Fake smiles, I can never say

That every time you look at me, I want to run away

Run to my time, to my warm bed

Remembering those loving words to her you said

Trembling and ridden with all these tears

Why must I alone bear throughout the years

Tossing and turning alone in my time

knowing good and well that you'll never be mine

Fake laughs, I hope you can't see

That I break inside when you look at me

I want you happy, but what about me?

Is it something I must bear? Why must it be?

Is it a lie? Do I think something fake?

Every time I sleep, I hope never to wake

To see your eyes, brings tears to mine

Knowing all that care and love in there will never for me shine

Alone I weep and carry on

Awakening solemn into the dawn

Alone I cry my silent tears

You will never see my awful fears
