Chapter 2: Thoughts Before

The locker room was buzzing with noise, conversations of how big their girl friends chests were, was the main topic. The wolves' football team was acting like usual.

Koga only sat there quietly in the corner knowing that his girlfriend Kagome had the biggest chest out of all the guys' girlfriends there. He put on his sneakers and started lacing them up. All the energy seemed drained out of him. I wonder if having mental stress affects physical stress. He vaguely wondered.

“Hey Koga!” called the voice of Ginta from his locker two doors down. “You seem out of it lately. What, having a lovers tiff with Kagome?” he said with a joking intention.

“Not really, we're just not connecting any more ya know. She keeps on coming up with these reasons why we can't go out, or hang together, talk, or anything.” He sighed and looked down, this was the most depressed he'd ever been because of a girl.

“Well ya know Koga, if you wanna get her to notice you again, why don't you do something drastic.” He looked around the locker room until he caught sight of who he was looking for. “Like (slight pause) kill Hokkaku over there.” He pointed to his brother, five lockers down.

Hakkaku hearing what his brother had just said pulled his shirt over his some what puny body for a football player, and went over to join their conversation.

“Why doesn't he kill you?” he asked as he sat down on the narrow, long bench. The brothers glared at each other.

“Guys,” their attention went back to their captain and best friend. “I wanna get Kagome back not the police” Koga said before the two went at each other.

“Oh true” they admitted together.

“So what now?”

“Well you can go out with another girl in front of her.” Ginta suggested

“Baka! That'll give her a reason to break up with him.” Hokkaku argued. “I have an idea, why don't you hire some guys to try and kidnap her, and then you beat them up like your protecting her.”

Koga and Ginta looked at him with looks that said “where the hell does he come up with these idiotic plans.” “Is he serious” and “he's been watching too many freaken chick-flicks.”

Koga answer with lots of restraint clenching his fists at his side “Yah, as if I'd put my Kagome in any danger like that!”

They sat there all together with their hand resting on their chins, holding up their heads, and their elbows resting on their knees.

Then it clicked. Ginta was the one to start talking first. “Hey you know how you always refer to her as your women…”

”Then” Hokkaku picked up. “Why don't you really make her your women? And show her how much you love her,”

“And plus the fact that wolves mate for life.” Ginta finished off. Hinting at something other then the name of their team.

“Yah and then she'll realize how much she loves me and needs me around.” Koga said with a growing smile on his lips. Tonight's the night, I'll make that happen.

They all walked over to the door with the rest of the team waiting for the signal to go out on the field.

Kagome was sitting outside on the school bleachers. The gusty wind was whipping her raven color hair across her face. She looked around; everyone seemed to be in couples. She never felt so isolated, hoping that at least one of her friends would come by, she moved closer to the end of the row and looked down the steps that led up to where she was. She sat their for a good five minutes before she spotted Rin and her boy friend Hiten walking up to her.

“Kagome!” Rin called waving to her and dragging her boy friend faster up the steps.

“Hi Rin, hi Hiten.” She greeted.

“Hi Kagome” he said back, and Rin plopped down next to her, and gave her hug.

Oi, Kagome isn't this great, it's like the good old times.”

“Yah,” Kagome said in a distant voice. The good old times, she repeated in the head. The time when she and Koga first started going out, and when he first became captain of the Wolves.

She remembered a day exactly like this about a year ago. It was the first game she attended as the new captain's girlfriend. Rin sat next to her on the left and on the right sat Sango. They sat in the first row, right behind the Wolves' bench. Behind them sat the new kid Hiten.

The wind was strong and it was just as cold. Every time during his break Koga would turn around and talk to Kagome, well more like flirt. And every time he had to go back out she'd give him a kiss for luck, something he always assured he wouldn't need, but loved to get her kisses anyway. Half way during the game Hiten had moved from behind Rin to next to her. And they were flirting just as shamelessly as Kagome and Koga. As for Sango she was text messaging a person named XxmhoushiXx, apparently he was a monk in training. She hadn't met him yet because he lives off on the other half of the country they'd become close. That's what Kagome remembered as the “good old times”.

During Kagome's trip off to La-la land, Sango had found them and sat down next to Kagome.

