Chapter 1: December 22
I don't own inuyasha but i wish i did.......*sigh*
Rated: PG for now, R in later chapters.
Kagome and the gang were spending time in keades village (did i spell that right?). The reason was that they had to heal their wounds from their latest battle w/ Naraku. Miroku went w/ Keade to gather healing herbs, while Sango and Shippo went to use the nearby spring to wash up. Kagome was frantically digging around in her bag looking for her calendar. While Inuyasha was sitting in the tree right next to the hut. After 2 minutes of throwing things, she finally finds the calendar and gasps.
"OH MY GOD!!!!! I have to leave quickly!!!" Yelled Kagome as she put her things back in her bag.
Inuyasha hears this from his tree and hops down softly, and walks into the hut. He has a very pissed off look on his face. He glares at Kagome.
"Why do you have to leave this time? Is it because you have to take a stupid test or is it because of that Hobo guy?" Asks Inuyasha, Angrily.
"NO!! I don't have a test and his name is Hojo!!!" She calms down a little "I have to leave for 4 days to spend christmas w/ my family. I was sopposed to be home this morning. When everyone gets back, tell them I say good bye." Said Kagome
She picks up her bag and walks out of the hut. AS she reached the edge of the village; right by the bridge, Inuyasha lands right infront of her to block her way. He looks her in the eye and growls meancely.
"You are not going anywhere wench." Said a very angry Inuyasha
Kagome just looked at him w/ her sad look then she smiled evily. Inuyasha takes a step back and gulps. He knew what Kagome was going to do to him for using that word on her. And no less her was on a bridge (for those who dont know, kagome has the power to "sit" him whenever he becomes to annoying or just pisses her off. The reason is because she in an ealier episode, put this necklace on him that gives her the power to control him...get it?). He gulped and closed his eyes. He knew he would be taking a mud bath soon.
"Inuyasha.....SITSITSITSITSITSITSITSITSITSITSITSITSIT" Yelled Kagome
Inuyasha ends up taking a mud bath and kagome takes the other bridge out of the village. soon she was walking through the forest and she started to remember how much fun she has w/ the gang. When she reached the gods tree (is that the name of it?) she remembers the day she freed inuyasha from the tree just to save her life from the icky centipeed. She sighs and heads towards the well. Before she jumps in, she looks around one more time and changes into her winter boots, then jumps in and a blue light develpos around her before she lands in her time again. She sighs and climbs out of the well, walks out the door, through the snow, and right up to the front door. Before she opens the front door, she looks beck at the snow and sighs again.
~ Man the snow looks beautiful. I wish Inuyasha was here to see this. I wish Inuyasha wouldn't be so mean to me. If only He knew how much I love him. *sigh* But he loves Kikyo.~ Thought Kagome sadly as she closed the door behind her and stepped out of her wet soggy boots.
"Mom, Souta, gandpa!!!! I'm home!!!" Yelled Kagome Happily.
No one answered her. So she went into the kitchen to find something to eat, she found a note waiting for her by some rally delicious cookies.
Dear Kagome,
We all went to see your aunt Sophie. She is really sick. We will be home in time for Christmas. Just to let you know, I stocked up on some ramen for you and your friends.

Kagome sighs, grabs some cookies before heading up to her room. Once there she sets her things on her bed w/ a plop, and then lands on her bed and looks at the ceiling for a while.
~I wonder if Inuyasha is going to come and drag me back. It was his fault this time, He deservered to be sat. Man, If only he knew how i felt....~ Thought Kagome sadly.
Kagome sighs and decides to get up to take a shower. She gets everything in there and takes one.
~sigh this is sooo much better than the cold springs we find on our paths and there is no perverted monk to watch you bathe nor a overprotected halfdemon. I hope Inuyasha Doesn't decide to come in here again and drag me out. even though it would be funny to see his reaction again. ~ Thought Kagome Hppily.
She just smiles and stares at the tiles on the wall while she listens to the music.

