Chapter 2: All in A Days Work


The scene in the condo was one of pure and total disaster. Some peices of furniture were tipped over, garbage was spilling out trash cans and onto the ground. And there was a pile of unwrapped presents on the table a mile high. On the couch laid a slightly pale skind girl with ebony locks. Another girl with chocolate brown hair was asleep on the floor, a bottle of tequile in her hand.


Kagome rolled over on the couch, her heeled foot hanging over the edge. "Ok that's it! Wake up sleeping beauties! We got work to do today!" came a loud shreak, two shreiks actually. "Shut up, Lele and Cece!" Kagome heard Sango yell in a sleepy reply. 'Oww...my head....is pounding...' she thought as she rolled back over, pushing her face into the couch cushions. "Sleep....need more....sleep." Kagome said as she sunggled deeper into the couch.



"Kagome, you especially have to get up, there's a job for you to do!" Cece yelled as she walked into the kitchen, all of the stainless steel appliances gleaming in the light. 'No...just a few more hours...and a bottle of painkillers.' she thought as she relunctantly sat up. As much as she didn't want to, she knew she had to get the day started.



"Look at this mess!" Kagome exlaimed when she'd open her eyes. There were streamers from the walls every where, empty cups and alchohol bottles. Even the ashtrays that they had set up were knocked over, their contents spilled all over the polished wooden floor. "Those bastards! Couldn't even clean up after themselves." Kagome mutterered as she slowly stood up. She'd, obviously, had passed out after partying hardying all night on the couch. "Ow, my feet." she moaned out in pain as she slumped back down on the couch. 'Maybe I went a little overboard...' she thought as she rubbed her face.




"Here, let me get that for you." suddenly came Mizuki's voice from behind her as she pulled her back onto he couch from behind. Then she walked over and slowly unzipped Kagome's boots taking them off then taking her small feet into her hands as she began her menunstrations. "Oh wow. Becareful Mizuki, I just might fall for you." Kagome sighed out jokingly in relaxation as she meassaged the kinks and cramps out of her feet. 'And I'm never sleeping in heels again!' she thought as she listened to Mizuki laugh. "Oh, I count on it." Mizkuki smiled up at her, her longh air tickiling Kagome's leg.


After pulling her foot from Mizuki's grip Kagome stood and stretched. "Sorry to disappoint you, but I got to go get ready. An assasins gotta do what an assasins gotta do." she chirped as she gave Mizuki a hug then made her way upstairs, yawning loudly as she went. "That Kagome...I swear..." Mizuki trailed off, chuckling as she went into the kitchen.




A Couple of Hours (LOTS of cleaning) Later.....



Kagome walked into the bathroom, her short white towel wrapped around her as she turned the water on and adjusted it to the perfect temparture. She poured bubbles bath in the water and watched the bubbles spread as the tub slowly filled up. Then she put a couple of bath crystals in too. 'A girl has to get a little relaxation sometime...even if she is going to kill someone afterwards.' she thought as she undid the towel and slipped into the water. After relaxing for a good half an hour she began to bathe. First washing herself then her hair.



She dunked under the water as she washed the conditioner out then popped up to the surface, tilting her head back and sighing in pure bliss as she sat in the warm water. Suddenly the door burst open and Rin came in, digital camera in hand as she pointed it at Kagome. 'I KNEW she was going to do this today.' Kagome smirked in amusement as she watched Rin get closer.



"Rin-chan! What are you doing in here?" Kagome said, saying her name the way she hated it with a wide smile. "Oh, I just came to document my boss lady's finest moments. Hence, when you're relaxing in the tub...now if I could get the 'money shot' it would be just perfect." Rin said as she ran the camera up and down Kagome's body, which was hidden by the bubbles. "So you want to test my skill?" Kagome said, opening her mouth and letting her tinkling laugh feel the room. "And of course mine." Rin said then placed the camera in her mouth as it still was aimed at Kagome and she assumed fighting position. "C'mon, hit me with your best shot." Rin said past the camera, eager and determined. "Okaaay, since you asked for it...." Kagome trailed of then kicked her leg up, kncoking the camera from Rin's mouth and into the air.




