A/N: Well, it's finally updated. I don't know who will read it but yup, updated is a good thing. I think I don't know what to write to I'm just rambling now......r/r!
CHAPTER 2: Each option has a consiquence
Kagome colapsed, sitting in front of the well.
'Does he really think I'm more beautiful than Kikyo?' Kagome asked questions like these as she sat in front of the well very distraught.
But most of all she wasn't sure of what she was going to choose. Go back to her friends even if it means seeing Inuyasha, stay in her own time, or go with the one man she thought she loved-'s brother. Wow the choices were so hard to choose from! She thought sarcasticaly. But all jokes aside the choices really were hard to choose from.
If she went back with her friends, Inuyasha would be there with Kikyo or he wouldn't be there at all which would remind Kagome of her broken heart every waking moment that she spent with them.
If she went home for good, her life would seem like nothing and be boring compared to waking up in a different time. Plus she would never see her friends faces again. Alone not seeing Inuyasha's face killed her, even though he hurt her so.
And then there was a choice of going with Sesshomaru.........She wasn't sure what made this choice even enter her choices. If she did go with Sesshomaru....would he betray her and kill her when the shards were found? Or would he uphold his so called honor and "noble blood". He seemed intrigued with her and she seemed intrigued to know what he thought about her. And what if she did go with him and stayed alive by finding the shards, would he ever let her go home like Inuyasha did?
Inuyasha. What would he think of her then? Scrounging around with his older brother Yokia? Doing something for Sesshomaru that she had once done for him? But then she thought, why would she care what Inuyasha thought anyway? He didn't need to know what she was doing anymore. To her, Inuyasha was her past, and nothing more. Maybe she needed to make Sesshomaru her present......and maybe even her future.
She figured, whatever she decided, she didn't need to decide until 2 days from now.
'2 days!!! That's going to kill me! It's going to dance around my head. Once I do decide, I'll have a whole day to change my mind!' The thoughts of this went through her head as she decided to jump down the well and leave everything that had just happened behind.
-----2 DAYS LATER------
Kagome had her decision, even if she wasn't sure about it. She would go back to the Fuedal era and wait for Sesshomaru to come so that she could tell him her descision.
"What will it be?" Sesshomaru snuck up behind a tired Kagome.
"WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SNEEK UP ON ME LIKE THAT?!"
"Answer me woman!"
"Alright, alright,......" Suddenly Kagome wasn't sure of her descision. What if it was the wrong choice?
"Well.........?" Sesshomaru was clearly becoming impashant.
"I've decided to go with you, but please tell me again what I get out of this."
A shudder of relief overlapped Sesshomaru, he had never gave people choices. He always demanded things. In a way.....he was afraid of rejection. But mostly he was afraid of her rejecting him. He wasn't sure why he needed her acceptance so much, Why he needed any human's acceptance for that matter. He snapped out of his silent daze.
"You will have my protection......."
"And?"
"Well let's just say, you will have more than that hanyou brother of mine ever gave you..."
Kagome seemed pleased and flattered even though he thought she was miss-treated by Inuyasha. Many people had told her this before, the more she thought about it. Kouga had told her numerous times, her friends, even her conchens, and now Sesshomaru. Somehow she knew it was true but she didn't really believe it until that day.
**SLIGHT FLASHBACK**
"I love kikyo"
**FLASH BACK OVER**
Inuyasha's face flew in and back out of Kagome's mind. She couldn't bare to see his face or hear his voice for she knew tears would overlap her delicate features if he was near. And she could only imagine seeing him with Kikyo, that would be a disaster all it's own.
"Let's be off then" Sesshomaru told her as he turned on his heel gracefully.
"Where are we going?"
"Were going to my castle to get Rin and Jaken"
"That's all?"
"No. We will get you some 'proper' atire....."
"'Proper atire'?"
"Yes. Clothing that you will where while we aren't at the castle......"
"I know what atire is, but what is 'proper atire' to you"
Sesshomaru didn't bother to answer her question. He just started to walk away. Kagome wasn't sure about her descision...even after it was made. She knew she couldn't change her mind now. Sesshomaru on the other hand wasn't certain whether she made the descision on her own or was threatened that if she said no to him she would be hurt. Either way Kagome had made up her mind and things were sure to work out. Whether it was for the best or the worst........
----MeanWhile----
"How dare you, Inuyasha!"
"What!" Inuyasha and Shippo were yelling at each other.
"Shippo's right" Sango chimed into the already started argument.
"Why are you always taking his side?!"
"Were not, it's just not right to do that to Kagome!" Now Miroku came in.
"Yes you are, you always take Kagome's side!"
"Not ah" Shippo wined.
"Yeah you's do!"
"Even if we do, you are the one who makes us" shippo came back
"How?"
"Your the one who is always wrong or who always does the wrong thing" Sango snapped back.
"We've had fights before"
"Yeah but not this serious" Miroku said.
"How is it any different what we talk about?"
"Talk about, TALK ABOUT, more like yell about....." Sango yelled with hostility in her voice now.
"Same-difference, no matter what we YELL about, it always ends up the same"
"Oh yea and how is that?" Sango asked as she turned her back slightly.
"We yell, she leaves, I go get her, everything is okay"
"Well a person can only be pushed to far" Sango said hoping someone would understand
"Wat ya mean by that?"
"She means a twig can only be bent so much before it brakes" Miroku told.
Inuyasha still seemed very confused.
"What they mean is Kagome might have reached her limit this time" Shippo said knowingly.
"Reached her limit for getting yelled at?"
"NO!" They all yelled together
"Than what?"
"What I meant to say was, this time Kagome might not have been able to take all of this, so she could have left for good" sango said.
Inuyasha suddenly understood but he couldn't let the pain of that being true show. So he held it back as he yelled some more.
"Well who cares, I chose Kikyo anyway."
"YOU WHAT?!" They all spatt at him together.
"I-I......."
"You said you had an argument about Kikyo but you didn't say that's what happened!" Miroku said worried.
"What does it matter now?!"
"Kagome will probably never come back now" Shippo paused "Waaaaaa, I will never see Kagome again!" Shippo cried out sadly.
"You see what you've done!" Sango said as she held shippo
"RAAAEEEEEAAAARRRR!" Kerara roared at Inuyasha angrily as she turned into her larger form.
'What have I done?' Iuyasha thought.
"Inuyasha, I'm back" A voice rang out from behind him in the shadows of the forest.
