-Oh and although I wish otherwise, I do not own Inuyasha or any other characters but I do own Akiko, Aneko, Aiya and older Shippo.

"We're here." Shippo said looking up at the small well house. The three girls had run all the way there and were exhausted. Aneko was trying to cover up how tired she was but you could tell she was by her deep breathing she was trying to steady. Akiko however was bent down with her hands on her knees breathing as hard as she could. Aiya wasn't that tired because she was carried most of the way.

They looked at the old well house. Aneko laughed a little. "This is the place where the portal to the feudal era is kept? In a little old shack!" Aneko chuckled.

"Surprisingly, yes." Shippo answered. "Are we going to gawk or are we going to go in? Come on." Shippo said walking into the well house. The three girls followed. The inside of the well house was not only dark it was creepy too, like the kind of place where a horror scene would take place. As the four walked in the floor creaked under their feet causing Aiya to jump up and hide behind Akiko.

"God. Is it creepy or what?" Aneko said looking around the place.

"Well let's get going. We don't want to waste any time." Shippo said slightly annoyed.

"Fine then. I'll go first." Aneko offered. She walked down the steps cautiously and stood in front of the well. She looked down the well and gulped at how dark it was.

"Well here it goes." Aneko said jumping down into the well. A purplish blue colored light surrounded her as she was falling. She dropped to the bottom, landing on her feet. She jumped out and looked at her surroundings. It was just as Kagome described, a clearing surrounded by large trees and bushes. The grass was very unruly and in her opinion needed mowing. She heard a loud `oomph' and she turned around and looked down the well. She saw Akiko on her butt with Aiya in her arms; she had a painful look on her face.

"You idiot." Aneko called down the well. Akiko scowled up at her.

"You try and jump down a well with a little girl in your arms!" Akiko yelled at her. She jumped out of the well carrying Aiya. Akiko looked around, as did Aiya. "Wow." Aiya and Akiko said in unison.

"Hey. Where's Shippo?" Aneko asked looking around.

"Right here." Shippo called from the bottom of the well. He hopped out and smiled at his familiar surroundings.

"Okay there's no time to waste. We'll split up to try and find them. Shippo you go with Aiya and go that way, Akiko and me will go together and go this way. Okay?" Aneko ordered. She loved ordering people around like that. It was in her nature.

"Okay." Shippo agreed picking up Aiya and putting her on his back. Aiya blushed, still uncomfortable around Shippo. He ran off in the direction Aneko told him to go leaving Akiko and Aneko by themselves.

"Let's go." Aneko ordered her sister. She ran off in the direction she said she was going to go. Akiko reluctantly followed her.

Meanwhile…

"INUYASHA!!!" Kagome shouted as Kagura hit him with a full on blow of her dance of the dragon attack. The attack left Inuyasha limp on the ground with a deep gash across his chest. Kagura saw this and smirked with satisfaction. Inuyasha got up slowly wincing at the pain. He raised his sword once again and Kagura laughed.

"Look at yourself! You still try to fight when you can barely stand up!" Kagura laughed again. She sent another attack at him knocking the tetsusaiga out of his hands and sending it flying out of his reach. Kagura quickly hit him with another attack knocking him to the ground again.

"Now I will kill your wench just so you can hear her scream." Kagura said. Miroku and Sango were in the same state as Inuyasha so they couldn't protect her either. Kagura sent an attack straight at Kagome.

"KAGOME!!" Inuyasha yelled extending an arm toward her.

Back to Aneko and Akiko…

Akiko and Aneko where running through the forest looking for Kagome and Inuyasha when they came to another clearing. This clearing was more of a battlefield than just a clearing in a forest. There was no grass but instead plain dirt ground. The area was about 5 acres of land then led to another forest on the other side. There was a strong smell of blood in the air that got Akiko and Aneko worried. They went a little ways more and were met with an awful sight. A demon woman with black hair tied up in a bun with feathers and beads in her hair was attacking a hanyou man with long silver hair with dog-ears on top of his head. Blood covered the ground where they were fighting. A monk and a demon slayer were lying on the ground unconscious next to a young girl with a sailor like uniform. The girl looked extremely frightened of the demon. The demon sent an attack at the girl and the hanyou called out the girl's name but neither Akiko nor Aneko were listening, they were too concerned for the girl's safety. Aneko ran as fast as she could to get the girl to safety as Akiko went to stop the demon.

