Truths, and the Darkling is unleashed

 

Chiyo went to her room to get undressed for the hot bath that was waiting. Grabbing the robe on the way out, standing at the edge of the bath, she got undressed and slipped into the hot water. Sesshoumaru watched all of this from the dark corner of the room.

 

“I know that you are there nephew, if you are here to talk some more I want it to wait until tomorrow.” She said with out turning around.

 

“But I am the Lord and I say we will talk until I am done.” He said as he got undressed and slipped into the water him self.

 

“Lord, do you not know that it is not nice to walk into a room that a woman is bathing in.” Chiyo said as she tried to get out of the bath.

 

“We are not human, we are Inu, and we do not go by the rules of humans. I have wanted you for a long time.” He said to her.

 

“I am your blood relative, this can not happen.” She said as she tried once more to get out. He pulled her in by her foot.

 

“You are right; I am surprised that father had not tried to claim you as his. This is how we do it; this is how we keep the blood line pure.” He said as he came in closer.

 

Chiyo eyes welled up in tears. “He tried.” She whispered and he stopped moving.

 

“He did?” Sesshoumaru said to her.

 

“Yes, I had to stop him before he could.” Chiyo said.

 

“How did you stop him?” He asked.

 

“That is how he met your mother, she was a friend of mine and I asked her if she wanted to meet him.” Chiyo said with a smile.

 

“That was handy, those doses not stop me. She died giving birth to me. So where did I stop at?” He said as he was inching closer to her.

 

In another part of the castle…

 

“Kagome we need to talk.” Inuyasha asked her as they were making their way to the rooms. He stopped and let the rest go to the rooms. Grabbing her arm to stop her.

 

“About what?” she asked.

 

“About us.” He said.

 

“What about us?” She asked.

 

“Well…This…Is hard to say. In spite, what you think about Kikyo. I do not love her she is dead to me. I only want you. I know we have seen a lot and every time you have gotten hurt or lost. I was in pain until I found you; I am scared that I might lose you. Chiyo pulled me to the side and commanded me to tell how I feel about you. I am not sure how you feel about me. There I have said what was in my heart.” He blurted out.

 

Kagome listen to him in aw and as the tears came down she just knew that if she rejected him it would crush him. “Inuyasha, I don't know what to say, well maybe I do, I love you very much and I want to be your mate.” Her e said in a small whisper.

 

That was all she needed to say to him as he sighed a relief, closed in and gave her a kiss that not only reached their hearts but their soul's as well. She was happy as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a deeper kiss. Picking her up and carrying her to his aunt's room just knowing that she was not going to be in it for a while.

 

“Inuyasha where are we going?” She asked as the door behind them shut tightly.

 

“We are going to bed.” He said as his smile said that there was not going to be sleep going on.

 

In the Bath…

 

Chiyo had pushed Sesshoumaru away for the seventh time “Sesshoumaru why in the hell are you doing this?” She asked as he went down into the water.

 

Coming back up he looked at her and said. “Do you not know? You left, I was in shambles, and I wanted you here by my side.” He said.

 

“I had a feeling that you were. It would have not worked out we are two different. That is the reason that I left, I need to get out so you can have a normal life.” Chiyo whispered.

 

He looked at her with scrutiny “You should not have left. You made me the way I am now. I was going to ask you to be my mate. Considering that your father did that to his aunt.” He said to her.

 

“You have got to be joking.” She said to him with a surprised look.

 

“It is in the family log, so what is the difference. We are only half-and-half. Thanks to your father and the two different mothers.” He said as he came closer to reach her hand. He knew that she was not going to push him away. “I do not joke. I get what I want and that is you.” He reached for her hand, grabbed it pulled her in to him, and gave her a kiss that was like nothing else before.

 

She tightens up and gasped after he was done. Looking out into the end of the bath. “Some one is at the gate coming in. People are hurt and some are dead.” She said to him. Sesshoumaru got out and was dressed in a flash.

Stopping by his room to get the sword he did not pause to think that she was not behind him. Chiyo got out of the bath and put the robe on and she was on her way she stopped by her room and gets hers as well. She did not see the two people on the bed. Running down the hall, she yelled “Intruders, to arms.”

 

Slowing down as she reached the doors that was standing open. It was pitch black slowing walking out she noticed that her father's sword was glowing green.

 

“Who ever you are, you need to leave or face death.” She said.

 

She was greeted of a rush of wind that held a chuckle that carried with it.

 

Blinded by the dark she walked farther into it until she bumped into something that was one the ground. Moving her sword to the object that she walked into she noticed the silver hair and had a hint of blood in it. Walking pass him she yelled. “Show your self.”

 

Once again, she was answered with a laugh and a rush of wind. It was about that time the gang of Inuyasha came top the doors.

 

“I can not see a damn thing.” He said.

 

“I see a faint green glow in the distance.” Kagome said.

 

Chiyo heard every word that was said. “I can hear you, please there is something here that I know but I can not put my finger on it. Your brother is down.” She yelled back.