Kagome watched as Rin put her foot on the edge of the tub then pushed off, flipping high into the air as she caught the camera and landed one one foot on the lid of the toilet. "Hm, touche." was all Kagome said and pulled the curtain around the tub to hide her body from the prying lens of the camera then stood from the tub and wrapped her towel around her faster than the blink of an eye. "Hmph!" Rin said with a smirk as she replaced the camera in her mouth than streaked off towards Kagome. She grabbed Kagome's towel as Kagome span around out of it as she kicked Rin's legs out from under her, making her land in the water getting her soaking wet and the towel fly up in the air. "Ha!" Kagome said catching and fixing her towel as she patted Rin's head when it broke the surface. "Watch yourself Rin." Kagome said as she left. "Why?" Rin asked curiously as she sat in the tub, wipping the water from her face. "You just may be catching up." she smiled in return as Rin's face curled into a wide grin. "Really?!" she exclaimed excitedly and Kaogme nodded. "For real." she said then left the bathroom.




Kagome hummed happily as she combed out her hair in her bedroom. It was still damp and Kagome didn't really feel like blow drying it. So she figured she would wear it curly, for once. After brushing it into a high ponytail she slipped on a red matching bra and underwear set. 'What to wear...what to wear...what to-AHA!' she thought as she shuffled through her closet. Choosing on an all black outfit that made her look more like a ninja than an assasin. She slipped on the black tights and black tanktop. Then she slipped on her black boots and jacket and headed into the lab to see what todays agenda was...








IN THE LAB....








"His name is Otani Matsura. He's the owner of a multibillion dollar company, and is also known on the blackmarket too." Aymae told her as she sat at a keyboard hooked up to one of the many screens on the walls of the circular room. "So, all I have to do is 86 him?" Kagome asked as she went through a file of his history in buisness and rep sheet, which was clean, not a suprise. "Yep, and it'll be easier since you're snipping him...no contact with him is necesarry." Sango informed, her head peice on as she started up the Elite system. "Whoa...I get to use the big guns!" Kagome said as Mizuki handed her snipers rifle case. It was eqiupped with a scope that had heat sensor on it.



Kagome opened it and put it together, she smiled as she held it up and pointed it towards the front door, looking through the scope just as someone knocked on the door. "Who could that be?" Ayame said as everyone quieted down. Kagome looked over at the screen for the camera's outside of the house and saw men in black suits quickly surrounding the place. "Looks like we have some visitors...they don't look nice though." Sango said as Kaogme nodded in agreement. "That's because they aren't here for pleasantries...their here for our blood." Kagome said as she felt her hips, her two pistols were still there and so was the extra one hidden at the small of her back. And with that said everyone was set into battle mode, espeically Rin who had been itchin for some action.



"I'll answer the door, but just be prepared for some fighting. Maybe a little gun fire." Rin said to them. "Don't worry, we got your back." Lele said as she handed Cece a pistol. Rin nodded then walked to the door. "Hi, how may I help you?" Rin asked innocently as she pinned two men with her widest smile. "Are you a resident here?" Kagome heard the man ask, his voice deep as it reverberated through the living room. "I may be, why?" Rin replied, catching the man behind him reaching into his jacket.



"Argh!" Rin yelled as she brought her leg up and kicked the man in front so hard that he flew back into the second one and they both landed in the bush, almost as if on cue all the windows in the living room broke as about thirty or so men jumped in, guns drawn.

"Wow, the whole calvary came down to see us girls." Kagome said as she entered the living room with all the other girls, the men in black suits surrouding them completely. The room tensed as they all judged who would make the first move. "Damn right we did." a man spoke up. "Yeah, but too bad they're all gonna die." Sango said with a sigh. "Yeah, that is a pity." Lele and Cece said, pulling off the unison thing again. The room was silent a few more moments. "Ha! It's thirty against seven...I believe you are going to be the ones dying." the same man spoke. "Wow! Why so many men for only seven girls, ne?" Rin giggled, flipping her hair over her shoulder. Then suddenly he yelled as he charged forward his men following him. "Here we go." Kagome heard Ayame mutter as the fighting began.

