Come My Way

Sesshomaru sat in his study reading the latest in scrolls he had retrieved from his father's favorite hiding place. As he read, his spine stiffened and a pungent undesirable smell filled his nose. Tears he thought simply. But as he thought more on it. Tears? Standing and discarding the scroll that had captured his attention, he slid open the door and the smell seemed to magnify and raced to his unguarded nostrils.

Following the smell he traced it to its source. He heard her agonized cries and the rustle of her bed sheets. He grit his teeth, trying to decide what to do. Gazing out a window he noticed it had become dark in the short time he was in his study. Finally deciding on what he should do he gently slid open the door to her room. He spied in from the door frame at her sleeping form, twisted and mangled in her bedding. His brow furrowed and he stepped inside hearing her cry out yet again.

Kneeling down he listened to her softly pleaded cries. "Please, wait Sesshomaru-sama. Don't leave me here, not again. Don't let the dark get me." She snuggled into her blankets and herself to try to keep in the most body heat. Sesshomaru sat there dumb founded. "Sesshomaru-sama! No, he's gone. My light is gone. I'm lost, and he'll never come back for me. Not again, like he did before." She whispered to herself as if in thought.

Suddenly she jerked awake and nearly fell into his lap with the force of it. Looking up she squeaked and scrambled backwards off of her futon. "Sesshomaru-sama? Wh-what are you doing here?" she said running her hands over the neck line of her sleeping yukata to make sure she wasn't revealing anything she shouldn't. She bent her head and looked at the floor boards beneath her clothed knees.

"I smelled the salt in your tears and came to discover the reason for them." He said in his usual mono-tone voice. His face was, as always, cold and aloof. Seeing her eyes shining with more tears his eyebrows scrunched together. "Why…Why were you crying Rin?" her head jerked up at his question. Sesshomaru-sama…I didn't think you would care.

"I was dreaming of my family, and how alone I felt. And…" she trailed off, her cheeks painting themselves a deep red.

Surely that's important to be a good person)

"And?"

"And of you." She said quietly, hoping he didn't pry, or worse…Oh no! What if he heard me talking in my sleep!

"What about me?" he said once again in a voice that seemed void of emotion. He seemed neither compelled to leave, or even to stay. She took in a deep breath and pushed it back out quickly.

"I dreamt that you left me, and the darkness consumed me. It was so stifling and hot and it felt like a weight pressing down right here, trying to crush me." She said as she placed her hand over her rapidly beating heart. Sesshomaru's mouth dropped open slightly, but otherwise remained cold. "I'm sorry, to have bothered you Sesshomaru-sama. I'll try not to anymore. You needn't worry about me and my silly dreams." She said a smile on her face and a laugh to her voice.

He nodded and sat completely by the side of her bed. Rin's eyes widened marginally at his actions. She had expected him to leave. To go back to what ever it was he was doing, not sit and stay with her. He began to speak and his deep voice pulled her from her thoughts. "I would always go back for you Rin. You needn't fear the darkness anymore." He said slowly, each syllable even and firm. She nodded and looked at him for a few minutes. "You may go back to sleep Rin. I'll be here. Never worry." She nodded her head once and laid down on her side.

She shifted for a few minutes and found it hard to sleep. Her heart was pounding and head was swimming. He was in her room, in the middle of the night, watching and protecting her so she could sleep soundly. Finally gathering enough nerve she sat up and faced him her eyes averted to the ground. "I-It would be much more…settling…if Sesshomaru-sama would lie down next to me." Her cheeks painted themselves a deep red. He only nodded once as his response and then waited as she settled herself before he laid down next to her. The way she positioned herself made it hard for him to comfortable lay next to her without touching or holding her close to him. It wasn't that she repulsed him, far from it. He knew she was no longer a child, that she had gown up in more than one way. She had grown to be a full woman before his very eyes and he hadn't even noticed. He felt a pang of something, what was it? Regret. He regretted something. The question was what. Shrugging he pushed the thought to the back of his mind and carefully set his hand on her hip, a more comfortable position for him. Her cheeks burned a bright scarlet as she looked at his hand, innocently resting on her body. Her eyes grew heavy and she shifted closer to him, feeling warmed from his body heat. It wasn't long before she found herself in a dream once again.

When Rin had rolled in closer to him, Sesshomaru moved his arm under her head, cushioning it and also getting into a more comfortable position. Why is it I still feel so uncomfortable? He shifted closer and heard her sigh his name.

Calling out.

Can you hear me? Yeah

She placed her hand over his heart, clenching her fingers in the soft silk of his haori. She squeaked out a scared helpless sound. "The darkness. No Sesshomaru-sama. Onegai. Don't leave me again, never again. Onegai." She whimpered as she tugged on his clothing. His eyes became half lidded in a type of sadness, and without thinking he curled his arms around her holding her close and taking in her scent.

"Never Rin. I'll never leave you again." He said into her ear. He felt her arms slide around him and looked to her face. Her eyes were open and awake, but still seemed dilated and scared as she registered what was happening. "You don't have to fear anymore Rin. I'll never let you go." Seeing her face clear as she realized the situation she was in, he tightened his arms around her, holding her closer still. This feels…comfortable. I feel complete and happy with her, like this. He placed a kiss to the base of her throat and then trailed them to the spot below her ear. He smirked as he heard her breath catch in her throat. Her hands timorously slid through the long sliver strands of hair on his head.

