Summary: Inuyasha's acting weird around Kagome, and Sesshoumaru 'visits' them more than usual. It was just brushing against her and slight touches from Inuyasha until the Inu brother's do something unforgivable. Running away Kagome slowly forgets about the tragedy and lives in a happy little village when she is forced to see them again. Will she stay away from them forever or will she return?

::Warning:: This is rated for violance and lemon, if you are under age for the rating M please leave. Oh almost forgot about Inu's potty mouth and anybody else I feel like making swear.

On with the story!


Default Chapter: Lust or Love

A sunny day. The brids chirping creating a melodious song. Not one pinch of gray in the white fluffy blanket of clouds. It reminded Kagome of Sesshoumaru's fluffy thing on his shoulder. Following the deer path to their vacated area after taking a glorious bath Kagome felt refreshed and could think clearly. Thinking back to the real reason she took a bath she recollected the parts floating in her mind of the evening events.

Flashback

"Inuyasha, eat your Ramen it's getting cold, I brought your favourite flavor." Kagome tempted the hanyou currently resting in the tree far up.

Opening one eye he stared at Kagome curriously for a moment. She was a woman now, her baby fat had dissolved away uncovering a womanly curvaceous body filled out in all the right areas. Her eyes like deep crystal clear water with the littlest hint of blue mixed in them, an odd eye colour for a human. Hell she wasn't a human, well technically she was but she's a rare one. She's a miko, and a powerful one at that, he could sence incredible spiritual power lingering inside of her. She didn't know it yet and he was glad she didn't. If she did, knowing as stubburn as she is she'll go off trying to master it thinking she was a weak and useless human and he wouldn't be her protector anymore. Inuyasha loved the thrill to protect her, the way she clings on to his body when he carries her away from danger.

Staring at her it seemed like an hour. He took in her full pink lips in a pout and large eyes looking at him eagerly for an answer. Every feature seemed to fit in her face marvelously, even her cute little button nose.
Her raven locks having a blueish glow from the sunlight.

He sighed, she was perfect for him, but how could she every love a half-breed like him. She could go off and mate with a full-fledged male and not someone with tainted blood. She deserved better than him.

He smelled dirt and clay and instantly knew who it was. 'Kikyo.' He whispered in his mind as he stood up.
Jumping down from his high perch, he ran to get out of their clearing.

"Inuyasha! Where are you going? Are you going to eat your Ramen at least?" Kagome asked with concern.

Inuyasha felt guilty, leaving Kagome like this, not even answering her. He sighed. "I'm going to check for demons and guard the area." He mumbled to her, his bangs covering his eyes so Kagome couldn't see if he was telling the truth or not.

"Well that was awkward." Sango commented after she, Miroku, and Kirara his witnessed an interesting event. "He's not acting like himself." She mused to Miroku.

"Hmmm. Inuyasha had a strange look in his eyes as he looked at Kagome, I wonder what is going on between the two." Miroku said to no one in particular with a lercherous grin on his face saying 'I know what your thinking'.

Sango was in deep thought. Maybe Miroku had a point there. Inuyasha looked at Kagome with a mysterious glow in his eyes. She sighed, if they just admit their feelings to each other things won't be confusing for them any more. Then again who was she to talk, you don't know what the other person thinks of you so saying something so dramatic the entire sudden like 'I LOVE YOU! You might only be making a fool of yourself.

Going over that thought again she noticed how much it made sense. You don't admit how you feel because it's always by chance. You could be making your dreams come true or you might be making yourself seem foolish. Maybe it's because your embarrassed to say something so personal to the person their all centered on but her theory still made sence. Though not admiting your feelings can make you seem like a fool to everyone else because it's so obvious to them but blind to the person you love with, the person your trying to show your feelings to.

She glanced at Miroku, why can't she just follow her own advice instead of trying to give other people before she understanded it herself.

