Chapter 3
"Kouga, you gave us all a scare." Shippou said.
Sango and Miroku fianlly relax and took a deep breath.
'Its only Kouga what an idiot walkin up to all of us like that, to think he was a monster of great strenght. Wonder what he wants? What do I want?' Sango thought.
'Kouga what he want! He could of been Sess. or Naraku incarnation! Dosn't he know its dangerous to be out doin that, exspecailly with Kagome, without stupid Inu-yasha!? I meen he does know Inuyasha isn't here right? Should I care if he knows Inuyasha even here? Oh well I just a fax no one would care what i am thinkin anyhow.' thought Shippou
'I wonder what Sango wants in a guy, she was great with the fighting stance. I can't get to close, if I do then I could end up hurtin Sango cause of my "Wind Tunnel". It was to close of Kouga to be like that. He was fast, alil to fast.' Miroku thought.
Kagome looked at Kouga up and down. Somethings changed on him, and it was noticeable to her eye. 'His fangs was alil bigger, and his ears are on top of his head like a wolf. His speed was quiet fast to prove he had 2 more shards added on. He had alil more bullk up, but not much.'She blush, she was noticeing alil to much for her eyes.
"Kouga what are you doing here?" Kagome ask. She was feeling her face heat up,but she pray no one could tell cause it was dark.
"I came to see my woman," he walked up to her "I had smell of your tears my Kagome, and I notice that "Great Inu-yasha" so I am gonna think that he had created your tears that came from your beautiful eyes." Kouga put his arms around her. Kouga looked in her eyes.
Miroku broke the silence that had come. "Kouga your speed, its more powerful then last we saw of it, so please tell us of it, and of why of so?" He sat down against the tree and waited for the answer.
"More shards to put in my body is all. I found two more and so stuck them into my legs. I could use more of it if i need to protect Kagome from everyone else who has harm her as so." Kouga answer
"Kouga you are getting yourself in deep with the shards don't you think?" Sango ask
"No way. I must revenge my comrads who had died from this Naraku!" He face the two of Kagome friend and he pick up Kagome and sat on the ground with her on his lap. "Why is Mutt face not around?"
"Eeeeeee Inuyasha accuse Kagome of something with other men. Which is not right of him." Shippou lil voice spoke. He jump up on Kouga head. Shippou waited to be smack across the forest, but it never happen. Everyone waited for him to smack Shippou, but it never came.
"Kagome doing that?", he broke into laughter "I do not see Kagome doin so, nor the smell of other men on her. She is pure of the new day that awaits us." He held Kagome alil closer.
~~~~Other side~~~~~
Inuyasha sits in the hut with Kaeda mixin some stew. Few days past and all he had been doin was sittin on trees or on top of the hut lookin into the sky. Sleep never came as he wish, nor the feeling of Kagome bein gone made him happy either, infact he felt guilty.
'I should of never accuse her of it. If it was true I would of smell the men all over her. What have I done. I don't even know if she made it home alive and well or if she is dead. What about Sango and Miroku, and lil pain Shippou? Have they died in the hands of Naraku incarnation cause I wanted to be right all the time. I fail Kagome like I fail Kikyou. Both loves I had fail. Not have I just fail two loves, but friends who care about me. What have I done?' Inuyasha thought he lay on his back and look at the ceiling.
"What ye Inuyasha be thinking?" Kaeda spoke stirring the stew.
"Nothin old Hag, its none of your damn business if I was thinking of something!" Inuyasha Said. He stood up and before he left threw the door Kaeda spoke once more.
"Think about it Inuyasha, me be old, but not stupid. I grown old, but wise. Ye still young even for a half demon of 70, but still not wise. Ye may make mistakes, but ye are afraid to make things right on it." Kaeda close her eyes. He had left.
He jump right into the tree and look at the sky. "Maybe Kaeda is right? I need to make things right, I done something wrong and anytime I do so I run from it." He waited, waited for Kagome to come back, for her to have the smile she always had and callin his name, but never happen. It was like he forgot she ran from him. "My heart achs for her, but its hard to say." He close his eyes. "Kagome where are you, what happen to you.?" He open his eyes and jump from the tree. "I need to find her."
~~~Walkin in the forest~~~
They allowed Kouga to stay in the group. They needed someone other the Shippou to smell and her for demons. It was the perfect group, each was speical.
Kouga, Hearing smelling warrior
Miokru, fighter, easy to slap around if he try anything
Sango easy to talk to and a warrior for demons, with Kirara, who was so helpful when needed up in the air
Shippou so funny to keep entertainment
and of course Kagome, who could find a shard in a second.
Everything was so quiet though.
' I miss Inuyasha, why does he do this to me, does he not know I love him so, my heart wishes to be with him, but my brain has the right idea. He dosn't want me, he was Kikyou. I am nothin to him but a shard finder. Why can't he be like Kouga? he so sweet and smart and thoughtful. He great lookin to with those brown wolf ears on top of his head.' She shakes her head 'Kagome no you are not suppose to think of that stuff. He just a friend, a friend who wants you and that loves with all his heart, he wants you just as you wish Inuyasha would want you.' Kouga grap her hand and gave alil squeeze. Kagome looked up at him and tears look at thought they were ready to spill.
"Kagome don't think of Inuyasha, he hurt you for 2 yrs, you need someone better then that. He didn't see you as a person like me or your friends do. So no thinking of him, its time for us to think positive thoughts and get on with our lives. He was a real jerk to you as what I heard, you need someone who will be there and make you laugh when you need it." He gave her a small smile
"Kouga thank you for being my friend, and you are right Inuyasha had not right to do what he did to me. He hurt me more ways then once. He broke his promises and he compare me to another female. I am wrong to think he could see me as as me and not as Kikyou his last love." She gave a small sigh and kept on walkin, hand to hand with Kouga, who brighten her day.