 

“So like I give a…” Inuyasha started to say.

 

“Inuyasha don't.” Kagome cut in.

 

Rolling her eyes, she felt the presence come closer to her. “I see the princess came home. Shall I show them what a monster you can become. All it would take is one more step or push to get you to transform.” It said.

“No, Kami no.” She thought.

 

“Yes, lets show them what the third meaning of your name.” It said to her as it came in and gave her a hit in the stomach and a slice on her arm.

 

Grunting she spun around trying to face it. It came back at her again and this time it kicked her in the back and slices on her other arm.

 

“Damn he is mocking me, it is a shadow demon.” She thought.

 

“Catch me if you can slow Inu.” It taunted her. It cam around to face her and then around her like wisps of cloud on the wind.

 

Sensing that something was in the fog like wind. She was getting to the point of changing but not yet there.

 

“I see, Just can't get it.” It whispered.

 

“Get what?” She said back that was more primal growl

 

“The Beta Inu speaks. I wonder what would happen if I did kill the human child in this place?” It said.

 

“You would risk death demon of the shadows and underworld. Why would you call me out just to die by my hands?” She said back. Violently she shook as her head came up with a snap as her eyes turned to a darker red as the blood pumped through her giving her the energy. Her hair turned an even darker shade of red, Blood red. Her claws got sharper and longer breathing through her mouth her fangs that was short grew about another inch.

 

“Father please for give me.” She thought as the thing kept going around her taunting her. She pulled the sword closer to her and closed her eyes as to watch it with her mind.

 

Encircling her and taunting her even more as she did not move. Chiyo heard every sound that it made pinging it to a spot where it would meet it's self. She saw her chance, Whipping her arm out she caught it, stopping it in its tracks, holding it by its neck she stared into it.

 

“You will not hurt any one that I hold dear. Stop playing shadow games and fight me face to face. Therefore, I can kill you and you can go back to the shadows that you came from. Let the others go, try to take me down now for you will not get another chance.” Chiyo said to it.

 

It wanted nothing better than to kill this Inu. “Well that is an offer that I can not refuse.”

 

Releasing it from her strangle hold she watched it as it transformed into its human shape. “Inuyasha, take your brother in side. All of you go inside and see if Rin is all right.” She said.

 

“He is coming.” Kagome yelled as a grumbling Hanyou went to get his brother. He turned and left to go inside as the other followed him. Each one of them was watching out the windows. “Come, Shadow lets get this over with.” She said

 

Raising its own sword it ran to her as the evil grin increased on its face as the blade cut her right arm and then went for the back but there was a clang of metal on metal as he sword was there to stop it.

 

“How can you move that fast. In the legend, one was not able to move that fast.” It said.

 

Her own evil smile was the answer as she stepped forward and swung her sword to cut him in the arm, as she did that her other arm came around with the other sword that was not with her when she came out sliced across his chest.

 

“You brought this out so meet your maker.” Chiyo hissed at it.

 

His smile returned as he pulled out a dagger and came at her with a full run not giving her time to react. The dagger plunged into her side missing vital organs but hurt like hell.

Grunting as she twisted away from the dagger, she came around and buried the sword to the hilt. “Damn you Bitch.” It said as it started to die.

 

“That is Queen Bitch to you.” She said as the green light that had surrounded her came and jolted him into ashes.

 

Chiyo slumped on to the ground tired as the darkness was lifting to show that the stars were coming out and the evening air blew gently.

 

Inuyasha was the first one outside and he skidded to stop in front of her. “Chiyo come in side.” He whispered as he helped her up and into the place.

 

“Where is your brother?” She asked.

 

“The healers came and got him.” Kagome said as she came to her side.

 

By that time, the healers came, got her, and took her to her room. Inuyasha had pulled out the dagger that was still in her and looked at it carefully.

 

“This is no ordinary dagger it has poison on it.” He said.

 

“Let me take it back to my time so I might be able to get antidote for it.” Kagome said as her, Miroku, Sango, and kiara went with her.

 

“Sesshoumaru wants to see you Lord Inuyasha. Follow me please.” Said a servant. He did follow it and was knocking on his brother's door.

 

“Come half-breed.” He said as she brother came in. “How is she?”

 

“I am not for sure but there was poison on the dagger and I am sure that the healers will not be able to pin point what it was. Kagome took it and went to her time to see if there was an antidote there. Her and the rest went with her it is just me and Shippou.” Inuyasha said.

 

Sesshoumaru got up and got his robe on he was going to check up on her himself. “I want you to stay here; we have some things to talk about.”

 

It took kagome three hours to get back and when she did, she was running to Chiyo's room only to find Inuyasha was sitting on the outside. Knocking on the door. It opened and Sesshoumaru opened it up.

 

“She has to take this whole bottle now.” Kagome said he nodded and closed the door.

 

“It is going to take a while. So why don't we start up where we left off.” He whispered to her as she smiled and they walked hand in hand to the bedroom.
