“Holy holy holy holy…..shit” was heard. 2 pairs of golden eyes were staring at her, one was laughing, well smirking more like it, and the other one's facial expression was amused? Shocked? This cannot be happening to me, the guy I hit, is here, with another guy that LOOKS IDENTICLE, okay maybe waaaaaaaaaay older.
“Ah…so you're Kagome Higurashi, you are to be my son, Inuyasha's new secretary, welcome.” The older looking man said warmly. “I see from your expression that you two have met?” No respond. He looked from the horror look on Kagome's face, and Inuyasha's smirking one he said, “You two HAD met, don't tell me Inuyasha tried to get you into his bed!” With that, he glared at his son.
“WHAT? DON'T LOOK AT ME! THIS BI…I mean GIRL TRIED TO KILL ME!” Inuyasha growled. “Kill?” his dad asked?
“No no no, sir, it was an accident, I'm really sorry!” Kagome stammered. “Okay then, since Inuyasha is still standing, I will let this “accident” pass, now Inuyasha show Miss Higurashi your office and her working space.” With that the man shooed them out.
Inuyasha and Kagome got into the elevator and went down to the 48th floor and worked to a very spacious office, spacious but messy. “Uh….excuse the mess, although you can help me clean it up.” Inuyasha said. “ This is your desk,” pointing to a desk just outside his office. He listed all the things that were to be done by the end of the day. “You may have an hour and a half for lunch break,” Inuyasha instructed, as he turned to leave, Kagome added, “I'm sorry about the whole…accident sir, would you like to come to lunch with my friend and I, my treat”
Inuyasha blanked for a minute then said, “I don't do dates, and drop the formality, it's Inuyasha.” “No not a date, more like an apology luncheon.” Was the reply. “Fine.” He said, with that he turned and walked into his office.
Whew, Kagome thought, now I need to get to work or I'll never finish. Inuyasha did not talk to her for the rest of the morning.
