Chapter 22

The Last Day Alone

After Kagome and Inuyasha had eaten they got dressed. Kagome had called Sango earlier to invite her and Miroku to watch a movie at her house. They were supposed to be there within an hour.

Kagome had made popcorn and put snacks out on the table. "What movie do you want to watch Inuyasha?" She asked.

"I don't care." He barked.

"What's with the attitude?" Kagome asked.

"What attitude?" Inuyasha snapped.

"That attitude." Kagome said.

"I just wanted to spend the rest of our time alone together. Without Miroku and Sango."

"Gomen. I'll make it up to you later." Kagome said.

Inuyasha smiled. "Really?"

"I'm going to regret that aren't I?" Kagome said. Inuyasha just kept smiling with a glazed look in his eyes.

Sango and Miroku knocked on the door. "Hey guys." Kagome said. She stepped out of the way and let them. "Everything is ready we just need to pick a movie."

"What movies do you have?" Sango asked.

"Most of the same ones as last time. I think there are a few new ones." Kagome said.

Inuyasha, Miroku, and Sango looked through Kagome's movies. Sango noticed Kagome acted different than usual. She couldn't explain how she knew she just did. She wanted to see what was up.

"Hey why don't you guys pick a movie? I want to talk to Kagome." She grabbed Kagome's arm and dragged her to her room.

"What did you want to talk about Sango? Is it important enough to almost tear my arm off?" Kagome asked.

"I can't explain it but your acting different and I want to know why." Sango said.

"Well its nothing just that Inuyasha and I..." Kagome couldn't finish the sentence. Her blush explained it all.

Sango got what she meant. "Really? I never would've guessed that."

"Neither did I but it happened." Kagome said. "I'd tell you what happened but Inuyasha and Miroku will probably come in and listen to our conversation. Besides I don't think you want to hear the details."

"You're right." Sango giggled. "I think I hear someone coming up the stairs now."

"So how's the bet going?" Kagome asked.

"I'd rather not talk about it." Sango said. Kagome giggled. That probably meant she was losing. Sango hated losing. They both left the room. They ran into Inuyasha on the way down.

"What the hell was taking you so long?" Inuyasha asked.

"We were just talking." Kagome said. "Did you pick a movie?"

"Miroku's putting it in right now." Inuyasha said. They all walked downstairs and settled in front of the TV. Sango sat on the couch. Kagome was laying down on her back and Inuyasha laid his head on her stomach.

"What are we watching?" Kagome asked.

"Ringu." Inuyasha said.

"That movie is supposed to be scary." Sango said.

"That's why I haven't watched it yet." Kagome said.

"Same here." Sango said.

"Well we're watching it now." Miroku said. Both of the girls whimpered and Miroku played the movie. He sat down and wrapped his arms around Sango.

By the time the movie was over the girls were huddled up to the guys and had their faces covered. "Let me get this straight. You can fight youkai but you can't watch a scary movie." Inuyasha said.

"It's different." Kagome said. Some time during the movie Kagome screamed and flipped their positions so Kagome's face was buried in his chest while still laying on the floor.

"How?" Inuyasha asked lifting her chin.

"It-it just is." Kagome said and buried her face again.

"What about you Sango?" Miroku asked.

"I don't know it's just creepy." Sango replied.

"Well how about we go out to eat then? To calm your nerves." Miroku suggested.

"I don't want to, it'll be dark by the time we get done eating." Sango said. (So she's OOC)

"We'll hurry then. You'll probably forget about the movie anyway." Inuyasha said.

"Didn't you fill yourselves up with the snacks?" Kagome asked.

"Nope still hungry." Inuyasha said.

"Fine we'll go." Kagome said. Her and Sango grabbed their coats. "Lets go."

After walking to a restaurant and ordering their food they sat down. "So how did Saturday go?" Miroku asked.

"What do you mean?" Inuyasha asked. He couldn't have figured out what he and Kagome did. He hadn't told him or anything. `Lecher probably has a six sense about it.' He thought.

"Saturday you were supposed to take Souta and Shippo anywhere they wanted." Miroku said.

"They had to go to their aunt's house." Inuyasha said.

"My mom went on a business trip." Kagome said.

"Oh really so what did you guys do?" Miroku asked.

"Nothing." Inuyasha said.

Miroku wanted to say something but the bet with Sango wouldn't allow it. He wasn't going to lose to her. The prize was too good. "Well what should we do after we eat?" He asked.

"It's getting late so I'm going to take Kagome home after this." Inuyasha said. He was going to get what Kagome owed him.

"But Sango and I want to talk. We haven't talked in a long time." Kagome pouted.

"Yeah we can split up and you guys can meet us somewhere in a couple of hours." Sango said.

"Let's meet back at this restaurant in two hours." Kagome said.

"Hey wait we didn't agree to that." Inuyasha said.

"Let them do it Inuyasha. Making them mad won't help us at all." Miroku said. Sango was even scarier when she was really mad.

Inuyasha growled. "Fine we'll meet in two hours after we've eaten. Don't be late."

"We won't." Sango said.

