Chapter 5: Match makers

Morning…

Sesshomaru was the first to wake up, he still had his arms around Kagome, he blushed and slowly removed his arms and went to sit by the lake. The next one to wake up was Kikyo and Sango were trying to look for food other than fish. That's when Sango found a little bird inside Kikyo's backpack.

“Kikyo do you know that you have a bird in your backpack?” she asked

“uh yeah about that I found it and it looked lonely and since it's a baby I thought I should take care of it” she answered

“whatever” Sango said as she went to sit by the lake but not too close to Sesshomaru since he freaked her out with his glares. While Kikyo sat by a tree looking and talking to the little bird waking Miroku and Kagome up.

“Kikyo I will only say this once STOP TALKING TO A BIRD!” Kagome said sleepy as she went back to sleep.

“ Well someone's a grumpy in the morning” Miroku said while looking at a now sleeping Kagome while he looked around.

`where is she? Oh there she is by the lake!' Miroku thought while smiling as he walked to Sango.

“Hello beautiful lady” he said in his charming tone but she barely looked at him and said “hey Miroku you're awake already”

“well yeah I wanted to see your gorgeous face in the morning” while his left hand was going a little too far

“well I'm not in a good….PERVERT!” followed by a loud slap waking up Kagome again and Inuyasha who fell off the tree and didn't look happy.

“Miroku keep your hands to yourself and everyone else SHUT UP I WANT TO SLEEP!” He screamed while he went back to sleep on the tree. While Kagome just nodded and went back to sleep too.

“is it just me or are they just alike Miroku?” Sango asked

“yeah they would make the perfect couple” Miroku said while he and Sango smiled and shook hands.

“it will be a pleasure working with you” he said as they both went off to try to wake up their friends. First Sango tried to wake up Kagome by getting water on her hands and dropping on Kagome's face who barely moved. Then she got read to scream close to her ear but Kikyo started laughing and called Sesshomaru to watch.

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” Sango screamed but all she got in return was Kagome slapping her face. Then she tried shaking Kagome but Kagome knew Kung fu and kicked Sango in her sleep.

“okay I give up” Sango said to Kikyo as Kikyo just went up to Kagome and said

“Hojo's here” she said while smirking while Kagome woke up and ran as far as she could

“tell him I went for a vacation and I'm never coming back!” Kagome said while jumping up on a tree.

“wow that's some good way to wake her up” Sango said while Kikyo smirked

“it also works with Kagome your late for your date with Kouga but that one I'll wake her up tomorrow”

“who's Kouga” Miroku asked

“Her really jealous boyfriend but he's really cute too” Kikyo said while Kagome came down from the tree with a sleepy face and gave Kikyo a glare and went to wash her face.

Sesshomaru upon hearing that Kagome had a boyfriend some how got him angry inside and he didn't want anything more than to kill that guybut he still had his emotionless mask on..

“hey Sesshomaru” Kagome said as she was about to sit beside him but he just walked away and sat by a huge rock…

“Guys we still have to wake up Inuyasha” Sango said as they watched Miroku go and yelled “Jakotsu's here!” Inuyasha jumped down from the tree and looked around.

“where? Where is he? If he comes tell him I went to the other side of the world” Inuyasha said ready to run when Sesshomaru said “it was a way to wake you up you fool”

“Really funny you guys” He said while sending Miroku death glares… After a while of talking Miroku and Sango left.

“Sango how are we getting them together if Kagome has a boyfriend?”

“well he's not here is he? Kagome never liked him that much considering he's so over protective and they are so different so if we get her together with Inuyasha then they'll have something in common and she'll dump Kouga” Sango said it all in one breath.

“okay our first step is getting them to at least stand each other” he said while she nodded

“I'm listening”

“that's all I've got” he said while Sango playfully pnched his left arm and he pretented to look hurt.

“well you really are a thinker… well I was thinking we could send them to get wood and them they should bond, I'm going to tell Kikyo and Sesshomaru about the plan.” She said but he held on to her arm making her turn around

“Sango don't have you noticed that Kikyo and Sesshomaru are perfect for each other as well”

“yeah Kikyo acts almost like him except for the bird talking thing, I think she's talking to a bird because she misses Naraku”

“Naraku?”

