Chapter 3: poisoned

“AHHHHH” Kagome screamed Inuyasha was holding a bunch of pieces of wood but unknown to him there was a snake rolled around one of the piece of wood…

“inu..inu.” She asked looking at the snake as it showed it's fangs

“hey what's wrong with you! You look a bit pale” inuyasha said as the snake fell on to the ground, inuyasha moved closer to Kagome because he thought she looked purple.

“That's a…. that's a” she said pointing at the snake

spit it out already!”

“THAT'S A Black Mamba!” Kagome said terrified as the snake stared at them. (I know black mambas are mostly in Africa but this is a fan fiction)

“feh that little thing couldn't eat a mouse let alone me and since when are you so smart wench?” he looked at her as if she had grown an extra head

"#1 i was always smart and #2 i have a name and it's KAGOME do you hear me KA-GO-ME!" she snapped

"okay ka-go-me since you think you're all that get us out of here!"

While with Kikyo and Miroku

They had found things to eat. Miroku found nothing and Kikyo found an apple. They were walking to camp when they saw Sanjaiturning more pale and the wound got worse considering he was lying in a pool of blood. Kikyo quickly got worried and ran to him while Miroku stood thinking.

`What would Sango like? Does she like flowers? Well duh all girls likes flowers but which kind' he thought with a finger on his chin.

“Miroku i think Sanjai's dying” Kikyo said and Miroku ran to her out of no where Sango came running with kilala. (kirara's not a demon in this fic everyone's human, so she's a normal cat that's why she can't fly everyone out of there)

“Sango he's getting worse” Miroku said while his little hand went a bit too far.

“PERVERT!” followed by SLAP.. Sesshomaru who had just arrived with a bunch of wood sat around a dying Sanjai.

"Kagome's missing" he said coldly

“yeah we have to go look for her she could be in some kind of danger” Miroku said

“but we have something worse here Sanjai's dying” Sango said

“okay let's go look for her” Miroku said while him , kikyo and Sesshomaru went their separate ways to find Kagome.

“Hey how come I have to stay here?” Sango said but there was no one in sight.

`oh great it'll be my fault if he dies' she thought

“you.. Your missing friend is in danger you must go help” he said while his heart beat got slower and slower.

“they already went I'm sure they'll find her”

“your missing friend the girl and the boy in red are right behind that hill you need to get there but becar” he couldn't finish, his breathing became slower and slower until there was none .

“poor Sanjai! I never knew him very much actually I didn't know him at all but he was a very nice guy.. If anyone deserves… oh my god Kagome's behind that hill” Sango said as she started to run to the hill.

While with Kikyo

“KAGOME!” Kikyo yelled over and over again but there was no answer..

`She walked and walked but there was no sign of her sister… she heard something behind a bush so she went to check it.

`oh what's ifits a snakeor a bear? oh well' she thought as she looked in the bush and a little bird walked out.

“oh you are so cute what are you doing here with out your mommy? Well I guess I could take you with me” Kikyo told the little bird as she picked up the little bird and continued walking

While with Sango

`okay he said behind this hill'

“KAGOME I'M COMING! DON'T WORRY!” Sango yelled said as she started to run up the hill.

While with Sesshomaru

'why did she had to get lost in the fisrt place?' he thought as he continued to walk looking for Kagome

While with Miroku

`I think I passed that tree 17 times already, and I passed that rock that is shaped like inuyasha's head too! I am lost! I wonder if Sango will come and rescue me' he thought with a smirk and continued to walk in the same path he did 17 times.

“KAGOME HELP ME I THINK I'M LOST!” he screamed but no one answered.

While with Kagome and Inuyasha and the black mamba (I know I'm writing too many while with but you had to see what the others were doing)

“uh Kagome is that the kind of snake that bites or not” Inuyasha asked while they were slowly backing away from the snake..

“ YOU IDIOT IF IT BITES YOU, YOU DIE!... i think” she answered

“so i'll kill that little thing in a min?”

