A/N To anyone who's read my fanfic `Servants Among Kings' I KNOW its been deleted, but I promise the Inuyasha/Kagome fluff will not stop!! I merely thought the way I showed the plot deserved to be shot. I'll be out with the new version as soon as I wrote thirty pages.

Inuyasha never really hated the color white, but he avoided it as much as he could.

It was pure, perfect.

He was always afraid he'd destroy it, the blood he caused would stain the white red.

The color white seemed to be everything, and he wouldn't put it past himself to ruin it.

To ruin everything.

Kagome always loved the color red. It was vivid, lively and was nothing short of the color of life.

But, she was too plain to be such a color. No one wanted the perfect girl to wear red.

That's why she wore timid colors, to show that she was perfect.

The color red, if she wore it, it'd lose all meaning. She wasn't life.

But…both of them thought to themselves in the middle of the night, almost a thousand miles and years apart, perhaps….

They could touch both white and red without ruining the meaning of life.
