Kagome shook as her phone rang. She picked it up. “Hello…?”

“Ahh, Kagome. I'll see you in a few minutes…” The person hung up.

 

 

Kagome shook furiously in fear. She tried to hide, but failed miserably when the door opened and Sesshomaru stepped through.

 

Sesshomaru walked over to her. “I hacked your computer. It seems that one of my business associates is trying to scare-” Sesshomaru couldn't finish his sentence. A man who looked curiously like Naraku had hit him over the head and knocked him out.

 

The man smirked again. He kneeled next to Kagome and said in the same voice as on the phone, “Let the games begin…”

Sesshomaru regained consciousness after a few hours. He noticed the scent of Kagome's tears overpower everything else. He groaned and got to his feet before looking at the clock. Three in the morning…

 

Sesshomaru made his way to Kagome's room to see her unconscious. He also smelt her blood and knew the full story. He sighed and hugged her, running a hand through his hair and looking at it. There was crimson. And no doubt there was a lot of dried blood in his hair.

 

Kagome was unconscious. Sesshomaru sighed deeply. Next time…I'll be more careful…This is the third time she was injured because of my carelessness…And it will be the last.
