In the morning, Sesshoumaru was woken up by a loud screeching noise. It was Kagome. Apparently, she would not get up and her brother used a most unique way of waking her.

Sesshoumaru was lying on the couch and just about to drift into dream land again when Souta came shooting down the stairs and break-necking speeds. Sesshoumaru thought this was rather peculiar and looked toward the stairs where the little boy had come from.

There stood Kagome, dripping wet and a murderous gleam in her eyes. Souta was backing away from her and laughing nervously. He tried to hide behind Sesshoumaru, but Kagome used her enhanced speed and came up right behind him. She whacked him right upside the head, effectively giving him a rather large bump on the back of the head.

"Don't ever do that again, Souta! Jeez! And Sesshou, wipe that smirk off your face or I'll do it for you!"

Sesshoumaru stopped smirking but smiled inwardly at her words. That last statement had double meanings. Heh heh………

Kagome huffed and then went to get ready. Sesshoumaru too got up to get dressed.

Breakfast was uneventful and quiet, except Shippo, who was babbling about nothing to Souta. Sesshoumaru and Kagome kept glancing at each other from time to time.

After the oh-so-wonderful first meal of the day, Kagome suggested that they wash up and get ready to go back to the feudal era.

Soon enough they were all ready to go and standing at the lip of the ancient well. Sesshoumaru wrapped an arm around Kagome's waist, while she held her bag and Shippo, and jumped into the well.

Arriving on the other side was no problem. They stopped at Kaede's hut to tell the other's (not including Inuyasha) as to where they were going. Then, after much reassuring, Kagome flew off with Sesshoumaru to his home.

Sesshoumaru landed in the gardens of his castle with Kagome and her kit in his arms. Immediately out of nowhere, Rin ran up and latched onto Sesshoumaru's leg.

"Hi Sesshoumaru-sama! I have missed you lots! Oh, whose the pretty lady and who's the little boy, Sesshoumaru-sama?!"

"Rin, this is Kagome, a…friend of mine. And this is her son, Shippo."

Rin grinned a huge grin and bombarded Shippo with questions as he jumped from Kagome's shoulder to the ground next to her.

"How old are you? What kind of youkai are you? Blah, blah, blah……" that went on for five minutes while Shippo just stood and stared at her. Finally, she got to a question that he could answer, "Do you want to come and play with me, Shippo-kun?"

(AN: I know they just met and all, and she shouldn't really call him 'kun' yet, but hey, she's like 5 years old, and you know little kids consider every other little kid their friend the second they meet)

Shippo nodded enthusiastically and the two bounded off to play, leaving Kagome and Sesshoumaru alone. (AN: Heh heh…)

Sesshoumaru looked down at Kagome, who just happened to still be in his arms. (AN: Key word: Happened) He fought the urge to smile the 'predator-catches-prey' smile again. He idly wondered what she was thinking about. She was just staring off into space in the direction that Rin and Shippo had taken with a smile on her face.

"Kagome" he said, breaking the silence and making her jump "what do you wish to do?" I know what I'd like to do… he thought. Then he went staring off into space and thinking some very hentai thoughts.

"I don't know Sesshou." But her stomach protested and growled at them. 'Guess I'm hungry' she thought sarcastically.

Sesshoumaru broke out of his daydream and looked at her with amusement dancing in his golden eyes. "Sounds likes you would like something to eat Kagome."

"Good guess" she muttered. She made to move, but he tightened his hold on her. It was then she realized that she was in his arms and she liked it. Yes, she liked it a whole lot. She blushed.

"Um, Sesshou, can you let you let me go so I can go eat?"

"I am going to eat as well Kagome, so I'll just…accompany you to the dining room."

"Okay, well then put me down and let's go Sesshou, I'm starving!"

He nodded and set her down reluctantly, but stuck out the crook of his arm to her; signaling for her to take hold of it. She happily obliged to the offer (AN: who wouldn't?!) and slipped her arm in his. Just before they began their walk to the dining room though, Kagome stopped,

"Hey Sesshou?"

"Nani?"

"What about my stuff?" She gestured towards her forgotten pack on the floor of the gardens. He nodded.

"I will send for a servant……Jaken!" He shouted.

The little toad servant waddled out in a hurry. "Yes milord? What can this lowly Jaken do for you?" (AN: Heh, lowly is right.)

"Take Lady Kagome's things to her room. And see to it that she will have her own servant to succumb to her needs. Understood? Oh and go and check on the children too, afterwards."

Jaken paled (if that's possible) when he heard the last bit.

'Children?!As in plural?! Not just *one* child anymore?!'

He almost glared at Kagome when he figured that the other child was hers, but stopped when he saw the look directed at him from his lord. He nodded, "h-hai, Sesshoumaru-sama!" And with that he waddled away again.

Sesshoumaru and Kagome made their way to dinner. Sesshoumaru thought it was *really* nice that the children were not there. He wanted some time alone with the beautiful woman beside him. He seated himself at the head of the table (go figure) and Kagome was seated to his left. They sat in a comfortable silence, just smiling at each other, until their food arrived from the kitchens.

After dinner, Kagome excused herself to her room while Sesshoumaru left for the library. Once in her room, she got out her mini boom box and put in a C.D. Ballroom dancing music filled the air. Kagome practiced her waltzing. When the song ended, she picked up her boom box and left the room. She was in search of a dance room or ballroom.

'Surely there must be at least *one* here. I mean c'mon, this is a CASTLE for goodness sake. Don't all castles have ballrooms?'

Finally, after searching for at least 30 minutes, she came upon what she was searching for. She was so much in awe of the room; she just stood in the entryway and stared.

