Can't Control

Chapter 1: The Experiment

She laid there. Still, unable to move, her blood red eyes burning into the scientists above her. She hated this routine. Everyday, they would take her out of her secluded her, stick her with a needle so she can transform, and examine her… thoroughly. She was getting tired of this, that is, until her day of freedom happened.

" Kagome!! Time for your examination!!" One of the scientists called into her room. He received no answer, so he tried again.

" Stop trying to hide!!" He walked near her bed. He heard a soft thud and turned around. He saw that the door was locked. He ran to the door and began to bang on it.

" Let me out! Help!!" He yelled.

" Hi! So good to see you!" A voice said. The scientist looked up and screamed.

Kagome Higurashi now strolled down the streets, admiring her new surroundings. She was wearing the scientist outfit, which consisted of blue jeans and a lab coat. She hated her life. Having her family killed right before her eyes and being taken at the age of 8 to become this 'thing'.

' It's been 9 years after that… I sure missed a lot of things.' She thought as she stared at a toy store.

' I wonder how life would be like if I wasn't taken by the bastard…' As Kagome thought about her life, she hadn't noticed someone until she walked into him.

" What the hell---?" Kagome didn't have a chance to finish her sentence as she stared at the most gorgeous guy she had every seen.

" Who is this sexy man?"

~*~*~**~**~ Inuyasha 's Pov  

Freaky, but gorgeous. That's all I got to say about the woman that sits before me. She is just sitting there with her eyes on me. I saw a light blush form on her cheeks, and for some strange reason, my cheeks felt hot.

" Inuyasha!! What the hell is wrong with you?? Can't you stay still when I ask a question?"

Damn it! I slowly turned around and saw my best friend running towards me. Sango Rashiyo is a very persistent person, and once she ask a question, you have to answer or she'll hunt you down… Literally.

" All I asked was if you like Kikyo Hiroshima and you just walked off!"

" You already knew the answer to the damn question!" I yelled at her. She huffed and looked behind me. I turned and saw the girl getting up from the ground and dusting herself. While she fixed her outfit, she continued to stare at me.

" Who is she, Inuyasha?" Sango asked slyly.

" I don't know… I accidentally bumped into her." I mumbled. Sango gasped and punched me on the head.

" Ite!!!!!!!" I screamed. The girl giggled as she watched me jump up and down rubbing my head.

" I apologize to my rude friend. He should've apologized."

" That's okay." She smiled at me and I quickly blushed.

" What's your name?" Sango asked.

" Kagome Higurashi! Who are ya?"

" I'm Sango Rashiyo. And this is Inuyasha Tashio, the stubborn jack-ass."

" Hey! I heard that!" I yelled at Sango.

" Too bad… you know it's true."

 " Feh…" I muttered and turned the other way.

" Where you headin', Kagome?" Sango looked at Kagome.

" I don't know… I'm admiring the scenery."

" But, you're wearing a scientist outfit… are you a scientist?"

Kagome stared at her outfit and blushed.

" Oh no… I stole them." We both gasped.

" You're a thief?" I asked abruptly. I saw something flash in her red eyes, but she quickly shook her head.

" No, just… a…"

" Just a what?" Sango asked slowly.

" A thing. I'm something, but I can't remember what."

" Huh?" Kagome smiled at us, and began walking away. We followed her.

" Wanna hear a story?"

Sango and I looked at each other and nodded,

 " There once was a little girl at the age of 8. Her family was slaughtered right in front of her. She was rapped in her family's blood, and then taken. She was an experiment, she was to be given items to test out, and they would not care what happens as a result… Then, a huge project came up. They would give the girl a serum that would transform her into the devil…"

" The devil?" Sango gasped.

" Yup."

" Wow…" I mumbled.

" The serum worked, but she was given too much power. Now, she is the devil and the girl, but the serum created another being within her that has no identity. So now after escaping, the girl, or project D, wanders about the city."

" How do know this?" I asked as we sat down on a bench.

" Yea, is she your friend or something?" Sango leaned over so she can see Kagome.

" I know because the girl is… me."
