“I see that Jaken was not lying that there was demons and human in my land. Chiyo there was no need to threaten Jaken to get info of where I was. As for Inuyasha why are you here?” Sesshoumaru asked.

 

“You bastard, I am going with her and she agreed to help with the jewel hunt, it dose not matter to you.” Inuyasha said.

 

“Inuyasha, if I had the command of the beads your face would be in the rock in front of you. Be nice for a change.” Chiyo said to him.

 

Sesshoumaru arched his eyebrow at that remark but said nothing nonetheless.

 

“Sorry, for that Sesshoumaru.” Kagome said.

 

“I want to see home for a while is it all right to go to it by your permission?” Chiyo asked the older of the two siblings.

 

“You can, but not the humans or the half-breed.” The Lord of the west said.

 

“Uh, no. that will not do. He is just as much as part of these land as you are, He has that right to see home. As for the human's well they are his friends and Kagome is a Miko she cannot be out in the wilds here there are way too many demons that would want to get the jewel. On my word and honor that they will do no harm or make any trouble while in your home. Inuyasha will be calm and will not make a remark about you or anything else.” Chiyo said to the demon.

 

“Fat chance of that H...” He got out.

 

“Sit boy.” Was heard and he was on the ground.

 

“Damn it. Stop doing that.” He said.

 

“Inuyasha, behave all right.” Kagome said.

 

“That was interesting, but I will let them pass and go with you on your honor that they will not do anything that will make them leave.” Sesshoumaru said to his aunt.

 

“Ok, Fine then lead the way.” Chiyo said to him as he turned and started to walk away.

 

It was half way to the palace when Inuyasha looked over to his aunt. “Why am I being nice to this jackass?” He asked.

 

“For you to get to know him better and for away for me to see if he can let up on you. Be sides it is no fun just being nice all the time I do have to tease him every one in a while.” She said as a smile creped on her face. Walking faster now to come up to him.

 

“So I see that you are still an ass about things. But what is this human child being your ward are you going soft on me nephew?” Chiyo asked.

 

He looked at her if he was going to hit her for that. “That is something that is none of your business. Let me ask you something. Why is it that you come back now? Are you not trying to challenge me for the palace and the lands?” He asked.

 

“To be perfectly honest with you. Yes, granted I love these lands, I grew up here, but for me to manage them, as you will there is no doubt that you do a better job of it. So no I am not challenging you.” Chiyo said back to him.

 

“Hmm, well why have you come and with the half-breed and his human friends then?” He asked.

 

“Sesshoumaru, show some respect. I have come cause I truly want to see home. And maybe tease the oldest nephew of mine until he gives up this bull shit face that he dose not care in what happens to his younger brother. But I expect to talk about that when we got to the home site.” Chiyo said to him as a smile creped on his features.

 

“All ways getting to the point. Yes, we will talk about that when we get there. That is about three-hour walk from here. I was wondering all through the family scroll that has been no mating between you and what ever you was to be mated with?” He asked.

 

“Hmm, I can ask you this, why have you not mated yet?” She asked.

 

He did not answer to that question. He kept walking to his home with the ragtag band be hind him.

 

“Lord Sesshoumaru, where is Jaken?” Rin asked.

 

“He will be by shortly Rin; this is my aunt Chiyohana might as well get to know her. Cause she is like a human she will not go away.” He said to his human ward.

 

“I have read about her from the family books that you let me read from. That her name has triple meaning.” Rin said happily and bowed to the demon.

 

“Lady Chiyohana, It is nice to meet you.” Rin said.

 

“Thank you Rin, I hope to get to know you better my self. But you do not have to call me lady Chiyo will do just fine.” Chiyo said to the girl who she bowed to as well.

 

“So the great Lord of the West has a soft spot for the child?” Chiyo just could not resist the jest.

 

He grunted as they closed ground to the gates that lead to the palace front doors. It was quiet and very unnerving.

 

“Lord Sesshoumaru, You brought the ungrateful humans and your half-breed brother back to the home?” Jaken said way out of order.

 

For that course of action, the Lord himself kicked the little demon in the head. “Be polite, at lest to my aunt Jaken.” He said as he escorted them into the home.

 

“This place has not changed in years.” Chiyo said to herself.

