Chapter 1: "Hurt and Captured"

"Hey bitch! Get over it already. You are only a shard detector and that is all you will ever be. So shut up! Inuyasha yelled at Kagome's turned back. The girl suddenly turned at the statement, tears streaking her silken face. `I made her cry.*shocked* Why? What did I say?'

(A/N: What. An. Idiot. Think hard. Think really hard.)

`SO ALL I AM IS A STUPID SHARD DETECTOR!!!! I can't believe you. You are such a bastard!! Inuyasha I hope your happy!!" and with that the crying miko turned and ran as fast as her legs could carry her. Leaving behind a very confused, and guilty looking hanyou.

`I can't believe him. Is that how he truly feels? That hurt so much….' She thought as she ran blindly through the dark, and frightening forest, still crying. She didn't know where she was or where she was going. All she knew that she wanted to get as far away as possible from Inuyasha. She was so preoccupied she didn't notice that someone was watching her from the trees. Just then she ran head first into something fairly soft, warm, but still cold. As she hit the ground she wearily opened her eyes. She managed to look up to see only a black blurry figure standing in front of her. The last sound to reach her ears was the voice of the stranger saying, "My, my what do we have here." The voice was very cold, emotionless, and evil.

*~*Strangers POV (the person watching from the trees)*~*

As I followed her I made sure nothing attacked her. Just as I turned my back, oh now I wish I didn't, she hit something. I turned just in time to see it. Then I heard his cold, heartless voice. The voice of Naraku.

((((A/N: Dum…dum…dum. *evil creepy music in the background* *lightening flashes, thunder clashes* *I jump about 12 feet in to the air* *holds chest/heart beating really, REALLY fast* Damn it were did that crap come from. I about pissed myself. *Looks around and sees Thatz (aka. ShadowDarkMagician)

And Rath (aka Becky aka RealityDreamist2003)* RATH!!!THATZ!!!! WHAT IS THE BIG IDEA!!!! *Rath and Thatz look at each other than both scream* RUNNNNN!!!! *Nothing but a dust cloud *

Well I guess they won't be around for a while.))))

He stood there as if he won a medal or prize of some sort. He picked her up as if she was a prize he so triumphantly won. `Oh NO!! How could I let this happen? I have to go get that impudent hanyou Inuyasha and her friends. I Hakoutomari cannot take him on by myself in my current state. I will not reduce myself to ask help from Sesshoumaru, or I will never hear the end of it. I can not allow this to happen.' He thought as he raced off towards Keade's hut as fast as he could encountering many youkai along the way.

*~*~*Meanwhile at Keade's hut*~*~*

"Oh just great now we can't find Kagome anywhere, and look at who we got to thank for that." Declared a very mad Sango.

"Yeah… what in the world did you do to her this time! Where is she! Tell me where is Kagome!!" Shippo yelled with his squeaky little voice while jumping up and down.

"Shut Up! I didn't do anything to that wench!" Inuyasha yelled in his own defense.

"Inuyasha my good man," Miroku calmly said while placing a hand on the poor hanyou's shoulder," think. Think reeeeeaaaallllllyyyyy hard. What could you have possibly done to upset Kagome to the point of running away?"

"I don't know…well…I yelled at her and called her a bitch,*scratches head* ::nervous laugh:: could that have been it?" Inuyasha spoke questioningly.

"YOU BAKA!!! YES THAT WAS IT!!!" screamed Miroku while hitting Inuyasha over the head with his staff repeatedly until he was totally unconscious.

(@_@<<Inuyasha>>)(*Clenches fist*<<Miroku>>)(*Holding back Miroku from killing Inuyasha*<<Sango>>)(*Laughing hysterically*<<Shippo>>)

Finally after about 20 more minutes and repeated beatings from a very pissed Miroku, Sango, Shippo, and Kirara. Inuyasha finally gave up and admitted defeat. `Man, they are reeeeeaaaaallllllllllllyyyyy scary when they are pissed. It's worse then a PMSing old hag. Ouch my head hurts'*feels the many large lumps and bruises on his head*`O.o I think I should just keep my mouth shut,' ad with that he shook his head and sat cross-legged on the ground. `What could I have possibly said to hurt her so badly? If she is I will never forgive myself. What did I do?' Inuyasha thought while mentally kicking himself.

Suddenly someone burst through the door of the hut. Every one looked at the shadowed figure slightly slumped over and breathing heavily. The figure then righted himself. Inuyasha was already before him in fighting stance and his hand instantaneously went to the hilt of the

Tetsusaiga. But the man's face never portrayed any stray of recognition of the danger before him being presented as a certain hanyou.

Sango and Miroku both stole glances at each other then at Kirara. Kirara was gone. Sango quickly looked all around the now crowded hut. She found her little companion at the stranger's heels mewing happily as if seeing an old friend after a long time. The stranger said something to the happy fuzz ball that you could just make out as, "Hello Kirara, my old friend what have you been up to?" Just then stranger bent down to pick up the little cat when...

Okay who is this new demon? What does he want? How does he know Kirara? What does Naraku ant with Kagome? Will Inuyasha ever grow up and stop being stupid? Skip that last one that is a NO brainier...Of COURSE NOT!! Am I evil?^^

Okay sorry It is not longer. I have more written up it is just the problem of typing it heh heh... well gtg
