Sesshomaru: How dare you?!? What made you baka oni think that I could fall a simply...mortal?!? -_-?

Yura: Ano... this is just a fic, plus you and K are just cutest couple!!! *lol* ^____^

Sesshomaru: Cute?.... *snorts* Hah!... She's just a human and she is not wort my time! -___-

Yura: Sure, everyone says so... ^___^

Kagome: Hi! What are you guys talking about? ^ ____^

Yura: Nothing... nothing at all! ^___^

Sesshomaru: Can we start so this will be over sooner?!? -___-*

Yura: Sure Mister Fluffy, whatever you say! ^______^

Kagome: Fluffy? Oh! That's just kawaii!!!! ^__________^

Sesshomaru: *gulps* Just shut up! -__-v

A young man stood on a cliff that showed most of his lands and a pack of travellers not far away,
each one of them sleeping peacefully.

The man's golden eyes shone along with the stars and moon as his eyes looked at a young girl... no.. a young woman, curled next to a younger kitsune cub whom she had claimed as her son.

The young woman cried in her sleep quietly. The man felt his cheast hurting, or more likely burning like a
fire. He felt need to go over to the sleeping young woman, took her into his strong arms, held her tightly, whisper comforting words, make her bad dreams go away.

But he knew he couldn't, because he knew one of them always kept on watch and the woman would only scare of him.

Waiting and wanting you
Could this be love
How, tell me how will I know*

A first rays of the morning sun flew towards the travellers, waking them up one by one.

The young woman yawned tiredly, her eyes showing nothing but sorrow from last night dreams. Putting up on her usuall fake cheerfullness mask, she got up from her sleeping pag and started to make breakfast to the others, hoping for the mask would not break down.

"Wench! Stop daydreaming you unuseful bitch! You're burning the breakfast!" One of her travelling companions snapped, rather rudenly.

The young woman just sighed, fixing her eyes on the breakfast, hoping that the pain in her cheast would go
away and the deep wound in her heart could heal fast, so the pain would wanish away...

'I will not cry. Not infront of none of them,' She decided and blinked her eyes few times, before she gave the
first cup of ramen to the rude guy, knowing very well that if she would not, he would deepen her wound by the more hurtful words...

Nearby, on the same cliff like the night before, the young man watched a one of travellers insulting the young woman. He wanted so much go down there and say few choosen words to the hanyou, but if they asked his reasons to be there and be on the woman's side, what would he tell them?

*Will my heart make be believe it's so
Or can I trust the way I feel*

He did not know what to say for them to the reasons to be.

'Maybe I should go there and buy a visit after the breakfast... Just pretent to be there to take that stupid sword of the hanyou half brother of mine... I just wish to see that woman closer,' The young man thought
and walked over to his own travelling companions, bringing a breakfast to a human child he kept around
and took care of like his own daughter.

The pack of the travellers had ate breakfast and packed their things when suddenly an old enemy was standing not far away from them, smirking.

"What are you doing in my lands? Did you come here to give me the sword?" The enemy asked, rising his eyebrown.

"We are here to find pieces of the shikon no tama, what THAT idiot bitch over there shattered," The leader answered pointing towards the young woman and added as the second of thought, " And I would NEVER
EVER give you MY sword!"

"Oh, really? Then, if you don't give it to me, then, dear baka hanyou half brother of mine, then i just have to take it from you," The enemy smirked.

"Over my dead body Sesshomaru!!!" The leader yelled and took his sword from it's shelder, attacking the
enemy.

The enemy just smirked and took a quick glare of the woman, who was standing far away from her other travelling companions, holding the kitsune tightly in her arms, her eyes showning only sorrow.

*If only you could read my mind*

The young woman watched as the two brothers started to fight, she had indeed saw the glare what Sesshomaru had send for her. Only a one look into his eyes and she was something what she had never
seen in them before.

They were soft and full of worry, but who? She could not tell...