“yeah that's her best friend and cousin they are like the same and they are quite evil together, once they had a plan and they died my and Kagome's hair blonde” She told him while he stared at her

“ why are you staring? Do you have a problem of staring at people?” she asked

“well I can just imagine you with blonde hair and how hot you look right now” he said as she blushed and slapped him.

“okay then plan is ready let's put it to action” Miroku said while Sango giggled

While with the others

“okay where did they go?” Kagome asked while Inuyasha smiled and she noticed

“you have a sick mind! Sango doesn't like Miroku because if she did she would tell me! right Kikyo?”

“yeah sure”

“Sesshomaru you're so quiet today. Is there something wrong” Kagome asked while Sesshomaru just shook his head and sat on a tree.

“it's probably that he misses Rin” Inuyasha said while Sesshomaru glared at him but he just ignored.

“Rin?” Sango asked

“yeah she's this 9th grader, she's our neighbour but Sesshomaru treats her more like a sister than when he treats me like a brother” Inuyasha said

“that's because she doesn't get on my nerves unlike you MR. mom Sesshomaru took my blankie and won't give it back” he said while others laughed and Inuyasha got mad.

“well at least I wasn't the one who didn't have a valentine for valentine's day in 7th grade” he said while Miroku laughed.

“What's so funny Miroku?” he asked

“well he didn't have a valentine he had a girlfriend so you shouldn't be making fun of him”

“well at least I wasn't the one who stood in front of the mirror for about 1 hour combing my hair” He said

“Shut up Inuyasha! I like his hair and unlike your it's not a mess and it's not tangled!” Kagome protested while Sango and Kikyo nodded..

“guys why don't we go look for food and wood, Kagome and Inuyasha could go get the wood while” Miroku managed to say while Kagome interrupted

“no way last time I went to get wood with him I got bitten by a snake and that's not happening again me and Inuyasha are going fishing”

“okay Kagome and Inuyasha are going fishing while Sesshomaru and Kikyo go get the wood and me and Sango will uh clean up the place since it's so dirty” Miroku said sa Sango gave him a glare as the others left.

“Miroku we're in a forest, with no one around and you want to clean up! How are we going to clean without a broom or something like that?” She asked while looking around

“well we can just take the leafs out of the way and make like a roof so when it rains we won't get wet” he said

“Miroku that's a … great idea! Lets get some big leafs and we'll meet here again” she said while leaving

`okay she's defiantly falling for me' he thought while he left to find those big leafs she was talking about

With Inuyasha and Kagome

“wench there's a fish right by your foot”

“stop calling me wench I have a name it's Kagome do you have a short memory or something?” she asked while holding a stick and trying to get the fish.

“ka-go-me that is pointless... just grab the fish!” he said while he tried to grab a fish but he just fell into the water head first, he came out and Kagome started laughing.

“what's so funny?” he asked

“it's.. it's just that you look like a wet puppy!” she said as she laughed even more that tears were coming out of her eyes..

“feh” he said unaware that a couple pairs of eyes were watching them.

While with Kikyo and Sesshomaru

They both had a lot of wood and weren't talking to each other at all

“Sesshomaru I saw something moving by that bush” Kikyo said but Sesshomaru just kept on walking.

“did you hear me?” she asked while he stopped walking

“I heard you but I'm ignoring you” he said as he continued walking

`great out of all the people I could have come with why did I get the ice king' she thought as she followed him.

Behind the bush

“Miroku this isn't working out, Kikyo and Sesshomaru can't stand each other!”

“just wait, didn't you see he talked to her”

“but he was being an asshole”

“my dear Sango you shouldn't use word like that” he said

“ what are you my mother?” she asked while she felt something on her butt.

“PERVERT! Why don't you ever keep your hands to yourself?” She said while leaving

`she definitely likes me' he thought as he started to walk back to camp.