"Sesshomaru-sama?" she questioned breathlessly. She wanted to make sure he knew exactly what he was doing.

"Hai Rin?"

"Do you…are…is this what you want?" she said timidly, knowing it was a lame question. Her master was always sure. He smiled, a rare beautiful smile for her and then slowly leaned down to capture her lips in his. He barely whispered a `hai' and again closed his mouth on hers. His arms tightened on her, crushing her form to his. She leaned into his kiss. She gasped when she felt his tongue swipe against the flesh of her lower lip. Taking the opportunity he slid his tongue in deepening the kiss. It was a long breathless minute before he parted from her bruised, swollen lips. He looked down proudly on his work and then shot his gaze to her eyes. Her eyes were half lidded, her cheeks red with excitement. Gently he slid his clawed hand from her back to the knot at her waist. Tugging the fabric, it came lose in his hand and he tossed it over her shoulder to the awaiting darkness. Shifting a bit, he settled her beneath him, settling his hands at her shoulders. Gently he caressed the skin over her shoulder and down her arm, taking the silky fabric of her sleeping yukata his him. She pulled her arms from the sleeves and settled them around his shoulders. She hid her face in the crook of his neck, just holding him close to her.

"Rin?" he questioned, his voice raw and unmasked. Slowly and tentatively she looked up at his face. Seeing the question within his golden orbs she nodded her assent placed a timid kiss to the side of his mouth. Readjusting his position his kissed her fully. He fought back a growl when he felt her delicate hands at the ties of his clothing. Deftly she unfastened the pieces of fabric and slid the cloth from his heated skin. Her cheeks flamed scarlet but she continued to explore. She slid her hands up his chest and down his well muscled arms. He settled himself between her upraised legs, and looked her in the eyes. "I'm going to mate with you Rin. It will hurt, but I won't stop…I can't." he gaspingly supplied when her ankles locked around his hips. She nodded her understanding. Wanting to prolong the moment, and mainly just stalling the time for her pain, he bent and captured one of her pink crested nipples in his mouth. Lightly he drew upon it. He began a slow plunge, hoping to have her mind focus on the pleasure he was giving, rather than the pain about to be endured. She moaned lightly and threaded her fingers into his soft, silvery hair.

"Hai. Master," she whispered. "So good."

"No Rin." He said sternly. My name…say it. Please. She snapped her mouth shut, afraid she had upset him. He smiled lightly and placed a feather-light kiss to her chin. "My name." he said in a barely audible whisper. Her features relaxed and she lightly traced the magenta marks on his cheeks while she looked in his eyes. He sunk in a bit farther and then once again drew her breast into his mouth.

"Sesshomaru. Haaaiii. S-so good. Onegai." She leaned down and kissed the blue crescent moon on his forehead. He suddenly froze above her. She pinned a questioning look at him. Taking her hands in his he settled squarely over her. She took a deep breath and looked him straight in the eyes. There was something there…that wasn't there only moments before. Is that an apology? she didn't have time to voice her question as his hips rammed into her causing her to gaps and cry out. He again froze and strained not to move above her. Her eyes swam with unshed tears. She wouldn't let them fall, this was what she wanted, had wanted for a long time. She wouldn't bother him with her silly tears. Sniffling a few times she waited for the pain to recede. It wasn't long before she was left with only the raw sensations of him being fully buried between her legs. Giving his hands a quick squeeze she sought out his eyes. They had darkened somewhat. She smiled slightly and waited for him to move within her. He had waited, tried to be gentle, and then had been patient. He knew it would hurt her, and he knew he would have to wait for her to adjust, but the waiting nearly drove him insane. He felt his control slip down several notches once he had fully sheathed himself within her warmth. When she had squeezed his hands he thought he had imagined it. He looked into her eyes and saw so many emotions within them it made his heart swell. Licking his suddenly dry lips he gently leaned down and captured her own, moving ever so slightly within her to test for discomfort. She only gasped with pleasure. "Onegai Sesshomaru-sama. Onegai." She cried out breathlessly. He nodded and pulled from within her, then pushed back. Her legs clenched around his hips. "So good. Faster." She begged. His hips sped up and she writhed beneath him. "Hai. Hai." She cried out. Waves of pleasure cascaded through her body and it felt as if the air in her lungs froze. Taking a deep breath she felt her body relax and become almost languid. Sesshomaru nearly ripped himself apart when he felt her climax around him, giving one last push he released himself. Collapsing roughly on top of her they panted for breath in unison.

"You are mine Rin. And no one else's." he said, a deep note of possessiveness in his voice. She nodded her head against his neck.

"Hai" she whispered as she drifted into sleep. "Aishiteru, Sesshomaru-sama. Always and forever your Rin." She tightened her arms around him, and fell into a peaceful slumber.

"Aishiteru Rin. Aishiteru." He placed a light kiss to her temple and drift into a sleep close behind his lover.