Inuyasha finnaly pulls himself out of the muddy water and on to the ground. He slowly walks back to the hut because he wants to somewhat dry off or else Sango and Keade will have a fit about him being wet. When he reaches the hut, he sees that everyone has returned, except Kagome. He hears talking in the hut. He sneezes a bit and slowly walks into the hut. The talking stops as everyone watches him sit indian style on floor by the fire. Shippo snickers because he is wet. Inuyasha grows and Shippo hides behind Sango. Miroku smiles and clears his throat to say something, but was stopped by Sango's "don't say a word" look. Shippo decides to be brave by walking out from behind Sango's back and saying something.
"Inuyasha? Where is Kagome?" Asks Shippo nicely.
"Feh....The stupid wench went back to her time for some stupid reason. Good reason." Said Inuyasha Angrily
"What did you do this time?" Asks Miroku, Nicely
"Feh....She and I got into another fight about her leaving to her time again and she sat me" Mumbled Inuyasha
"You deserverd it" Yelled Shippo taughtly
"Why you!!" Yelled Inuyasha angrily
He growled and pounced after shippo all around the hut, until Miroku used his staff and tripped inuyasha. Shippo ran and landed into Sango's lap and sticks his tounge out at Inuyasha, who in return does the same.
"Inuyasha? When are you going to appolozige to kagome?" Asked Sango, sweetly
"never...It was her fault this time!!! She started it! Why the fuck should I appolozige to her?" Asks Inuyasha Angrily
"no you got it wrong, you started it you stupid idiot!!!!" Yelled Shippo angrily
Once again the chase began. This time shippo got hurt, and Inuyasha got a headache from Sango hitting him w/ her boomerang.After that Inuyasha just sat by the fire again, looking at the flames. He didn't notice that Keade came in until she tapped him on the shoulder.
"If Lady Kagome had a reason to Leave, then it would have been safer for you if you let her go Inuyasha." Said Keade nicely
"Feh." Said Inuyasha softly
"Maybe you should go appologize to her now inuyasha. She probably has cooled off by now." Said Miroku, nicely
"Feh." Said inuyasha "Leave me alone. She will come back in a couple of days...Like always. In the mean time, I am going to look for more shards." Said Inuyasha
Inuyasha gets up and quietly walks out of the hut and jumps tree to tree. Miroku stands outside of the hut smiling like a mad man.
~good cover up Inuyasha. I know you are going to appologize to kagome. Good luck my friend.~ thought Miroku
Miroku watches Inuyasha leave before heading back to the hut. Inuyasha jumps from tree to tree looking for a garden w/ beautiful flowers to give Kagome as a way for her to forgive him. Finnaly he comes across a patch of the most beautiful roses (it is my story so i say they are roses and besides i cant think of flowers they would have there) and jumps off to the well. When he reaches the well, he stops, takes a deep breath, and jumps right into the other side. He lands w/ a thump and sniffs around and notices that Kagome's scent is old. He climbs out of the well, opens the door to the shrine, and jumps from tree to tree and then tries to land safely on Kagome's roof. He then opens the window to her room and looks around before getting in. He uses his cute ears to hears where Kagome is and he hears her in the bathroom because their is music playing and she is singing along. Inuyasha sighs (happens alot don't it) as he pulls out the roses from his fire-rat coat and walks to her bed.
~thankgoddness the roses didn't wilt. I hope Kagome Likes these and forgives me. I wish she knew how much I love her. If only I can stop calling her names and fighting w/ her all the time (fat chance inuyasha). *sigh*~ thought Inuyasha Sadly
Inuyasha walks to the bed and sets the roses gently on the bed. He looks around again and smiles.
~I am going to surprise her by being in the closet sand see her face when she sees those~ Thought inuyasha
He quietly walks to the closet, opens the door, steps in and closes it behind him.

Kagome fades in from her wonderful daydream after she hears a loud thump on the roof.
~*sigh* I betcha that is Inuyasha. I guess he is here to take me back to his era.~ thought Kagome sadly
Kagome waits for inuyasha to come in and drag her out of the tub, but it doesn't happen. Kagome washes up quickly and gets out of the tub. She puts on her blue pajamas and walks into her room.
~I could hav sworn i turned out that light and closed that window.~thought Kagome
Kagome walks to the window and closes it then walks back into the bathroom to gather her things. Inuyasha in the mean time is hearing all of this from the closet. He decides to open the door a crack so he can see her reaction and remark to the roses on her bed. Kagome comes back in and sets her player down on the dresser then heads to the bed. when she gets there she gasps at seeing 3 roses waiting for her on the bed. She plops right next to the roses, picks them up and smiles wide.
~Are these roses real? Or am i dreaming?~ thought Kagome happily
Kagome stares at the rosesand sighs before hopping into bed. She turns out the lights and falls asleep instantly. Inuyasha sighs quietly and watches over her for a couple of hours before closing the door and sleeping.

Hope you all like the first chapter. The second chapter is going to go up a little on the rating scale. Basically there are going to be at least 4 chapters of this story. I started chapter 2 already but chapter 3 and 4 are going to have to wait till possibly this summer. but i hope u like what i have soo far..please review.............