"DON'T TRY TO BE A HERO! DIDN'T YOU HEAR WHAT I SAID? I'LL REPEAT IT AGAIN 'THAT SNAKE CAN KILL YOU' NOW WE'RE NOT FIGHTING IT!" she yelled

"since when do you tell me what to do?"

“uh… well if we just stand here it can bite both of us but if we run in different directions it will only get one of us so I guess yeah she should run and maybe ...climb a really tall tree” She answered

“okay on the count of 3 you run left and I run right.. Okay” he said as she nodded

“okay my left or your left?” she asked confused

“doesn't matter just run wench!” he said as he started to run and she ran the opposite way.

"My name's KAGOME!" she yelled from far away running so fast she almost hit a tree

Luck wasn't on Kagome's side because the snake was right behind her

Kagome turned and turned but the snake was right behind when she tripped and everything went black.

While with Sango

“god this hill is so high thank god I made it… hey wasn't Kagome supposed to be here?” she asked herself confusedly when someone came running and bumped right into her

“hey watch where you're going!” she said and looked around to see that it was Inuyasha

“did you find Kagome?”

“Sango I was with her the whole time but then a snake called the black samba or something like that and she told me to run and here i am” he said it all in 1 breath

“Inuyasha you idiot we need to find her! If you out ran a snake it means that it followed her!” Sango said running to the direction Inuyasha came from … It took a minute or too for that Information to get inside Inuyasha's brain..

“feh” he said running to catch up….On their way they bumped into Kikyo and Sesshomaru..

“I wonder where Miroku is?” Inuyasha said looking at everyone but they were no longer there.

“hey guys wait up!” he ran to catch up to them… when he got there he saw a pale unconscious Kagome who was now being held by Kikyo and everyone was around them.

Sesshomaru approached Kagome and smiled.

“we need to take her to Sanjai he'll know what to do” Inuyasha said

“uh guys.. Sanjai's dead” Sango said while a lot of gasps were heard

“there's someone missing” Sesshomaru said as they all looked around to see who was missing but finding none they looked back at him.

“who?” they all said at once except Kagome who was still unconscious.

“the pervert” 'man this people are stupid.. all this time and they didn't notice Miroku wasn't here' he though while looking at them

“oh my god Miroku's missing! What if he gets bitten by a snake too even though i won't miss him that much if he's gone” Kikyo said still holding on to Kagome emotionless body..

“we'll go look for him… Kikyo you stay with Kagome” Sango said while everyone else nodded and they left.

While with Miroku

“okay I passed that tree 35 times and no matter what direction I go I keep on coming to the same place… I'll think I'll seat here and wait until someone hopefully Sango will come and get me” he said while seating down…

3 hours later to the same place Miroku is

“zzzzzzzzz” Miroku said while sleeping…

“GUYS I FOUND HIM!” Inuyasha said while Sango and Sesshomaru came, Inuyasha tried to wake Miroku by shaking him but when he did Miroku said “oh yeah Sango” he woke up to see Inuyasha, Sesshomaru and a really mad Sango.

“Miroku what were you dreaming about?” She asked

“uhhhhh you but its not like that.. You came and save me” he said but only earned a slap

“yeah I'll believe that” she said

“let's go back” Sesshomaru said turning around and leaving them behind..

While with Kikyo

“hey sis do you remember when mom brought us the same dress but mine was yellow and yours was pink and I wanted it and then “ but she was interrupted by Kagome

“I gave it to you so we could be friends again” Kagome said while smiling

“Kagome i know that you were bitten by a Black Mamba, there is this herb that should cure you but"

"Kikyo could you go get it for me?"

"But Kagome if i leave you another animal could come and you might die"

"but if you don't get it i will die anyway so please go"

"okay but i'll be back soon!" Kikyo said as she ran as fast as she could in search for the herb but unknown to them there were a pair of black eyes watching their every move.