They all finished their meals and separated afterwards. Kagome and Sango decided to go to the mall. Sango needed new shoes and Kagome needed a new shirt. "So when is that bet with Miroku over?" Kagome asked looking through the shirts.

"At the end of the week." Sango said.

"I bet he's dying for a grope." Kagome said.

"I never should've made that bet with him." Sango groaned.

"You should've thought of that before you shook hands with him. I wonder what he's going to make you do?" Kagome giggled.

"Knowing Miroku it'll be something you and Inuyasha have already done." Sango smiled. Kagome stopped laughing.

"You're evil you know that?" Kagome said.

"So are you." Sango said. "Just be glad I don't tease you about it."

"Well let's get the shopping done so the guys can't whine about us being late." Kagome said.

"Hai." Sango said. "You know now that you're mated with Inuyasha what's Kouga and Naraku going to do?"

"I don't know. I never thought about that before. Do you think they'll do something?" Kagome asked.

"I think that's something you might want to ask Inuyasha." Sango said.

"Do you know what his reaction will be? He'll probably tear up my room." Kagome said.

"Maybe you should just wait until tomorrow and find out." Sango said. Kagome nodded.

They paid for their things and headed back to the restaurant. They didn't have anything else to do so they thought they would wait for the guys back at the restaurant. The guys still had an hour until they had to meet them.

They walked into the restaurant and ordered something to drink. Inuyasha and Miroku were at the restaurant. "Your early." Inuyasha said.

"We got done with what we needed to do early." Kagome said taking a sip of her drink.

"Let's go then." Inuyasha said. He grabbed Kagome's arm and dragged her away from Miroku and Sango.

"Miroku left his car at my house so they'll have to come with us." Kagome said.

He stopped. "Hurry your asses up." He yelled. Miroku and Sango ran to catch up with Inuyasha.

They all walked to Kagome's house. It was pretty late and had already started getting dark. "Bye Sango, Miroku I'll see you in school tomorrow." Kagome said.

"Bye Kagome." Sango and Miroku said in unison.

As soon as the door was shut Inuyasha grabbed Kagome and threw her over his shoulder. He ran up to her room in seconds. Kagome was holding onto his shirt afraid of falling. He threw her on the bed. Then he jumped on her straddling her hips.

"You don't waist a second do you?" Kagome said.

"Time like this is rare with all the crazy people living in your house." Inuyasha said.

"You mean my family? They're not crazy." Kagome said.

"Yes they are." Inuyasha said. He ripped her shirt off.

"Hey you could've ruined that shirt." Kagome yelled.

"Who cares? You talk to much." Inuyasha said. His lips were over hers to silence her. He slipped her skirt off and went to take care of her underwear.

Suddenly Kagome shot up. "I forgot to meditate again."

Inuyasha pushed her back down on the bed. "You can do it afterwards."

"I'll be too tired by then." Kagome whined.

"Do it tomorrow then." Inuyasha said. Once again he pressed his lips against hers. Kagome was going to push him off and do it anyway but lost all thought when he bit her neck.

Inuyasha smirked when he heard a moan escape from her lips. Mating marks were supposed to be sensitive. He removed her bra and underwear. He moved next to her ear and whispered, "You said you'd make it up to me. I'm going to make you go through with it."

Kagome shivered and let out a silent moan when his mouth closed over her breast. Her hands went to his ears. She rubbed the base of his ear. She shivered again when she heard his growl vibrate through his chest.

Inuyasha sat up and removed his shirt and pants as quickly as he could. His need for her was almost painful. Rubbing his ears only made him harder. He straddled her waist again and leaned down toward her ear. "I went easy on you earlier because you were sore. This time I'm not holding anything back." He said in a husky voice. He licked her ear and sat up.

Kagome thought he was going to enter her but was surprised when he flipped her so she was on her hands and knees. She was about to ask what he was doing but didn't have a chance as he entered her from behind.

She was so surprised she would've fell forward if Inuyasha hadn't caught her. When she got over her shock and was able to hold herself up he thrusted into her. Kagome moaned as he kissed her back.

Kagome never thought of doing it in this position. She should've expected it Inuyasha was part dog demon.

She realized that in this position she still felt as if she was in paradise. The pleasure was almost too much for her to handle.

Inuyasha couldn't help it. He needed release. He just hoped he wouldn't hurt her. His hands went to her waist to pick up the pace. Kagome threw her head back and screamed. As soon as he felt her inner muscles clamp down on him he was thrown over the edge.

Inuyasha wrapped his arm around Kagome's waist and laid down on the bed. They both laid still while catching their breath.

Inuyasha kissed the back of Kagome's neck before pulling the blanket up around them. "Oyasumi mate." He said.

"Oyasumi." Kagome mumbled before falling asleep. Inuyasha yawned and kissed her neck again before joining her in sleep.

Just to let you know Ringu is the Japanese version of the Ring. The Japanese came out with it first. I wanted the fic to have a more Japanese feel to it since they're in Japan. But since I don't know much about Japan I try my best.

I've been asked to put more Sesshomaru and Rin in this fic. I would do that but I can't remember if I've already mentioned them in this fic. So if you could make it easier for me can you tell me if I've already added them or not. It would be so much easier than going through my chapters. Arigato.
