A/N: So…why would InuYasha want to hook his brother up with his friend and vice versa? Well…its all about instincts. Inu wants Kagome to be protective but his inner beast wants to keep her in his pack. So what better way than to make her his sister?

Chapter 2

 

 

 

InuYasha drummed his fingers on the steering wheel as he drove the several hour drive from their college campus to the family flat. Kagome sat in the passenger seat, her head bobbing to the CD player and singing the lyrics softly under her breath. The top of the mustang was down allowing the wind the blow her dark tresses about. Something was on her mind, he could tell. Any other time she would be having her own little rock concert in his car.

 

Kagome was in fact, thinking of the past. While she was packing she came across a lone photograph of her and another girl with piercings. It was from her earlier high school days and the other female was her best friend. Well, female friend. Kagome thought with a side glance to the driving hanyou. She and Sango were inseparable that time they had together, but like all good things it had to come to an end. They somehow lost track of each other throughout the years and now she wondered what had happened to her.

 

“What's got your thong in a twist?” InuYasha asked her over the music. Kagome glared at him.

 

“Have you been pawing through my drawers again?” she demanded. InuYasha blushed before looking back to the road.

 

“Feh, why would I do that?” he asked her.

 

“Cause you're a fucking hentai that's way!” she was tempted to hit him but she didn't want to chance him wrecking. He was a bad enough driver as it was. She reached over and turned off the music. InuYasha glanced over, his amber eyes hidden by his shades. “Why did you want me to come?”

 

“Huh?” he asked her dumbfounded. There were lots of reasons for her to come! She would keep him company from his older half brother who was also bringing a companion from school, he had said so much about her to his father that his family was dying to meet her, and there was that little voice in the back of his head that said he couldn't wait to see how she would react to Sesshomaru.

 

“InuYasha.” Kagome said softly and he knew she was serious if she said his full name.

 

“My family will love you, Kagome.” He said as he turned into the long driveway. He watched as she slouched down in her seat as they approached the large house. He knew Kagome was uncomfortable at other people's houses. Not to mention there was the whole money issue since she came from a fairly poor background. But she was his friend, damn it. He knew his family would like her!

 

It was already dark by the time he stopped the car. The front door slowly creaked open before being thrown completely open. InuYasha barely had enough time to brace himself before he was caught up in a tight embrace. He sputtered against the taller male's chest as he was tossed about.

 

“InuYasha, my pup! Why haven't you been coming home?” the male demanded as he released the poor hanyou and held him out arms length. The male's silvery hair was pulled up high while jagged blue stripes ran across his cheek bones. He was quite the sight.

 

“Feh! I got stuff to do!” he said as he pulled away. He turned and caught sight of Kagome trying to inch away. He huffed and grabbed her up, smirking as she squealed.

 

“You brother arrived hours ago. Everyone has gone to bed, you will have to wait till the morning to see him.” The male continued on, stopping at the sight of the tiny female is his son's arms.

 

“Who said I wanted to see that bastard?” InuYasha grumbled before he pushed Kagome in front of him. “Pops, say `hi' to Kagome. This is my father.”

 

“Uhm…hello?” Kagome said uneasily as she starred up at the tall male. She was caught within golden depths before he released a hearty laugh and scooped her up in his arms. Kagome squealed again.

 

“Ah! So you are the one my youngest keeps talking about. I'm sure that if it wasn't for you he wouldn't still be in school.”

 

“Hey!” InuYasha growled as he tugged their bags from the back. His father laughed again as he put down the small female, watching her tuck her dark hair behind her ear before looking up with her intense sapphire eyes.

 

“You can call me Sugimi…or father.” He linked arms with her and began pulling her towards the house. “I am glad you have finally decided to grace us with your presence.” Kagome just nodded and gave a small smile. She liked Sugimi, he was loud and friendly. Maybe this wasn't such a bad idea.