The room was golden. The ceiling was raised at least 30-40 feet and had paintings of clouds and little flying children. There was a magnificent golden chandelier hanging down from the center of the ceiling. The floors were tile and were a darker color than the rest of the room. Along the northern wall, windows that were just about as high as the ceiling were there. And also along that wall, in between the windows, were some doors, which she guessed led to a balcony. (Think of 'Beauty and the Beast' for the ballroom ok?)

"What are you doing?" a voice said slowly. She jumped and turned in the direction of the voice. Sesshoumaru stood behind her with and eyebrow quirked at her in amusement.

'He's even more beautiful the room…' She thought vaguely. He stood in his usual attire-minus the armor-and his hair was perfect as usual, but it was swaying slightly as though he had just moved. There also must have been a lit candle or something somewhere, because there was a light shining on him that made him glow a little. He looked like an angel; all in all, he was perfect.

Sesshoumaru was thinking along the same lines. She wore a simple, flowing, white dress, from her time, and her bluish-silver hair was done up in a very exotic looking arrangement. It made her now longer bangs frame the sides of her face and the rest of her hair was done in a braid that had been pulled up into a bun. She also had the little glow around her. Her sapphire and silver flecked eyes sparkled and a pretty blush was rising to her cheeks. 'She looks like a goddess or an angel. No wonder I love her so much' he paused 'love? Did I just think that? No, couldn't possibly be…' he tried to assure himself, but was not totally convinced.

"Oh! Sesshoumaru! Ano, I was just going to practice my ballroom dancing. Want to join me?" Secretly she hoped big time that he would say yes. To her dismay, he declined the offer; insisting that he would rather watch.

She pouted but didn't complain to him. She went over to her boom box and turned it on. Once again, beautiful music filled the air.

*Maybe it's your laughter…*

*Maybe it's the magic of your smile…*

*Maybe you're an angel…*

*Cuz hope is always dancing in your eyes…*

Sesshoumaru found those words were somehow affecting him. He stared at Kagome; a contented smile beginning to creep onto his face. He loved the way she smiled and was always laughing and caring for others. She was beautiful; like an angel………

*I can't imagine a more beautiful girl than you…*

*May I have the honor, of sharing a melody, or two?*

Sesshoumaru slowly rose from his position on the side, and stalked quietly over to the angel. He came up behind her and grabbed her hands lightly and followed her movements.

*May I have this dance?*

*May I lead you across the floor?*

*May I take your hand, and spin you around, and around once more*

He spun her around in circle, following the song. She turned to him, after the spinning, and smiled brightly at him. They glided across the floor soundlessly; each just locked deeply in each other's gaze.

*May I hold you close before this evening is through?*

*May I have this dance with you?*

Kagome rested her head on his chest as her pulled her ever closer. She sighed happily.

*Do you hear the music?*

*Do you like the way they play our song?*

*Do you know how much I love you?*

*Baby I could hold you all night long…*

Yes, how right those words are, thought Sesshoumaru. He definitely wanted to have her in his arms all night long; no, forever…

*So close to heaven…*

*My dreams have already come true…*

*I treasure this moment… *

*Cause I'm making a memory with you…*

Kagome looked up Sesshoumaru. Was he really going along with the words of the song? What about the statement about love? She looked right into his eyes and almost gasped.

*May I have this dance?*

*May I lead you across the floor?*

*May I take your hand, and spin you around, and around once more?*

*May I hold you close, before this evening is through?*

*May I have this dance with you?*

(Repeat once more)

Sesshoumaru's eyes were filled with love and happiness; and he was smiling. Kagome smiled at him in return, emotions and all.

They both leaned in for a kiss, and this time they were not interrupted. Their lips met in a soft and caring kiss. It deepened and changed to a passionate and fiery kiss. When they broke apart, they just stared into each other's eyes. They leaned in for another kiss, but giggles halted them.

"Kagome is my oka-san now right?" a little girl's voice rang out.

"Yeah, I guess she is" another childish voice replied.

"Yay! I have a new mommy!" the girl's voice sang.

There were more giggles so Sesshoumaru and Kagome both went over and looked behind a potted floor plant. There behind it was Shippo and Rin; giggling like mad.

Yes, yes, I know, short chapter. But wasn't it just so romantic and fluffy and kawaii!?!? I love it! Oh and that song (which I don't own, by the way) was called 'May I have this dance' by Scott Krippayne from the album called, 'All of me'. You should go check out the song. It's very romantic.

Sesshy:*pushes author away* No. *turns to Kagome* though I would dance some more with you and then go and do something else later…*wiggles eyebrows in suggestive manner*

Kagome: *blushes* s-sure Sesshou-kun *hooks arms with Sesshy and walks off to 'dance' some more*

Bubblesbb03: *stares at them; mouth agape* what?! Sesshy!! What about me?!?!

Sesshy: *stops and looks at author* you are not worth my time, ningen. *snorts and walks off with Kagome*

Bubblesbb03: omg. I can NOT believe that guy! I created him (well not really, but you know what I mean), and he leaves me!!! *starts sobbing hysterically*

Friends of bubblesbb03: well, you did make Kagome a youkai like him and made them love each other a whole lot.

Bubblesbb03: but still……

Friends: Aw, cheer up bubbles-chan; you can just go with Kouga, Kurama, or even better, Youko Kurama!!

Bubblesbb03: *cheers up immediately* ya know what? You're absolutely right!!! And plus, I can just get back at Sesshy and make him do something incredibly embarrassing in the story! I AM the author after all!! MUAHAHAHA!!!! ……….Now then, with that out of the way…*goes off to find the other guys,* oh Kouga, Kurama! Yoo-hoo!
