Chapter 18:

Kagome sat on her bed while looking at her ceiling… When your alone, many thoughts go through your head, no matter where you are, you will sometimes think about how your life is going or just what you want to eat.

`I wonder how Inuyasha and Sesshomaru are doing…. Hmph he's probably with his fan club but who could blame him? It's not like I'm ever going to see him again… I wonder if he misses me as much as I miss him' Kagome sighed and heard a knock on the door. The door slowly opened making a creaking sound before a female head popped in. Hanu one of their best servants came in with a letter. The younger Higurashi looked and smiled before jumping off her bed and snatching the letter with excitement written all over her face but as soon as she saw who it was from he frowned. It was from her dad, Hanu bowed and left.

`what does he want now? All these years without calling or writing anything he decides to write now? Well it's too late now' she thought as crumpled the piece of paper and threw it behind her landing under her bed. She looked at the clock it read 4: 15pm.

`a little nap never hurt anyone' she thought with a smile. Kagome lied on her bed before going to dream land.

Kagome's dream

There she was walking with Sesshomaru by her side. The scenery changed, now it showed her getting married. But just as quickly it showed her with 2 adorable children a little girl and a little boy, the twins. That was just the good part but the scene had changed once again. Now she was standing in the middle of the rain with her children holding each of her hands while Sesshomaru walked away holding hands with another woman who wasn't her. The little girl let go of her mothers hand and ran to her father.

“DADDY! DADDY! WHERE ARE YOU GOING! YOU PROMISED TO PLAY WITH ME!” she yelled while finally reaching her father. Sesshomaru let go the woman's hand who's face Kagome could not see, he bent down and looked into the innocent and scared eyes of this little girl, his little girl.

He smiled and said “I promise to come back to play with you, but you have to be good” the little girl's face lightened as she hugged her father. Sesshomaru looked at Kagome and his son but Kagome wouldn't look at him, and his son was glaring and sticking his tongue out at him while hugging his mother. She had heard his promise but she knew he wouldn't be coming back, everyone knew that he would eventually leave her but she never believed them. Now she stood with her two children who would remind her every single day of her life of the man she married, the man who made promises he couldn't keep, the man she loved.

End of dream

Kagome woke up with tears in her eyes. She looked around and sighed `it was just a bad dream' she thought. Higurashi looked at her clock it read 9:00pm. She slowly got up and put on her furry pink slippers. (I got one too! But mine are blue!) The house phone rang and she hoped it was Sesshomaru, but how would he get her phone number? He probably forgot all about her.

A beeping sounds was heard as she pressed a button.

“miss Higurashi there's a phone call for you on line 3” A voice said as she recognized it as her sister's personal servant “thanks Harun” she said while clicking on the button that said line 3

“hello?”

“hey baby” Kouga said

“hey Kouga”

“look outside your window” he said as she looked at the phone confusedly and answered “ um okay” she got up and as soon as she looked outside her window she gasped.

With Miroku (I bet you all want to kill me right now -.-)

Miroku lay on his couch eating a bag of chips and lazily looking at the TV screen. Yes he was watching beautiful women on the beach, his all time favourite movie. Somehow none of the women mattered, all he could think of was the wonderful time he had on that island, well it wasn't wonderful but it was one of the best times he had all his life. 'Sango' he thought while shutting off his TV and getting up.

“no more mopping around, there are plenty of beautiful women out there”. There was suddenly a noise making him jump in surprise, he took his baseball bat and headed for the kitchen.

“mew” he saw Kirara (or kilala which ever one you prefer) on top of a table and a broken lamp on the floor.

“Kirara? How did you get here?” he asked the small cat. Kirara looked at him and fainted. Miroku panicked and picked up Kirara carefully and dialled Inuyasha's phone number.

“Taisho household, Sesshomaru Taisho speaking” A cold and emotionless voice said. `he really needs a better way to answer the phone'

“Kirara's at my house and she fainted and I don't know what to do!” He yelled

“HEY GIMME THE PHONE! BASTARD COME BACK HERE!” he heard Inuyasha yell a second later the line went dead. `what help that was' he thought sarcastically. Miroku gracefully walked to his coffee table, taking his car keys with him as he opened the door and fast walked into his car.

With Sesshomaru

`who the fuck let them come in!' he thought while looking at 2 of his best stalkers running around looking for him. He slowly crawled underneath his bed and made no move. Kagura and Sarah were their names. He had no idea how they found out where he lived now but they always did, no matter how many times they moved. He looked around and saw Inuyasha smirking and he instantly knew who let them in.

“INUYASHA!” he barked (hehe barked -.- forget I said anything)

The youngest Taisho ran to his room as fast as his legs would take him. When he finally got there the slammed the door shut and locked it.

`now I can go back to my game' he thought… He typed in Dog Demon and his password, as soon as the grass and people appeared he smirked.

`to my home' he thought while heading North. When he had walked further a warning screen came but he just continued going further.

`ha no one can kill me!' Inuyasha thought with a smirk.

With Sango

Sango was peacefully sleeping on her bed before an annoying 11 year old busted into her room very loudly.

“SANGO! SANGO!” he yelled as tears streamed down from his rosy cheeks.. His sister murmured about not getting enough sleep before sitting on her bed waiting for Kohaku to say the reason on why he was waking her up… She hadn't slept in weeks and when she finally does he had to wake her up…. Life was cruel….

“KIRARA'S… MISSING!” he yelled before bursting into more tears, Sango turned pale white as she asked “wh..what do you m..mean missing?”

“I mean I can't find her anywhere!” he cried as she panicked and quickly picked up the phone and dialled the first person she thought of.

30 min before with Kikyo

The reporter smiled as the camera man did a close up as they all waited for Kikyo to say something. Higurashi looked and saw a taxi parked close by and secretly smirked, the reporter was still waiting her to continue her sentence but Kikyo didn't feel like an interview instead she fast walked to the taxi and got in. The taxi driver turned around and instantly knew who she was.

“Where to miss Higurashi?” He asked. Kikyo finally got a look at his face and shivered, the man looked like he hadn't taken a bath in days, his clothes were wrinkled and dirty making him look more like a hobo than a taxi driver. She slowly moved further away from the man since he was still staring at her.

“to the Higurashi mansion, I'm assuming you know where that is” she said coldly.

“of course little lady” he said while turning back to his seat.

`this has been such a great day' she thought sarcastically. After 15 minutes he stopped in front of her `house' she paid the man and slammed the door of the taxi.

When she had arrived back home she went directly to her room ignoring the servants telling her that her parents would arrive soon and that it would be good if she was on her best behaviour since they were having guests over.

`probably some old, smelly, fatso who's having money troubles and came to daddy for help' she thought bitterly. She picked up her phone and dialled a familiar number. The phone rang 5 times before an answering machine answered.

“You have called Naraku Katakashi's household, if your some annoying reporter calling me to ask for an interview on my cousin's `trip' hang up now or suffer the consequences, but if you are not one feel free to leave a message after the beep…. Bbbbbeeeeeeeeeeppppppppppppppppp”

“Naraku get up and answer the phone” Kikyo said coldly in a matter of seconds she heard someone picking up the phone.

“I`ll be right there” a sleepy yet grumpy voice said before hanging up. Kikyo stared at the phone confusedly.

`he's one weird cousin' she thought as she went to take a bath and get ready for her father's `guests' to come over.