Miroku took the chance at Sango's distraction and slowly scooted over for the catch. He froze when she looked at him thinking she knew what his plan was but he caught the dreamy look in her dark chocolate eyes. Slowly inching closer he hesitantly reached when she looked away again. Reaching, reaching, yes! He groped her butt, lightly stroking it. Sango didn't notice it but when she came in concious to the world again she felt something oddly fimiliar...

SLAP!

"Hentai! Will you ever learn!" Sango screamed out the top of her lungs.

"For an instance, I thought you were actually letting me." Miroku said dazed as he gently touched his red hand print on his cheek. It burned but as always, it was worth it!

Kagome caught something glowing white when she was staring at the spot Inuyasha had left. 'Soul Stealers. Kikyo must be here. Why do you have to always go Inuyasha?' The question will never be answered she thought, why ask? She decided to take a bath instead of moaning over the loss of Inuyasha this time, she could think things over about her relationship with him.

Slap! She recognized that sound, Miroku's back to his old tricks again.

"Hentai! Will you ever learn!" She heard Sango scream, Kagome smiled.

Kagome got up and went over to her overly weighted yellow bag and grabbed her bath things. Soap, shampoo, towels, and everything else she needs.

Sango noted that Kagome was about to take a bath. "Kagome can I come or do you need time for yourself?" Sango asked noticing Kagome wasn't in a happy mood that moment.

"No. It's okay Sango, I'll be fine." She said before she slowly ventured over to the hot spring she had seen before they came to their clearing.

"Kagome It's not good to take a bath after you eat." Shippo told her innocently.

"I won't be long Shippo." She reasured before she was out of sight behind the bushes.

Everybody finished their meals a little while after Kagome and Shippo eating Inuyasha's serving, they did their usual things. Miroku 'meditating', Sango polishing her Hirakotsu (An:Sp?) with Kirara watching beside her and keeping an eye on Miroku making sure he wasn't harassing her Mistress. Shippo went back to 'practicing' his fox magic, and trying not to accidently start playing with the illusions instead or get distracted by Miroku's mumbles that he secretly tries to tell him about women.

End of Flashback

And here she is now trying not to mind about what Inuyasha and Kikyo were talking about now, it wasn't her buisness. She walked down the trail she heard a noice in the bushes and shrubbery nearby. Stopping instantly she turned around and took a look. The suns rays were bright and it was sunset. She didn't notice how late she had been, the others might be worried about her.

"Inuyasha?" She nervously asked hoping it's him.

Silently dropping down from the tree above her landing in front with out a sound. He stared at her. She seemed so ripe. She was still turned around as he inhaled her sent. Vanilla and Straberries he stood there getting intoxicated, his eyes started to glow an unnatural colour almost redish purple. She wasn't in heat but how could her scent get a reaction from his member so fast? She just seemed like an apple on a tree just ready and at the peek of being picked as she stood there. Her hair shines so steadily in the moonlight he thought. He saw the place between her neck and shoulder, it was unmarked, he just couldn't leave her alone like this unprotected.

Breathing a great amount of air through his nose getting in the sweet aroma he let it out almost making a rumbling noise in his chest freeing his mind of all the unwanted thoughts.

Kagome heard a growl from behind her. She gasped loud and frightfully. She stiffened so hard she put a stuffed animal to shame. Hesitantly turning around she caught silver hair, gold eyes and triangular ears. She relaxed visibly and smile sightly.

“What the tell are you doing here bitch?!” Inuyasha practically screamed in her face.

He saw her soft smile turn viciously upside down and regretted he said that, she seemed to really dislike the name he use to all her the past few weeks. He knew that face, it was like a 6th sense to him now, she was about to say 'ouswari!'

Quickly changing his tone he softened his gaze to a more serious look and said more gently. “C'mon let's go you shouldn't be out here this late.” He said in an almost concerned voice. He turned around and walked ahead to their camp leaving her not looking back to see if she was coming, daring her to follow.
