Can't Make Me Love You

Chapter One

 

“Yes,” said a wicked voice. “Sleep, my dear.” Below him was a beautiful girl in a red and orange kimono. Her knee-length brown hair was matted across her face. Her closed eyes showed fear in her deep sleep. The man had a blue and white armor suit on with his long hair pulled into a tight braid.

 

Then, something happened. The man in the armor soon transformed into a more wicked looking man with long, wavy hair and narrow red eyes. His evil grin would bring fear even to one of the strongest villains.

 

“Kagura,” he called, looking backward. “Yes lord Naraku?” Said a female demon in a purple and white kimono. “Kill her. That way, Bankotsu will have his mind straight.” The other demon nodded, took the girl, hopped onto a large feather, and flew away.

 

“Excellent,” said the man. “This plan is going rather well. With that girl dead, Bankotsu will have the strength to kill, not to feel sympathy.”

 

Where should I kill her? Kagura thought. Maybe I'll have Sesshomaru do it. She didn't know that Naraku had just taken her from there.

 

Within 20 minutes, they were there. Kagura dragged the girl and knocked on the large stain glass doors. “Who's there?!” said a squeaky voice. “Relax imp. It's me.” Kagura replied.

 

The door opened and revealed an ugly green thing. “What do you want Kagura?!” he said, sounding annoyed. “Tell Sesshomaru to kill her.” She dropped the girl on the ground and walked to her feather.

 

The imp left the door open and walked to Sesshomaru's sleeping chambers.

 

“Lord Sesshomaru?” he called. “What is it Jaken?” said a cold voice. “The girl is back. Kagura wants you to kill her.” Sesshomaru's face then turned worried. “L-lord Sesshomaru, your face! Do we need a doctor?” Sesshomaru banged him in the head. “I'm fine.” He then walked toward the door. “Milord?” Jaken soon followed.

 

Sesshomaru picked the girl's inert body up and walked to Rin's sleeping chambers.

 

“Lord Sesshomaru!” Rin said, standing outside her bedroom. “Lady Kurama-sama!” she smiled to see that her friend was back. “She will be staying in your room, Rin.” Sesshomaru said. “What happened to her?” Rin asked. Sesshomaru and Jaken just walked away.