There were sounds of guns hitting the floor as the girls disarmed men, pistols hitting face, punching and bones breaking as everyone had taken on an opponet, or five. Kagome had snapped so many necks she was beginning to lose count. She heard a few shots of gun fire but didn't panic, much, knowing that her girls had everything under control. "Kagome!" she heard Mizuki yell out and turned around, a man was point a gun straight at her head. Kagome smirked then pointed up to the ceiling, 'Idiot!' she thought when he looked up. She pulled out her own gun and shot him in the chest. "Thanks." she said to Mizuki as the man slumped to the floor, then turned and kicked a man in the chest then punched him twice in the face, making him fly back and land on the coffee table. "Damn! I just bought that!" she heard Sango scream angrily. She chuckled watching the rest of the girls fight, they'd all learned a lot in the years they've been together. "Kyah!" Kagome grunted as she jumped in the air, doing a split as she kicked two men in their chins, knocking one towards Sango and the other to Rin.

Kagome gasped as she landed, panting from the pace of fighting. Suddenly someone slammed their hand across Kagome's mouth, pulling her into the empty hallway. 'Shit!' she thought as she tried to break free from the grip. "Shhh! Don't scream, or I won't kill you....yet." she heard a man whisper. 'Screw that!' she thought as she took hold of his hand and twisted is wrist painfully, then flipped him over her and onto the ground. She smirked as she stepped her heeled foot on his chest, pulling out her gun and aimed it right at his face. "Who the fuck are you?" Kagome snarled out, cocking the gun to show she meant buisness. "What does it matter?" the man said wincing when Kagome dug her heel in deeper.

Kagome chuckled as if he amused her then punched him in the face with her other hand, effectivley busting his nose and splitting his lip as blood ran down his face. "Alright, alright.....I'm Kai. And I was sent here to kill you." Kai said as he winced in pain. 'A little pain is the perfect truth serum.' she thought as she resisted the urge to punch him again.

"Who sent you?" Kagome hissed out. "Otani. He knew that someone ordered you to kill him buth e wanted to get to you before you got to him." Kai said as he panted, his broken nose was making it difficult to breath let alone speak. "Thanks...you've been very helpful." she said gracing him with a smile before she pulled the trigger, as he died she closed her eyes, actually muttering a soft prayer for his soul to rest a peace. A first for her. 'Hmph, maybe I'm actually starting to feel guilty. Maybe...' she thought to herself as she returned her gun to it's hiding place.

"Kagome! Are you-Ohhh....we thought they had kidnapped you." Kagome heard Cece from behind her as the patter of running footsteps met her ears. She turned around, taking her foot off of the dead man on the floor. "Nope, some idiot thought he could get me alone." Kagome said with a sigh. "Too bad...he was kinda cute." Ayame said as she glanced over at him. "I guess..." Kagome said as she walked into the living room. "You have weird taste." Lele said to Ayame making her laugh.


She sighed as she looked around at all the dead bodies in her living room. "Guess we should call the janitor, huh?" Sango asked as she put an arm around Kagome's shoulders. Kagome nodded as she looked at the remains of the coffee table. "Oh, sorry about your table." Kagome giggled recieving a punch in the arm from Sango. "Yeah right, everyone knows you hated it." Sango pouted, knowing Kagome wasn't sad to see it go. "Hate, is such a strong word. More like, strong, strong, very strong, dislike." Kagome laughed as she wipped a streak of blood off of Sango's jaw, knowing it was not her own.

Th e girls had cleaned up their combo and went over the plan for the hit they had to do today. Wondering if it was safe to go or not considering Otani already knew about the hit.