 

InuYasha huffed at being stuck lugging in the bags. But the sight of his father taking to Kagome warmed him inside. His father accepting Kagome was the final bit to accepting her as pack. Now…on to plotting of other things…

 

 

 

 

 

The room Kagome was given was beautiful and spacious. The only down side, there was no bathroom. Sugimi, or `Father' as he preferred to be called, said the house was many centuries old and he didn't wish to damage the fine structure with adding bathrooms in the rooms. She agreed with him on that since the home was so lovely, she wouldn't want to destroy the history of it either.

 

So now she found herself trudging to the bathroom down the hall to enjoy a morning shower. Usually she preferred hers at night but since they were so late getting in, all she wanted to do was collapse in the big comfortable bed.

 

Turning on the water and setting it to the perfect temperature, scolding hot, she stripped down and leapt in. The steam from the water immediately engulfed the bathroom making it a sauna.

 

 

 

 

 

Sesshomaru stepped from his bedroom, his silver hair only slightly disarrayed as he headed down the hall to the bathroom. A soft female voice drifted through the wooden door as he approached. He arched a brow, wondering when Sango started singing in the shower. He thought nothing of going in to grab his shower bag he left in there last night. The door gave little resistance against the old locks as he stepped in. The intensity of the heat hit him almost causing him to step back. Somebody liked their showers hot.

 

He stepped fully in, his sleeping pants making a soft swishing sound as he reached for the shower bag. Fate must have been cruel that day because for some reason he felt the urge to look up.

 

The figure through the glass shower was not Sango.

 

The water was cut off as a delicately small hand reached out and grabbed the blue towel hanging nearby. His mind didn't register anything after that as the door slid open and a small dark water goddess stepped from the steam. Her dark locks spilled about her shoulders as she loosely clutched the towel to her body.

 

She reached for the clothes folded neatly nearby but his soft movement to leave the bathroom caught her notice. Her head snapped up, her sapphire eyes intense as they snapped to him.

 

“Oh my god!” she reeled back. Her sharp movement caused her to lurch forward, the humidity from the steam making the floor slick. Sesshomaru jerked with her high pitch scream, growling as his ears rung and caught her as she fell. Both plummeted to the floor.

 

 

 

 

 

Sango woke with a start at the sound of Sesshomaru's colorful words. She had never heard the inu speak such things in her life. She jumped from the bed, her mind instantly wanting to know what in the world was going on. She jerked her bedroom door open, rushing to the bathroom were all the ruckus was coming from.

 

A door not far from her was also jerked open, a streak darted before her. She tried to stop herself but she ended up colliding with the figure.

 

“Oh!” she cried out as she was rudely knocked down. The air was pushed from her lungs as the thing she collided into fell on her. Her dark eyes widened as she looked down to see white fuzzy ears twitching.

 

All InuYasha heard was Kagome's cry of outrage before he flew from his room. The next thing he knew, he was in hanyou heaven.

 

“Whomf the hell are youf?” he demanded into the amble bosom.

 

“Get off me!” Sango cried out as she pushed the male from her. She heard a grumble and almost reeled back at the intense amber eyes looking at her. Her eyes wandered across a ruggedly handsome face, disheveled silvery white hair and the cutest pair of puppy ears. This must be Sesshomaru's younger half brother.

 

An almost naked half brother with those boxers.

 

“You fucking hentai!” a female voice screamed. The younger brother sat up straight with a bolt.

 

“Kagome!” he growled out as he lunged for the bathroom. Sango felt her heart drop, of course he would have a girlfriend.

 

Did he say Kagome?

 

 

 

 

 

Kagome found herself sprawled atop the large male in the middle of the bathroom. She blinked in confusion before looking down at him. He scowled at her which caused her to scowl back. A cold breeze brought a shiver to her body and they both looked down.

 

Her towel had slipped down.

 

“You fucking hentai!” she screamed at him before knocking him good. Sesshomaru grunted under her hit, inwardly wondering how such a small female could pack such a powerful punch.

 

“Kagome!” the small delectable female was ripped up from him as Sesshomaru looked to his half brother.

 

“InuYasha.” Sesshomaru said in a tone void of emotion as he slowly stood from the bathroom floor. The small female, Kagome, glared at him from behind his brother and he raised a brow at the sight.