Aneko got the girl out of the way just before the attack struck her. The girl looked shocked to see that Aneko had saved her. Aneko looked down at her and noticed that the girl looked very familiar but she didn't dwell on it for very long before Akiko yelled for her to help. She set the girl down and went to go help her sister.

This is getting annoying…

Kagome and Inuyasha just sat there shocked as the two girls defended them from Kagura. Kagome took this chance to crawl over to Inuyasha.

"Are you hurt?" Kagome asked her words filled with worry.

"Who are they?" Inuyasha asked her ignoring her last question.

They watched as Aneko took out her gun and shot Kagura in the arm. Kagura looked down at her arm in shock.

"What kind of witch craft is this?!" Kagura yelled angry at the fact that these two young girls were actually able to hit her. Kagura calmed down and plucked a feather from her hair and transformed it into a large feather and got on it.

As she was flying away she yelled down to Inuyasha, "You got lucky this time Inuyasha!" with that said she flew off.

"Good riddance!" Aneko yelled after her. Both girls turned around to face the hanyou and the young girl they had saved.

"Oh God! Are you okay?!" Akiko said rushing to their side. Inuyasha, despite his injuries, jumped into fighting stance.

"Who the hell are you!" Inuyasha growled trying to sound as frightening as he could be with a gash across his chest.

"Forgive us for not introducing ourselves. I am Akiko and this is my twin sister Aneko." Akiko said sweetly.

"We're looking for some people by the names of Inuyasha and Kagome. Have you seen them?" Aneko asked rudely.

Inuyasha growled again making Kagome give him a glare. He saw this and put his sword back in its sheath.

"What do you want with us?" Inuyasha muttered angrily. Akiko and Aneko looked shocked then they turned from shocked to rolling on the ground in laughter.

This made Inuyasha extremely angry. But unfortunately for him he had barely enough strength to stand and couldn't act on his anger. Kagome however was both angry and had plenty of energy to act on it. She balled her fists up at her sides angrily.

"What are you laughing at?!" Kagome yelled at them. Inuyasha was surprised to see Kagome so angry.

Akiko and Aneko just kept on laughing. "You guys (laugh) are (laugh) Inuyasha (laugh) and Kagome (laugh)!" Aneko said between laughs.

"So! What's so funny about that?!" Kagome asked angrily. At first she was glad that they saved her but they were just being mean!

Akiko was the first to regain her composure so she answered her question. "Sorry but compared to the way we normally see you you're tiny!" Akiko said slightly laughing again.

Inuyasha grumbled a little but then played back what she had just said in his mind and gave her an odd look. "What do you mean by `the way we normally see you'?" Inuyasha asked.

Aneko stopped laughing and hit her sister over the head. "You stupid idiot! We weren't supposed to tell them yet! Remember?" Aneko scolded.

Akiko put her index finger on her chin as she tried to recall the memory.

(Flash back)

Everyone was heading off to the well after being told the whole story and suddenly Shippo stopped them.

"Now before we get there I want to tell you all that when we get there I don't want you to immediately tell them that we are from the future. I want us all to be sitting down with them to tell them everything. Okay?" Shippo explained.

"Got it!"

(End flash back)

"Oh yeah!" Akiko answered dumbly. Aneko hit her over the head again.

"Tell us what?" Kagome asked forgetting how angry she was at them at the moment.

"We'll discuss it after we get you all treated. You all look pretty beat up." Akiko said going over to Sango and picked her up and put her on her back. (AN: Too many hers in that sentence: P)

"I agree. We'd better get Shippo though." Aneko said doing the same to Miroku.

Kagome gave an odd look at Aneko. "How do you people know Shippo?"

Both twins looked at each other. "I didn't know she met Shippo in this time period." Aneko commented.

"Me neither." Akiko answered.

"You didn't answer my question and what do you mean `in this time period'!" Kagome yelled at them suddenly angry with them again. She was mostly angry because she was frustrated at them for not explaining what was happening.

"We'll explain it all in good time but right now let's get everyone some treatment before they bleed to death." Akiko said walking off with Sango.

"Come." Aneko ordered.

Kagome turned to Inuyasha and put his arm around her to help him to balance. "Should we trust them?" Kagome asked him. He looked at the two girls and looked back at Kagome.

"Yes."

Shippo and Aiya's P.O.V

They were walking through the forest in silence. Shippo cutting away a path for them as they went. Aiya was walking with her head up at the clear blue sky. It was a beautiful sight, there wasn't a cloud in the sky and there were no airplanes to ruin the moment. Aiya just admired it. Shippo stopped to look at the girl. It was hard to admit to himself that she was his sister. He had originally had a real mother and father and then they died. He thought that he would never have a real family again and then Kagome and Inuyasha came along and look at him now, he has three adoptive sisters along with two loving adoptive parents.