 

“Pandora, Please see our guest to their rooms.” He said to the tall slender demon that was coming their way.

 

“Chiyohana, it is so nice to see you again. After all these years you come back.” Pandora said to the woman that was reaching to give a hug to the tall woman.

 

“Pan, Pan, I was hoping you would still be in service here.” Chiyo said.

 

There was some questioning glances at the two women and that was until Kagome asked. “You know her?”

 

“Yes and so dose the brothers. She was our Nursery nanny for many of years.” Chiyo as the group got going into the direction of the rooms.

 

As they went, many of the older demons that was in-service to the Great Dog demon came out and said the gratefulness that she was back from her travels. Just as that was, done Shippou and Rin ran past them and into the garden to play.

 

“That is good for her to have some one to play with she has been very lonely here with out some one around her age.” Pan said to Chiyo.

They were escorted to their rooms. The men Miroku and Inuyasha, Shippou was in a room together as Kagome and Sango was in their own. Pan lead them down a little ways and opened the door that was Chiyo's while she was there.

 

“He never changed things around in your room kept it like it was the day you left. I think he was kind of sad to see you go.” Pan said to her.

 

“He sure in the hell has a way of showing it.” Chiyo said and the other must have caught on cause the looks she was getting from them.

 

“You do not mean that jackass of a brother?” Inuyasha said as Chiyo let them in to have a look around.

 

“Inuyasha, I thought I taught you a little bit of manors while you were here. Looks like I have to teach you some more while you are here.” Pan said to Inuyasha as his face blushed. The others were trying not to laugh.

 

There was a nock on the door, Chiyo went to open it. “The Lord says dinner will be served in a couple of minuets and he request all of you to join. Then he wants you Lady Chiyohana to come to the study so you guys can talk.” The runner said and then left.

 

They followed Pan to the dinner hall and sat down on either side. It was at least thirty minuets until he showed up with Rin and a few other demons. A few recognized her and waved to her as she waved back.

 

“The first course shall we.” He said as the plates arrived and they all dig in. It was a quiet affair with hardly any one talking just eating and drinking.

 

“Chiyo, why are you back any way?” He asked at the last of the dinner was being served.

 

“Sessy that I will talk to you about later all right?” Chiyo said to him.

 

“Sessy? What is that all about?” Inuyasha asked as his smirk was trying to turn into a grin.

 

“That was my nickname form him when he was just a pup and some what growing up. God knows I was getting heat from your father every time I would say that.” She said as she started to laugh.

 

“Glad, I did not have one.” Inuyasha said.

 

“But you did and it was Yaya.” She said that almost brought the roof down from laughter.

 

“That is not funny.” Inuyasha said in a hurt tone.

 

“I know, but it is so hard to resist. I am sorry; I will not bring it up.” Chiyo said.

 

Dinner was done and the rest was escorted back their rooms to do what ever. Bathing etc. Chiyo left to go to the study, when she got there he was sitting on a chair and watching her.

 

“What is it that you want Sesshoumaru?” Chiyo asked as she took the chair in front of him.

 

“I want to know, why have you come back and that your smell is like the one from the Miko?” He asked.

 

“I have told you that I wanted to see home. Have you heard about her?” Chiyo said.

 

“I know she helps my baka brother with the shards but as for where she comes from I have heard that she is from the future.” He said.

 

“That is true, she dose and I came back from there as well. I truly wanted to see home.” Chiyo said as she watched his face.

 

“Well that puts a different light on things.” He said.

 

“Sess, why did you want to talk to me? I have been reading your expressions and even that is hard to do there is something wrong when you look at your brother.” Chiyo said.

 

“There are something that I would like to patch up with him. I know I have treated him wrong in the past and I have tried to kill him. He has grown in power and that is something that I cannot deny to him. I want him to know that yes I could have killed him many times before. I was doing my part to make him tough and be a worthy opponent for what is out there.” He said to her.

 

“I knew it had to be something like that. Ok why have you not mated yet?” She asked.

 

“I have not found the right one to do so.” He stated back.

 

“I am tired and I want a bath. However, I am going to say this. Don't let your brother slip away again tell him how you feel and why you did what you did. Then get your self a mate. Get laid once in a while you just might feel better in the end.” She said and got up from the chair and left a very perplex Full demon at her words.