 

“What the hell do you think you're doing, bastard? Can I bring anyone home without you trying to kill them?” he demanded.

 

“Who said I was trying to kill her?” Sesshomaru asked him.

 

“Yeah, Inu.” Kagome poked her friend in the back. “Who said he was trying to kill me? More like molest me! Let me at him!” she lunged forward but InuYasha caught her with a laugh.

 

“Easy Kagome! Maybe you should put some clothes on first?” he watched in amusement as a blush tainted her cheeks before she did a very good impression of a growl.

 

“Fucking hentais…all of you…runs in the family…” she left the bathroom clutching her clothes to her. The two males watched her go in amusement before turning on each other.

 

“You're whore should learn to lock a door better.” Sesshomaru said in a dead pan voice. For some reason, he was jealous of his brother.

 

“Kagome is not my girl! And your little slut should get her eyes checked!” InuYasha snapped.

 

“Sango is not a slut and very far from being anything like it.” Sesshomaru snarled. InuYasha snarled back. The eruption of squeals from the hallway snapped the males from their stare down as they headed towards the noise.

 

“Sango!”

 

“Kagome!”

 

Crying…and sniffles.

 

“Darn it, now you get me all teary.”

 

“Sorry…I didn't mean to…I missed you so much!”

 

More crying.

 

“Damn your boobs got bigger!”

 

“Shut up.”

 

Laughing.

 

“Damn you're short.”

 

“Bite me.” InuYasha and Sesshomaru walked in on the two hysterical females. They were hugging, laughing, and crying.

 

“Kagome, what the fuck?” InuYasha demanded. Kagome glared at the hanyou causing him to flinch.

 

“Why didn't you tell me about Sango?” she hissed at him.

 

“I don't know who the hell she is!” he yelled back at her. Sango laughed.

 

“I know Sesshomaru.” She answered. Kagome looked at her in confusion.

 

“The hentai who walked in on me?” her blue eyes looked confused. Sango's dark eyes widened as she looked at her tall youkai friend.

 

“Pervert.” She said to him. Sesshomaru snorted. “What are you doing here?” she asked Kagome. The little female shrugged.

 

“InuYasha.” She jabbed her thumb towards the hanyou.

 

“Ah…” Sango said. “The one who pawed all over my chest.” Sesshomaru glared at his brother. Kagome waved her hand.

 

“No surprise there, he's flunking his Stats class cause there is this chick that sits next to him and from what I hear…” she winked. Sango stifled a giggle as she watched the hanyou turn as red as his boxers. “What about the hentai?”

 

“Sesshomaru? Nah, he's got a fetish for asses.” Sango said. InuYasha snorted as Sesshomaru squirmed. Kagome tilted her head.

 

“Really? You would think he would go for the chest like Inu…maybe it's because they're half siblings.”

 

“Makes me wonder what Sugimi goes for.” Sango contemplated.

 

“Yeah, though it does make sense…he did grope my ass.” Kagome tapped her chin. “I do wonder about Sugimi…”

 

“To answer your question, Kagome.” Sugimi said from down the hall, an odd look on his face. “I prefer both.” The girls giggled as the inu brothers squirmed in horror over their father. “Would you ladies like to get dressed?” The girls squealed before going to their rooms.

 

“That was awkward.” InuYasha mumbled. His father raised a brow at his two sons.

 

“Usually I would be curious as to one of my guests is standing in the middle of the hallway with nothing but a towel on…” Sugimi said but the twinkle in his eyes told his sons he was highly amused by the situation. “But instead I will lay the rules down right now…you will each treat the other's guest with respect. Understood?”

 

“Yes, father.” The brothers said together before they tossed a glare towards each other. The sounds of doors opening drew Sugimi's attention.

 

“Ladies, come join me for breakfast.” The girls bestowed their father with bright smiles before lopping arms with him. The brothers watched them go but it was Sango's statement that caused them to pause.

 

“You won't believe it Sugimi, but Kagome and I know each other from years back!”
