chapter 5

I dont own inuyasha.
Miroku inches forward and pulls out a knife. Kagome screams and tries to move from the tree, but still cant. Yura just stands there with a huge grin on her face. Kagome screams much louder.
Inuyasha dodges evry blow Sango tries to give him with her boomerang. sango finally gets tired and pulls out a exposive device that NAraku gave her. She throws it at inuyasha and it explodes. Sango stands upright to see if Inuyasha is dea. But Inuyasha walks out from the smoke, unharmed. He smirks and pulls out his sword.
"I dont want to do this Sango. Please wake up. I dont want to hurt you." Yelled Inuyasha
Sango just grabes her boomerang again and charges after him. Inuyasha runs up into the trees and hids.
"there is no way to stop her. She is going to kill me soon if i dont get away from her" Wispears Inuyasha.
Sango throws her boomerang up there and Inuyasha uses his sword to send it back to her. Sango jumps out of the way of her weapon. INuyasha's ears perked up as she heard Kagome scream.
'Oh no. I must go help her, but how?' Thought Inuyasha.
He hears Kagome scream again. He jumps down from the tree and runs past Sango to go after her. But Sango pulls out a whip and traps him. The Whip puts deep cuts into his skin and the whip happens to be posiones, so inuyasha slows down and starts to get ill. Sango slowly walks up to him with her boomerang high abover her head. Inuyasha closes his eyes waiting for death. But it never came. Inuyasha opens his eyes to see an arrows in her body. Sango falls to the ground. Inuyasha looks around and comes face to face with Kikyou. Kikyou puts sown her bow and stares at inuyasha. Inuyasha slowly gets up and tears the whip off of him. He winces in pain. He looks back at kikyou and was about to say something when he heard KAgome scream again. He looks one last time at kikyou, then leaps into the trees to Kagome. He reached the spot and saw Miroku getting ready to Stab Kagome. He was about to leap in to save her untill her got caught in Yura hair trap.
'Damnit.' Thought Inuyasha
Kikyou watches him leave. She sighs and looks at the dead body of Sango. She jumps down from the tree, walks over to her and grabs her soul and the shard that was put into her head. She then turns towards the west to Naraku's castle.
Miroku puts the knife right by her right arm and slices it open. KAgome gasps in pain. Miroku goes to the left side and does the same. Kagome looks around for Inuyasha and she sees him tied up by hair. He looks at her and then his head falls forward. Kagome gasps and starts to cry. Yura comes up to her and slaps her on the face.
"See here Kagome. I have won. You should be joining inuyasha in hell soon. Good bye Kagome." Said Yura.
Miroku was just about to put the knife in her heart, when she was sliced in half. Kagome looks up to see inuyasha standing before her. He uses his claws to release her and he turns to Yura.
'But how? I saw him go limp.' Thought Kagome
Yura was backing away. Inuyasha saw this and he used his sword to kill her off. She dissapeared like dust in the wind. What came of her was the almost completed jewel shard. Kagome walks up to it and purified it. Then walks over to Miroku and gets the shard from him. She looks at Miroku and starts to cry. Inuyasha walks up to her and gives her a hug.
"Why inuyasha? Why did we have to kill them?" ASks Kagome
"Because they would have killed us and forever be under Naraku's curse. We couldn't help it. All we can do now is dig graves for them and give them proper barials." Said Inuyasha.
"We shall avenge their deaths. I wont rest till Naraku is dead." Said Kagome
"Kagome!!! Inuyasha!!!" Yelled a small voice.
They turned around to see shippo run towards them. Shippo jumps into Kagome's arms and hugs her. Shippo starts to cry.
"Oh i thought you two were dead. What happened to Miroku and Sango?" ASks Shippo
"Oh shippo. They were under Naraku's spell and we had to kill them. SO now they rest in peace. " Said KAgome
Shippo cries harder and Kagome rocks him back and forward to get him to calm down. Inuyasha looks at them both and sighs. He puts Kagome on his back and walks back to the village. There they gave shippo to Keade and told her not take shippo to certain spots of the forest untill Miroku and Sango get buried. They then went to the well and back into Kagome's house. There Inuyasha and Kagome go into her room and they cry untill they fall asleep.