He smiled at Aiya as he thought of this. Aiya blushed and looked away.

She was EXTREAMLY shy towards Shippo. Aiya was naturally shy to everyone besides her parents and two sisters. It would take a while to get used to him just like everyone else. She only had one official friend who was also secretly hanyou but demon hunters killed her a couple weeks ago. Aiya had cried for a while but she was kind of used to it because a lot of her old friends were killed also. And every single one of those friends had to go through the `shy stage'.

Shippo stopped and his face turned serious. "Someone's coming."

Aiya immediately took out her bow and arrow. Her hands were shaky with fear; which made the bow and arrow wobble.

"Y-you S-sure?" Aiya asked shakily.

"Yup." Shippo nodded.

Aiya gulped.

If I have to do this one more time I'm going to scream.

Anyway, back with Akiko, Aneko and everyone else…

"Someone is here." Aneko said and growled. She laid Miroku down, took out her twin swords, and took a fighting stance. Inuyasha attempted to do the same but his wound hurt too much so he just kept supporting himself on Kagome.

Akiko sniffed. She caught a familiar scent of vanilla ice cream and another one that was vaguely familiar; it smelled of a forest just after it had rained. Realization got to her and she remembered the only two people who had those scents.

"Wait! It's Aiya and Shippo!" Akiko said running off in that direction. She disappeared into the bushes. Aneko picked up Miroku and followed. "You coming or what?" Aneko called back to Inuyasha and Kagome.

They went through the bushes and found two other people they weren't familiar with, a girl and a boy around the age of 7 and 25. The girl was completely unfamiliar but the man seemed strangely familiar.

"Who the hell are you two?" Inuyasha said weakly.

"As I said, this is Aiya…" Akiko said pointing at Aiya. "…and Shippo."

"W-what?" Kagome asked completely confused. Inuyasha groaned and squeezed his eyes shut in pain.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome cried to him.

Aneko snorted. "Stop being such a drama queen. He's just unconscious."

Aiya stepped forward and growled at Aneko. "Stop being so mean to mommy!"

"Mommy?" Kagome asked.

"We need to get him treatment and after everyone is conscious then we will explain. Shippo carry Kagome and lead us to Kaede's hut." Aneko ordered.

"What about Inuyasha?" Kagome asked giving the group a pleading look.

Akiko smiled. "How about this, I'll carry Inuyasha and Shippo can carry both you and the demon slayer on his back. Is that okay with you, Kagome, Shippo?"

"Okay." Both answered.

Everyone did as they were told and headed off toward Kaede's hut. The trip was very quiet aside from the occasional groans from Inuyasha, Sango or Miroku.

Kagome had so many questions whirling around in her head it was making her dizzy. Like, Who are these people, Why are they dressed like they are from my time period, and Why did the little girl call me mommy? But she was naturally a patient person so she waited for her questions to be answered when they got to Kaede's hut.

They finally reached the village in which Kaede lived and decided to walk from there. Shippo let Kagome on her feet gently and smiled. She smiled back and led the group into the village. As soon as they entered the villagers gasped at seeing the four unfamiliar youkai. Aiya jumped behind Akiko to hide herself from all the strange stares. The twins ignored the stares from the villagers and followed Kagome. Shippo did the same.

They reached the hut after a few minutes. It wasn't the largest hut in the world but it was bigger than the rest in the village, the three hanyous assumed she was someone of importance to the village. They walked in and where met with an old lady sitting in front of a fire and a young kit playing with a little toy car. The old lady turned her head and smiled at seeing Kagome then her smile faded when she saw the four strangers carrying the three unconscious members of the group. The kit did the same.

"Oh dear! Kagome what happened and who are they?" Kaede said getting up from her sitting place next to the fire and rushed over to the injured members group.

"There is no time to explain. The two humans are going to die from blood loss if we don't tend to them quickly." Akiko said lying Inuyasha down on the floor.

"Right." Kaede said nodding her head seriously going into a separate room to get blankets out.

"Kagome. What happened to Inuyasha and the others?" little Shippo asked innocently. He came over and hopped on Kagome's shoulder. Kagome ignored him (twilight zone music here… du du du du du du du du) and rushed over to help Kaede get out the blankets and futons.