“Helllooooooo……Kagome!” she waved her hand in front of her face. It took Kagome to a while to realize who was talking to her.

“Ooh, hi Sango”

“Yah, so Kagome have you heard?”

“Heard what?”

“About those people who moved into that abandoned mansion, you know the one on the other end of town.”

“Oh, no I don't think so…” she broke off as the memory of the afternoon only a few days ago came flooding back it to her mind. “Oh wait, I did hear about those stuck up snobs. Yah you wanna know what? They drove down the street with a police escort, and two limos. Probably just wanna show off all their wealth.” She said, ending with a scoff.

She felt herself start to shake with the rage that consumed the inside of her body. Neither Sango nor Rin knew why she hated people with so much wealth, they only knew of the out come of that accident seven years ago. It was decided it would be for the best if it was kept within the family, no exceptions made.

“Calm down Kagome, I know you hate those kinds of people because they have all that money and wouldn't do a thing to help any other people, believe me I hate them too. But aren't you taking that hate just a tad to far?”

“NO!” Kagome shot back with unusual venom in her voice.

Sango looked up at her with a perplexed look across her features, and found herself moving slightly away from Kagome.

Rin who was oblivious to the whole conversation, due to the fact that she was just frenching Hiten. Started up:

“Hey Sango, Kagome has a reason why she's not with her boy friend, but where's yours?”

“Rin you know that I don't have any, I haven't got time remember?” she hissed to her friend.

“Well find time, I don't want you being all lonely anymore on Friday nights, (her face brightened up as a thought came to It) hey why don't you come with Kagome, Koga, Hiten, and I to the dance club. I'm sure there'll be a guy that's perfect for you.”

“Hey when did I invite you to come with me and Koga?” Kagome asked in confusion, she had wanted this to be as easy a break up as possible and she knew that Koga's pride would suffer if she were to break up with him surrounded by a bunch of people from school.

“Oh come on Kagome it'll be way more fun, plus I know your planning on breaking up with Koga tonight. How do you expect to get home without one of us being there?”

She thought that over for a moment. “Ok I guess,” she said rather reluctantly. “But how do you always know what I'm gonna do, your starting to scare me.” She looked at Rin who just smiled freakishly and replied:

“I have my ways.”

Kagome subconsciously moved away from Rin, and turned to Sango. “She scares me.”

She nodded in agreement “She scares me too.”

Rin was about to say something when they heard the music begin, they all looked down at the school football field. The wolves were entering and causing cheers and boos to rise from the bleachers.

Koga turned his head in the direction of Kagome and smiled at her. How does he always know where to look for me? She wondered as she gave an awkward smile back.

Inuyasha lay on his bed, looking up at the tan colored ceiling. This town is so boring there's nothing to do here. I need a good whore, and bad. God that's the last time I listen to Sesshomaru. There was a knock on his door before it flew open. Standing there was none other then the one and only Sesshomaru.

“What do you want?” The hanyou asked pulling his attention from the ceiling to his older brother.

“What I want, is you to get off you lazy ass and actually leave this room.” He replied with his usual cool uncaring demeanor.

“Why should you care what I do, you got me to move isn't that enough for you?”

“Don't be a baka. You were practically begging to move; it was either that or be stuck with Kikyo for the rest of your life. And I'd rather die then be related to her, and forced to see her all the time.”

“Oh and I'd be jumping for joy to marry her, why do you think I haven't left this room, every time I go some where, no matter where it was, she'd find me and be right behind. She's a crazy STALKER!

“Then why don't you call the monk friend of yours, and see if he can find a place that's public but still private.” Sesshomaru said slowly feeling his patients run thin.

“Whatever, I'll do it later.” Inuyasha said waving his hand like he was dismissing the topic.

“No, now you stupid baka!”

InuYasha rolled over on his bed and picked up his black cell phone from the night stand. Then very slowly to annoy his brother he dialed a number.

“Hello?” answered a voice on the other end.

“Yah Miroku, it's me, do you know a good place to pick up some whores in private, Sesshomaru wants to know.

“Yah I just found one. Loven' it all ready, I'll come over around ten and bring you there.”

Inuyasha looked at his clock it was eight now. Then at his older brother. “Happy?”

“Yes.” And he walked out.