"Are you sure you don't want me to handle this? That bastard tried to kill us!" Rin said punching her fist into her other hand as Kagome stood in the computer lab. Cece and Sango sitting at computers, Mizuki chuckled at Rin's eagerness, cleaning the rifle and making sure the silencer was in place. "No, Rin. You're not ready." Kagome said gently, running her hand through Rin's hair when she sighed and pouted. "Why?!" Rin whined, crossing her arms. "Because, I don't want anything to happen to you. Lots of things can go wrong." Kagome stated. "Then why are you going?" Rin snapped back suddenly and ugly snarl on her face. 'What has gotten into her?' Kagome thought to herself, her eyebrows rising into her hairline.


"Cause I've been doing this for almost seven years, I've seen things that'll make you scream at night. Now I suggest you check yourself, I'm only doing this for your own good." Kagome said, attitude in her voice letting it be known that the conversation was over. Rin bit the inside of her cheek, her cheeks turning red in anger. "Uh-oh...I think she's gonna blow." Lele whistled lowly as Mizuki handed her the rifle and she took it apart, putting it in the case.



"Shut up! I'm getting tired of being treated like a little kid! I'm not a child anymore!" Rin shouted. All was silent in the lab as Rin they listen to her rant. "I've been watching you guys go out on missions, and hits and everything while I'm here with the computers. Hell, even Sango and Cece go somtimes. What about me,huh?" Rin said, her voice shakeing with anger.



Kagome's eyes were hard, although the emotion that was raging in her heart was anything but. How could she tell Rin that she didn't want her to end up like her? A serial killer with permanent blood on her hands. Even if it was blood of cruel and heartless men and women, they still had souls(dark ones). If it were up to Kagome, Rin never would've gotten involved in the assasins buisness. But of course, fate had plans for all of them. And the men that killed Rin's parents weren't helping the matter either.



"You are not ready. Once you can beat me in a fight, then you're ready." Kagome said crossing her arms as she stared Rin right in the airs, ignoring the gasp that flew from her lips. "But that'll never happen!" Rin exclaimed, no one in the house could beat Kagome in a fight. Street or martial arts, Kagome could kick ass, simple as that. "Exactly. So, when do I head out?" Kagome asked turning to Cece and Sango. "Um, in about three hours. The party doesn't start until then." Cece answered.




"Do you want us to come for back up?" Ayame asked, walking into the lab with a hotpink apron on. "Sure." Kagome answered with a nod, eyeing the apron. "What's with the get up?" Mizuki chuckled, winking at her. Ayame rolled her eyes, "I'm cooking dinner. An assain runs on her stomach right?" Ayame chirped, smiling with closed eyes. "An assasin that's killing that is." Rin snorted, a frown on her face. "Look, let's take a break and, uh Rin....I don't know if you believe me, but this if for your own good." Kagome said softly, the compassion coming through her eyes as she placed a hand on Rin's shoulder. "Are you coming down for dinner?" Mizuki asked Rin and she shook her head in reply. "I'm gonna hack into the hotel system now, get a feel for the layout." Rin sulked, flopping down in one of the wheelie chairs. Mizuki shrugged at Kagome her eyes saying, 'Well, we tried all we could.' then they all filed out of the room, leaving Rin to her work.



All the girls walked down stairs laughing and talking amongst themselves. It was so weird at times like this. How normal things felt. They felt like ordinary girls. Like they weren't either hunting or hiding (from) someone. Some were like Kagome, seeking revenge for their family of themselves. Or were either hoping to kill someone before they found them.



They walked into the kitchen and froze when they saw a tall man standing by the stove, stirring with a spoon as if he owned the place. "Hello ladies." he said, his voice pleaseant as his back was to them. "Who the hell are you?" Sango shot out, her lips curled into a frown as the women in the room judged him up, calculating on how fast it would take to KO him. Lele and Cece instantly grabbed hands, instantly recognizing his voice. "Kagome..." they whispered softly anger radiating in their voices, letting her know that this was who they were after, who they hated mostly.



"I believe you have something that belongs to me." the man said as he took a taste tester of the simmering food then placed the wooden spoon on the counter top. "And I believe you should leave, or die. Your choice Ry." Kagome said lazily, as if they were talking about paint color(A/N: Where do I come up with these analogies, man?). "Cece, Lele. If you want your little friends here to live I think you should come with me." Ryo said and turned around, his hand behind his back as he took a step towards them.