The swords danced on the air as the brothers fought for nothing. Iron to iron, few rude words towards each other, blood, wounds, pain... The fight for dead and love.

Sesshomaru looked at the woman corner of his eyes and noticed her watching him. Her blue eyes showed understanding and warm, not sorrow like a few moments ago.

*You see how hard I've tried
Still I can't decide*

'I can't tell what this is I feel towards that woman... Kagome' He thought and almost missed his little brother's attack.

Sesshomaru missed his brother's attack, the sword hit his right arm, that had grown back in two years. The sword made only a deep wound, nothing more.

He felt the pain, but didn't want to back off, not until he could hurt his little brother, making him pay for
his insulting words towards Kagome that morning.

So deep in his thought he was, that he missed his brother's sword a second time, and this time it hit through his stomach, making him fall on to his knees.

Sesshomaru blinked his eyes. How could his hanyou half brother defait the great Lord of the western lands,
Sesshomaru, the most feared and powerful youkai lord ever known to walk on the earth,(after his father InuTaisho, of course)?!?

He looked his little brother's golden eyes and saw only angriness and mock, directed to towards him.

"Why are you here Sesshomaru? I know you did not come because my sword," Inuyasha asked, holding the sword still in the place; through his stomach.

"Then...if you knew.... Inuyasha.... why did you fight?" Sesshomaru asked almost whispering.

"Because I felt like.... Now tell me your real reason bastard or I'll kill you!" Inuyasha growled.

Sesshomaru closed his eyes for awhile, until he opened them; "I knew .... It was stupid to come and see her," He whispered so quietly that only Inuyasha heard him.

"See who? What are you talking about?!?" The hanyou snarled.

Sesshomaru laughed and coughed some blood, "If only you knew..."

"What do you mean you son of a bitch?!?"

The young man turned his golden eyes towards Kagome, giving her a small smile.

*Do you know if it's true
That real love lasts a lifetime
Does it shine like the stars up in the sky*

"You have no rights to look at my shard director that way!!" Inuyasha growled angrily, turning the sword that still rested inside him, making the youkai lord whimper quietly by the pain and turn his eyes away from the woman, closing his golden orbs to hold the tears of pain.

'Kagome..' He thought sadly.

*And do you know if you can fall for
Just a moment
Is a moment for all time*

He opened his eyes again, only to see his brother looking at him in disgust and amusement look showing on his face.

*Why, why am I so unsure*

Sesshomaru looked back at the woman, letting his mask of cold and boredness slip away, letting the woman see the emotions playing on his face.

*Is that love knocking at my door
Or the sound of my beating heart?
If you could read my mind*

He looked into her blue eyes, seeing understandment in them.

*You know I just can't hide
What I feel inside*

"Are you stupid or something?!? I said don't look at my shard director!!!" Inuyasha yelled and turned the sword again.

Sesshomaru didn't care no more. He let a small tear ran down from his cheek.

'Kagome, if only you knew, what I've been going through... Waiting and wanting you...' He thought.

"Could this.... be love?" He asked quietly, still looking into Kagome's eyes, "Tell me... could this... be... love,
Kagome, please.... tell me,"

"I don't...know.... what do you feel?" Kagome asked walking a little closer to the lord of the western lands.

"I feel...fire... need to.... hold you... in my.... arms, like last.... night," He told her.

"What about last night?" She asked.

"I... I was.... watching my...L....lands over.... a high.... cliff... I saw... you all.... sleeping.... You cried.... in your... sleep... As I saw you....crying... My cheat.... it started to... hurt.... It was on... fire... burning... I would...
have wanted to.... held you... in my arms.. and...whisper... comforting words... make your bad... dreams.. and..
tears go... away," He whispered, gasping an air between the words.

Kagome felt her heart beating faster and her face growing red by Sesshomaru's words.

"Is it love?" He asked.

"Yes Sesshomaru, it's love," She nodded, wiping few fallen tears away from his face.

"Do.... you...feel the... same... towards me?"

