(Oh and Ashiki, in response to your question, how Kagome became hanyou will be explained in this chapter. Akiko I'm not to thrilled about either but for some reason I felt obligated to put her in the story (Let's just say she takes after Kagome instead of Inu.) And yes I know that I have possibly the worst grammar in the world (and spelling). But hey, **shrugs** I can't help it. I get C's in English. Lol!)

 

Yet again, although I wish otherwise, I don't own Inuyasha or any of the other characters. Except for the sister's and older Shippo. They're all mine!

“Well? Where's our explanation?” Inuyasha asked rudely. Kagome gave him a look but generally ignored his rudeness. She assumed it was because of his wounds giving him trouble.

 

Aneko growled slightly but stopped and tried to regain her composure for the long story she was about to tell. Akiko looked at her slightly worried. `What if she tells too much and the future gets altered? Oh I hope she knows what she is doing.' She thought.

 

“Okay. First off, I am Aneko Hiragashi first heir to the throne of the western lands. (Gasp from Kagome) This is my twin Akiko Hiragashi, my little sister Aiya Hiragashi and my older brother by adoption Shippo.” Aneko paused at seeing that Kagome was about to have a heart attack along with Shippo. Inuyasha also was a little shocked but waited for the rest of the story eagerly. Aneko saw this was going to be a little harder to explain than she thought.

 

Aneko continued with a serious yet calm look on her face. “At this moment I would like Kaede to leave the room please.” Aneko asked. The sternness in her voice left no room for argument so Kaede did as she was `requested' and left the room.

 

“We are from the year 2005, Kagome's time period and we were sent here by our parents to help you all find the jewel shards and defeat Naraku. Our future is screwed up because we assume that you guys didn't exactly finish the job when you defeated Naraku, so we are here with help to make sure that Naraku is dead for good.” Aneko explained.

 

Inuyasha was still confused and got slightly irritated at Aneko. Kagome was also still confused and shocked. Miroku and Sango didn't seem to understand why Inuyasha and Kagome were reacting so strongly to the information. Shippo was just plain confused.

 

“Who exactly are these parents of yours and how did you know who we were before we even got to telling you?!” Inuyasha asked. Suddenly his irritation turned to anger.

 

“And why do you have my last name?” Kagome asked timidly. She kind of suspected these people of being some kind of crazy stalkers.

 

Older Shippo sighed and stepped forward. “I can explain that.” Shippo said looking at Aneko for a moment. She had a look on her face that clearly said `hey! I wanted to tell the story!' She stomped off to where the others were sitting and pouted. Shippo chuckled and continued.

 

“This might be hard for all of you to take in but… our parents are…”

 

“Just say it already!” Inuyasha burst out.

 

“Inuyasha and Kagome.” Shippo finished.

 

Okay that was all Kagome's conscience could take and she fainted. Inuyasha caught her before her head hit the ground.

 

Aneko stood up immediately and got directly in Shippo's face. Her fists were balled up at her sides and her eyes were filled with so much anger it looked as if her eyes were on fire.

 

“Nice going Shippo! You made mom faint you baka!” Aneko yelled at him. He cringed slightly at her tone. Even though he was the older brother Aneko could be very intimidating at times.

 

Akiko and Aiya rushed over to their mother and rushed her to the futon that Inuyasha formerly occupied. Miroku, Sango and younger Shippo were just sitting there unable to move from so much shock. Inuyasha rushed to Kagome's bedside.

 

So many thoughts were rushing around in his head he seriously considered joining Kagome in unconsciousness. `I can't believe it.' He thought. `I get married to Kagome. I've kind of wished it for a while now but I never expected it to come true…'

 

He turned to everyone in the room and pointed a finger to the door. “OUT!” He ordered. Everyone gulped and practically ran out of the room.

 

`Wow, I wonder what his problem is.' Akiko thought as she too dashed out of the room.

 

Once they were all out and Inuyasha slammed the door shut behind them Miroku, Sango and Shippo all flooded the others with questions.

 

“Wow! Do Inuyasha and Kagome really get married?!” Shippo asked bouncing around in excitement.

 

Miroku smiled to himself. “I never knew the old dog had it in him.”

 

“I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! I knew they would get together eventually!” Sango bragged.

 

Akiko, Aneko, Aiya and Shippo just stood there and took the questions that came to them.

 

Miroku tapped his finger on his chin in wonder. “But if you all are demons and Inuyasha and Kagome are your parents, wouldn't you three be mostly human with a small amount of demon in your blood? It doesn't exactly fit.” He asked. Sango and younger Shippo nodded in agreement.

 

“First off, we are not demons we are hanyous and we would appreciate it if you didn't confuse us with them. And in the future Kagome is a hanyou like Inuyasha so therefore we are hanyous also.” Akiko explained. Sango tilted her head in confusion.

 

“How did Kagome become hanyou? It's not possible is it?” Sango asked.

 

Akiko and Aneko were about to answer but then thought for a moment and realized that they didn't exactly know the answer to that question. So they looked to older Shippo for help.

 

“Um… Shippo do you got an answer cause uh… we don't exactly know how mom became hanyou.” Aneko asked kind of embarrassed that they didn't know enough about their own mother to answer a simple question like that.

 

Shippo thought for a second and snapped his fingers as he remembered what happened.

 

“Kagome asked the jewel if she could be with Inuyasha forever and I guess the jewel interpreted the request as her asking to become hanyou.” Shippo responded.

 

Akiko and Aiya clasped their hands together and squealed a little and said in kind of dreamy voices, “How romantic!” Aiya might have looked to be around 9-10 but she still had the mind of a girl and most girls love mushy gushy love stories.

 

Aneko on the other hand was not like most girls and gave a disgusted look at Shippo. Younger Shippo did the same.

 

“So…uh… you're me?” Shippo asked his older self.

 

“Yup.” Shippo nodded.

 

“Oh yes! That reminds me…” Aneko said taking her camera out and taking a snapshot of the younger Shippo, then smirked. She pinched the older Shippo's cheeks in a teasing manner. “I forgot to mention how cute you are as a little kid Shippo!” She said in a cute little baby voice. Meanwhile little Shippo was extremely dizzy from the flash and was walking around in circles till he finally fell to the ground.

 

“Are you okay Shippo?” Aiya asked holding out a hand to help him up. Shippo looked at her offered hand and took it gladly. “Thank you.”

 

Aiya smiled. “Don't mention it.”

 

(AN: For any of you critics who wondered what was the point of that last scene, it was to show the friendship between Shippo and Aiya. Now back to the story.)

 

“Anyway… what do you think dad is doing in there?” Aiya asked looking over to the hut.