He chuckled when all he got in reply was silence. "I take it you have agreed, ne?" he said, stroking his goatee. Kagome unconciously curled her nose when she looked at him. The scar running oblong his face didn't help matters either. His eyes trailed from each of them, staying a few seconds on Lele and Cece before finally landing on Kagome. Suddenly Cece and Lele stepped forwards, going into thier fighting stance. "The only thing we've agreed on his killing your ass, finally." Lele said, her voice strong but cold. "Tell us, what took you so long to come for us?" Cece asked as she and Lele began circling him. The other girls spreading in a circle around them, just in case.



"Well, you are the twin daughters of the genius of Kyoto. Who knows what, abilities, you've inherited from him." he chuckled. "If you mean money, you're never gonna get your hands on it." Cece and Lele suddenly snapped out in unison making his eyebrows rise once. "Ah, I see you two have a strong mental connection. Another thing we'll have to evaluate once we get back to the lab." Ryo said then suddenly swooped in to attack.



Lele and Cece were at both his sides, throwing strong punches at his fists. He held up both arms, blocking them with his forearms as he crossed his arm and hit both of them in the stomach, making them falter back a few steps. "Bastard!" they screamed and ran at him, their long french plaits flying behind them as they did.



Ayame, Mizuki, Sango, and Kagome's eyes were having a little touble keeping up with the pace of their fists and legs. Kickes and punches were thrown, some hit and some missed their mark. Cece and Lele had now gravitated to his front and had both punched him in the chest at the same time, making him fly back and land hard on his back near Mizuki's and Sango's feet. He sat up catching his breath as he wipped the blood from his lips with the back of his hand. "You two have improved a great deal." he said with a smirk, more blood dripping from his lip as he returned to his feet. "Damn right they did bastard, since the last time you attacked them they were only 11!" Ayame snapped suddenly, she just wanted Cece and Lele to kick his ass. "It's ok Sango, it's about to be over." Lele said, brushing her bangs out of her face.





And true to her word Lele ran forward, jumping into the air and kicking him multiple times in the chest in face. He rocked backward with each force of the kick getting closer and closer to the window in the kitchen. She landed with her fists up as the man rocked a few times his eyes dizzy and face bloody as he was still recovering from her attack. "Cece, I need you to handle my lightweight." Lele said and Cece walked forward and punched him in the face then grabbed him and turned him towards the window, holding him from the back of his shirt. "Say hello to God for me...no, better make that Satan since you're going to hell." she snarled then threw him with as much force as she head making him fly through the window and through the air, towards the abyss like revene that was right behind their home.


"Took ya long enough." Mizuki said once they'd turn around, brushing their hands off. Cece and Lele sighed putting their arms around eachother as tears welled in their perwinkle blue eyes. They'd been hiding from and hunting, that man ever since they'd found out he was the cause of their parents deaths. And it seemed, that finally the long fight was over. "So, what now?" they said once they'd pulled apart the girls crowding around them with open arms. "Now...we celebrate. After Otani's dead." Kagome laughed, happy to have a reason to be festive. "Now, we just have to eat dinner, kill a man, then party. Does that sound like a good plan?" Ayame said jokingly making them all laugh. "Yeah, I'm gonna get our plates ready. Call Rin down for dinner." Kagome said as she walked towards the stove, taking a deep breath over the pot as she grabbed a new spoon, stirring it a few times as she threw the one on the counter in the garbage.





Kagome grabbed plates out of the cabinet and began to pile the food onto them. Her movements slowed as she heard muffled screams from upstairs, then the rushing sound of many footsteps. "Kagome!" Sango screamed as she and the girls ran down the stairs. "Rin's gone, and so is the rifle." Mizuki said as they came down the stairs. She stopped what she was doing and turned around. "She's what?!" Kagome exclaimed, dropping a glass plate. Barely noticing when it shattered into millions of peices around her stilleto heeled feet.




FIVE MINUTES LATER.....





