have black skin and eyes, pointed ears and many horns, umm jack-of-irons their really tall I think the shorts recorded was 6'4 they have green or yellow skin, bore tusks and a pigs snout, small beady eyes and yeah I can't remember much about those coz I only saw one once, wolverines, think a werewolf, they have two forms a more human form and a wolf form, Goblins their your traditional goblin short ugly and viscus as hell and the last is the keepers or watchers of the Night flyers who are sidhe their really powerful elves with deadly powers and can come in many different colours but are all tall,} you say frowning as you entered the study. {What do you think we're dealing with now?} he asked turning with a cold closed face to your visitors "Have a seat," he said coldly as you say in his mind {No Jack-of-iron none are tall enough, no goblin, none short enough, so maybe some Slough, wolverine and Sidhe it's hard to tell with the cloaks,} as you both sit on the other side of his desk him in his seat you on a cushion next to it. "Lord Sesshoumaru, Lady Devani- you cut him off scowling "Remove the cloaks," you growl you always hated talking to people in cloaks you could never tell who or what they are. "Milady why should we do that," he asked chidingly glaring you say "Because I know Night flyer when I see them, I moved us here so you could remove them and no one else would be the wiser," coldly. He seemed to nod removing the cloak revelling himself to be sidhe, his name Jadea his hair jade green, his eyes jade and gold with emerald fire around the pupil, his skin the colour of pale fresh leaves, new to a spring morning. "Jadea, it's been a while," you say coldly, he had once called you an abomination of the gods, which was before he tried to bed you. The next to were slough, slightly shorter than him, black hair and eyes, beady little eyes staring at you with more intensity than any other could put in a single glance, you could feel their gaze on you like ants. The last two were wolverine's one had bright fire red hair and blue, blue eyes his skin a creamy gold, the other was a little shorter his skin a golden tan, brown, solid brown eyes and golden brown hair, not brown but un indistinguishable brown that is a mix of browns, reds, gold's and blacks. "Who are they Jadea?" you ask glaring at him Sesshoumaru's hand stroking your thigh through the thin blue material. "The two Slough are Vern and Kain, the wolves are Asher and Pyro, boys meet princess Devani," his voice was cold and full of disappointment. "Gentlemen meet my mate and Lord of the western plains Sesshoumaru, Sesshoumaru my love meet Jadea captain of the royal guard of Lokia," {Lokia was the name of my home before everyone died,} you say as Sesshoumaru spoke his voice cold and distrustful. "Why have you come here? Or did you just come to speak rudely to my mate?" he asked glaring at Jadea.

 

"As you like 'Lord' Sesshoumaru, we have come to..." he seemed pained by what he was about to request or say so Asher stepped forward putting his hand gently on Jadeas arm, sighing he nodded getting a bright white smile from Asher, the white of his very animalistic teeth in the tan of his skin was startling. "Milady, milord we humbly ask your permission to remain here and work for you as Devani and Your personal guard or in your army," he asked his voice deeper than it should have been, growling and more animal than man. You were so stunned you just blinked several times, Sesshoumaru looking down at you feeling your confusion, "Jadea...why would you stoop so low as to work for me as you said once I am an abomination before the gods, a thing to be destroyed or ignored," you say coldly. "Milady we have no were else, no one knows what we are and fear us because of the lack of knowledge, you are the only remaining member of either court your mother and father were apart of and you, even though Jadea dislikes you a great deal, are very powerful, with a powerful mate and are worthy of our protection," Kain said calmly his voice softer than it should have been. {What do you think Sesshoumaru should we or shouldn't we?} You asked him telepathically looking up at him {Do you trust them?} he asked looking down at you but you knew he was watching them from the corner of his eye. {Jadea I wouldn't trust as far as Rin could throw him, the others, Slough once they take an oath they believe they are bound by it, the wolverines are loyal by nature, think a well trained dog, once they see you as dominate or higher up to them they will follow you, and these two seem to be weaker, umm lesser in their original pack, they wouldn't follow Jadea if they were higher up, Jadea was a weak Sidhe,} you say glancing at them Jadea was glaring at you intently. He had never gotten over the fact that you said no. {So you're not sure we can trust Jadea?} {Hell no, hmm, make the Slough and wolves our guards and make Jadea apart of the army he'll hate that,} you said smiling a viscously sweet smile. {Bitch,} he said smirking at you {Oh, I know,} you both turn at the same time making Jadea look very nervus; Asher tilted his head like a curious dog. "Kain, Vern, Asher and Pryo you shale be put into our guard," Jadea smirk probably think he'd get a spot closer to you and the throne you sat on, he had always been a boot licker. "Jadea-Sesshoumaru's voice was cold as he said the name, he'd picked up your thoughts about Jadea trying to bed you- you shale join my army...SARA!!" he yelled making you jump. She pocked her head in glancing at the others before looking timidly back at Sesshoumaru "Yes milord," "Get Stephen," he growled elbowing him lightly you send a warning growl through his mind which he returned in kind. Minutes later Stephen walked in his head held high "You sent for me milord," he asked dropping to one knee head bowed obviously you were using all manors and etiquette that you had in your arsenal. "Take Jadea with you, put him in your group and train him hard," Sesshoumaru said coldly, glaring at Jadea he said "Go with Stephen, do as he says or you'll be seeing me very soon," glaring back Jadea followed Stephen out.