"I'm sorry Sesshomaru, " Kagome shook her head, " but I can't feel towards you... nor no one," She told him whispering that last part quietly.

"Your heart... is.... broken?"

"Yes," She nodded.

"Can you two stop talking about shit! This mother fucker knows nothing, and I really mean NOTHING about love!!!" Inuyasha yelled and growled angrily, pulling the slowd slowly up throught Sesshomaru's
stomach.

"Kagome... Aishiteru," Sesshomaru managed to whisper before he collapsed on the ground, on dead.

"Nooooh!!!! Sesshomaru-sama!!!!" A little girl cried and ran throught a bush nearby, kneeling next to her
father-like figure, sobbing and crying, hugging the dead body.

"You killed Rin's dad!!!!! Why did you do that?!?!?" A young human girl, no younger then eight or ten yelled. The girl's chocolate brown eyes were showing nothing but angry.

"Your... dad?" Inuyasha asked in a question.

"Yes! Sesshomaru is Rin's only family after they died long ago! Now you killed all Rin had importand in her life!!" The little girl cried.

Kagome looked at the girl and saw her aura growing from pink to violet.

"Sango... Miroku.... I think you two should run.... and fast," Kagome slowly told to her friends.

"B...but why?" Miroku asked.

"No time to explain, just go!" Kagome yelled and saw her friends running off.

"You too Shippo, now go and don't look back," She whispered to the kitsune cub as she let him down from her arms.

"But-" He tried to protest, but Kagome cut him off.

"I don't have time to explain! Now go before it's too late!" Kagome told him and watched as the kitsune ran away.

The miko turned her gaze back to the little girl, who had closed her eyes, the aura around her had already sucked Inuyasha in.

Before Kagome could even a blink her eyes, the aura around the girl exblowed...

Kagome opened her eyes, but closed them as soon as a bright light hit in her eyes. 'What happened?'
She thought and carefully opened her eyes, looking around, seeing nothing but light around her.

"Where am I?" She whispered, getting up from the ground she had been laying on.

"Hello Kagome," A familiar voice said behind her. She turned around and saw her father standining there, with a smile.

"Dad?... Daaaaaad!!!!" Kagome yelled happily and ran over to him, hugging him tightly.

"I missed you so much!!!" She cried.

"I missed you too, Kagome," Her father smiled.

"Kagome...." Someone whispered nearby.

"Kagome... you must go. Your time is not yet..."

"I don't wanna leave you!!!" She cried.

"Kagome dear, we will see again, but your time to be here is not yet... Go back to your friends and the one who loves you... Give him a change," Her father told her.

"W... what are you talking about?" Kagome asked, letting a go of her father.

"You'll see, when you wake up. Now go!!!" He yelled and pushed her towards a black hole.

"Nooooh!!! Daaaaad!!!!" Kagome cried as she fall down to the hole...

" Kagome, Kagome please wake up!!!" Shippo pleaed, trying to shook his mother alike figure awake.

"Huh?.. w...What happened?" Kagome asked, opening her eyes and looking around, seeing her usual group of shard hunters.

"You saw a nightmare, you yelled so loud that you wake up half of the world!" Inuyasha snapped.

"SIT!!!" Kagome snapped back and looked around the forest. 'It was just a dream? Sesshomaru did not come here and died?' She thought and shook her head, looking up to the sky, but her eyes stopped over to
a high cliff. She gasped quietly for what she saw.

'Sesshomaru,' She smiled, "I can try, but I can't promise anything," She whispered quietly to the wind.

Sesshomaru looked at the group of traveller over a high cliff. He had been watched them for awhile, so
he had been and heard the miko yelling like she was going to die.

"Kagome..." He whispered quietly, "Aishiteru.... but can you love me like I love you?" He asked.

He listened the wind for awhile, before he walked down the cliff, towards his own group, but stopped, when
he heard wind carring Kagome's small whisper to his ears; "I can try, but I can't promise anything,"

He smiled, "That's all I ask, as long as you try,"