Kagome drove through the city, breaking the speed limit and not caring if she got pulled over. "How could I have left her alone in there?! And with the gun and plans!" she said, slamming her fist into the stering wheel as she ran a red light, almost causing a collision. "It's not your fault Kagome." came Sango's soothing voice through the ear peice she had in her ear. They all wore one, keeping them all together as if they were in the same car. Which was not the situation.



"I might as well have just told her to go out and do the hit. I just left her a golden opprotunity and she took! Dammit!" Kagome cursed angrily, pressing down harder on the gas she the hotel came into her view. "We're approaching the desitnation now." Cece and Lele said in unison and Kagome nodded, knowing they couldn't see her. "So am I." she said as she pulled into the hotel, her eyes finding Lele and Cece riding into the underground parking lot on their motorcycle. "I'm already in position, if anything happens." Sango said into her mic, hidin from view whereever she was at. "The floor Rin is on is the 32nd. She's in room 42 and is just now enetring." Mizuki said back in the lab at the condo, her fingers flying across the keyboard as she observed all of the screens in the room as they showed differnt angles of the same scene. 'Thank God for Elite technology.' Mizuki thought as she position her headphone ready to direct them at the first sign of trouble.





Kagome entered the hotel and sprinted towards an elevator, Cece and Lele told to wait on the staircase on the same floor. 'That girl...wait until I get my hands on her...' she thought as she stopped the doors from closing at the last minute and stepped on. Instantly her lip curled into a frown as the smell of sweat and musk had filled the elevator. 'Uh...it's called soap and water. Try it sometime.' she through rolling her eyes when the smelly dude next to her had shot her a 'sexy' grin. All it proceeded to do was make her neasuea.



Kagome got off on the floor and headed straight for the room. She look around before lifting her feet and kicking the door in. She smirked when she saw Rin jump from the gun and a mile high from her position at the window. She observed the room. Rin had already cut the the perfect circle in the window and pointed the barel of the sniper rifle out of the window. "Looks, good, but let's check your aim." she said her voice cold, letting Rin know that she was VERY disappointed and angry with her.



Kagome bent over and looked in the scope, "Heh, just as I thought." Kagome said as she looked at the older man they were supposed to kill. He was dancing in a sea of people in a grand suite across the street and knew that Rin was having trouble or she would've pulled the triger a long time before they got there. She made the cross of the scope align with the middle of his forehead, which was amamzing with his pace of dancing, and pulled the trigger. Rin jaw droppe open as she watched him crumble to the floor, a bullet hole in his forehead. "And that. Is how you snipe an extotionist/rapist/murderer." she said describing Otani. "Now, you follow me." she said as Rin pouted and packed up the rifle and stuck it into it's suitcase. "I could've done it." was feeble out as they closed the door behind him.





They met Cece and Lele down at the staircase and exited onto the 31st floor. "Let's wait for this elevator, I don't feel like running down a flight of stairs." Rin said as she pushed the down button. They all threw her looks. "What?" she shrugged innocently. "As punishment we should make you sprint the stairs. And you left right when Ryo had decided to pay us a little visit." Cece said sarcasticly. "Ryo came?! How could I miss that?!" Rin excalimed as if she'd missed her favorite concert or something. "Just like you stole my gun and snuck out of the house to take my assignment." Kagome said with a smile, although her tone didn't convince Rin that she was happy.



When the elevator arrived they stepped inside. Four more people were already inside, three men and a one woman. They pressed the button that took them all the way down to the underground parking lot. For some odd reason, Kagome felt a naggin feeling at the back of her head.



She turned her head to the sided, observing the people quickly out of the corner of her eyes as she flipped her hair. 'Gotta keep up appearances...' she thought boredly as Cece, Lele, and Rin began to whisper and giggled like school girls. Suddenly the woman in the front snapped forward, throwing a punch at Kagome. She ducked and the woman hand flew into the door of the elevator.



"Now, now...we know who you are. And know what you came here to do." the woman said coldly as Cece had pinned her to a wall. Lele and Rin keeping the three men in check also. "Did you see my handi work. Pretty nice right?" she chuckled then all out fighting broke out in the elevator.



