Prologue

A young woman with long raven black hair and chocolate brown eyes was walking down the steps of the shrine she was now the priestess of. This woman was around her mid-twenties and looked as if she had been through many hard times even as young as she is. Her name is Kagome Higurashi; she is the mother of four lively children, quadruplets to be exact.
Kagome wandered up to the sacred tree, as she stood before the ancient tree she thought back to when they were separated. `Inu Yasha… oh InuYasha' as she whispered his name a lone tear slid down her cheek.
“Mum! Fable, Bold and Arcania won't leave me alone!” A young girl's voice called out too her mother. Kagome turned around to face her last born daughter of the four children she has. `Those eyes and ears…so like her father, now that I think about it they all seem like their father except for their tails.' She pondered.
“Kairi” Kagome said.
The little girl's little black dog ears perked up at the sound of her name, Kairi looked up with an annoyed look on her pretty face, all the while her silver/gold eyes sparkling.
“Yeah, mum?” She answered questioningly.
“I have a question for you, your two brothers and your sister; will you go ask them for me after I ask you?” Kagome inquired.
“Sure!” Kairi squealed, jumping up in excitement.
“Well, it's your 11th birthday soon isn't it?” Kagome said with a warm smile towards her daughter.
“Come to think of it, it's all four of your birthdays on the same day isn't it?” Kagome giggled.
Kairi nodded vigorously, giggling too, her thick black dog tail wagging showing her excitement. Kairi thought about what her mother would ask.
“Well, how about tomorrow on all your birthdays we go visit the Old Well?” Kagome asked after gathering her courage, hoping as she asked that her theory was right about her four kid's extraordinary powers.
`And if I'm right… the well will open once again & I'll be able to see Inu Yasha again & Bold, Arcania, Fable and Kairi can finally meet their father, but I won't mention that so that I don't get their hopes up, if it doesn't work out.' Kagome pondered again.
“Really!?” Kairi asked. Kagome nodded smiling. Then she watched as Kairi dashed away to tell her siblings, `their so full of energy' Kagome thought happily. Kagome listened to Kairi speaking to Bold about it then Fable then Arcania. Then they all came running to their mother looking for confirmation & checking that their sister Kairi wasn't making it up.
“Mum! Really?” Bold piped up, his white tail wagging madly whilst his bright amber eyes looked hopefully up to his mother. Bold the first born of the litter of four quarter dog-demons and who was so much like his father in looks and personality excluding the long white dog tail. Kagome nodded with a bright smile on her beautiful face.
“Whoa, Yeah!” Bold jumped up in excitement, whilst his two sisters were giggling at his antics and his brother just shaking his head in embarrassment.
“Yes, little ones we're going to the Old Well on the other side of the shrine tomorrow on your 11th birthday.” Kagome said radiating with happiness.
“Now off too bed with you all, have you all done your homework?” Kagome inquired with a knowing look on her face. Bold, Fable, Arcania and Kairi had `Uh oh' looks on their faces and rushed up to do their home work and go too bed, hopes flying for what would happen when they awoke.

The next morning all four of the Higurashi children were rushing around getting ready, opening birthday presents, Bold got a decrepit old sword, but a sword that his mother had always treasured because it had belonged to his father and it was used to protect his mother from harm. The sword Tetsaiga, the sword that kills 100 demons in one mighty swing.
“Wow, awesome!” Bold exclaimed, swinging the sword around carefully so as to test it out. He then sat down to see what his brother Fable was opening. Fable is the third born of four, he has long white hair with black streaks running through it, his dog ears were white with black tips and his tail was white with a single black stripe running down the middle to the tip of his tail, his eyes were silver/gold and he was tearing through the packaging of his present. He got a football from his Uncle Sota, though he did want the baseball that Bold got from uncle Sota so they swapped.
Fable had finished opening his present from his mother, it was a book of spells that Kagome had gotten from Miroku one of her group of friends she traveled in Feudal Japan with when she went through the well to the past…before it sealed when the Jewel of four souls disappeared suddenly.
“Cool!” Fable exclaimed also as he rummaged through the pages of the spell book. As he did Kairi was opening her present, she had got a skipping rope from uncle Sota. Kairi was tearing through the wrapping paper of her present and she got a crystal dagger, the same one that Sango another of Kagome's friends from the feudal era gave her.
“Wicked!” Kairi squealed. Inspecting her new dagger, Arcania was staring at the big package she got.
All 3 siblings stared at her, questioningly as Arcania slowly began to open her present. Kagome was looking on proudly at her 4 children and urged Arcania to open her present. Arcania had previously opened a present that turned out to be a basketball from uncle Sota. Arcania pulled out a bag full of sacred arrows and a bow. Her mothers bow to be exact.
“Wow!” Arcania exclaimed. She said her thanks and began inspecting her bow and arrows. Kagome stood up and beckoned her children too her.
“So is everyone ready to go to the old well?” Kagome inquired. All the children nodded excitedly with their dog tails wagging.

Once outside the old well Kagome told them to chant a spell then say the name of the best thing of their personality. They wondered why but they thought it would be fun so.
All 4 children held each others hands and chant the spell. “Noire, Chante, Zura, Ai no bashen lurei” they chanted. Then each child said their most powerful attribute of their personality.
Bold chanted “Courage!” Arcania chanted “Love” Kairi chanted “Friendship” and last of all Fable chanted “Wisdom.” As they did this in front of the well they start glowing different aura's. Bold's was a red aura, Arcania's was a pink aura, Kairi's aura was yellow and Fable's was blue. Part's of their aura's flew into the sealed well, Kagome looked on with hope, then a look of such happiness emerged on her face. Her theory was right as to why the Jewel disappeared, the powers of her children's personalities and how it would all reopen the ancient well and the path through time.
As she looked on and as the children looked on in confusion, the well began to glow with the mixed colours of the children's aura's and power's unsealed the well. The power of the well drew all five of them in, down into the Feudal Era.