'I knew it! It was a trap...at least that bastard is dead.' Kagome thought happily to herself as she kicked one man so hard that he fell unconcious. "One down, three to go." Rin chirped as she slinked her way like a cat around one man and pinned him in a headlock so tight it pressed his pressure point and rendered him helpless as he succumed to the depth of his subconcious. Rin let him slump to the floor as the last two opponest pulled out guns aiming them at Kagome who was obviously the strongest.



She jumped up and did the split in the air, pinning the man and the woman to the walls of the elevator as Cece and Lele kicked their guns from their hands and picked them up. Kagome pulled out her own two guns and aimed them at each person, still suspened in midair as her heels dug into their chests. "Wishing you had of went on with your day right about now, aren't you?" Kagome said breathily as she panted, catching her breath as she cocked the weapons.



They barely noticed when the elevator rang and the doors opened. What they did notice was the the group of people outside that took only one look at them and began screaming at the top of their lungs when they saw them. "Don't just stand there screaming! LEAVE!" Rin shouted, grabbing a gun from Lele and pointing it at the people. They screamed more and didn't need telling twice as they ran as if the devil himself were on their heels.



"It's a trap! You'll never get out of here alive." the woman choked out, her hairpeice falling sideways as she panted. HEr rbeathing difficult due to Kagome heel. "Sorry Kags." Rin said softly. "No problem. There hasn't been a trap that I haven't been able to escape." Kagome said confidently, her tone of voice hiding how she felt inside. The elevator doors slid shut and began moving again. 'Damn!' she cursed in her head, holding down the urge to blame someone as she felt as if she were being backed into a corner and had little to no options left.


"Mizuki, did you hear that?" Lele whispered into her ear peice. "Got it all...I'm running a check in the security system in the parking area..." Mizuki trailed off all of them, except Rin, hearing the sounds of her finers on the keyboards as the elevator continued it's descent down. "It is not looking good you guys, not good at all....there are about a total of thirty to forty men waiting, I guess, for you guys in the parking lot." Mizuki informed. "Forty?!" Kagome exclaimed suddenly, making the man in the woman jump. "Want me to help out?" Mizuki asked. Kagome shook her head, not able to answer as she began to plot in her mind how to get out of this jam. "No, we got it. Well, Kagome's got it." Cece and Lele answered in unison. "OK, just say my name and I'm here." Mizuki said and they nodded. "Over." they said in unison. "We're not on walkie talkies guys." Kagome chuckled as her legs began to slowly feel the burn from keep two people pinned to the. Although it was worth it to see the pain and discomfort on their faces.




"What's going on? What's wrong?" Rin asked worriedly, not liking to looks on Cece, Lele, and Kagome's face. "Look kid, I'm gonna be honest with you." Kagome said turning to Rin, her curky ponytail flinging over her shoulder as she did. "There are about 40 guards outside, waiting for us. Can you handle that?" she asked, the serious tone in her voice not to be taken lightly. Rin nodded as Kagome tossed her a gun. "I hate for you to take someone elses life, but it looks like you'll finally have to. If you want to live." Kagome said her voice saddened slightly.



"What about us?" the man spoke up suddenly, a worried tone in his voice. "Oh don't worry, we're going to take good care of you." Kagome smiled suddenly, her pearly whites beautiful but her eyes deadly as she looked at them. "Won't we?" Kagome said. "Absolutley." Rin, Cece, and Lele spoke in unison. "You guys are going to be an assasins best friend. Human sheilds!" Kagome said scratching the back of her head as if she were almost embarassed to say although they both knew it was an act. "Now listen...this is what we're gonna do..." Kagome said as she began to explain to Rin, Cece, and Lele what the plan was. Or the half cooked idea she called a plan.




'God...if you exist...we're going to need your help to kill a lot of bastards tonight.' Rin prayed as the floor dinged and Kagome jumped down, the elevator had stopped at their floor. The bottom floor. The doors slowly slid open, making the heart rates of the three assasins speed up so fast...that they began to grow sick to their sotmachs......
