The rest of the afternoon went pass quickly, pretty soon it was 6:30, work was over. Kagome was able to finish all the work Inuyasha had given her and help Inuyasha clean up his messy office. When she got all her stuff all neat, and was about to leave, she decided she should say goodbye to Inuyasha first. She knocked on the door and opened it after a very gruff “Come in” was heard.

“I was just getting ready to lea…you're not done yet?” she asked, eyeing the tall pile of paper beside his desk and four empty mugs next to him. She put her bag down and said, “After I get you a cup of coffee, tell me what you want me to do.” With that she left for the cafeteria leaving a very speechless Inuyasha behind.

15 minutes later she came back with two empty mugs and a big thermos full of cappuccino. “I thought this would save a few trips to the cafeteria.” She said, answering Inuyasha's question before he asked. She poured the coffee and those two got to work. By 9:30 they finished 1/3 of the work. Kagome yawned, “I think we did pretty good.” “I'll do the rest tomorrow, come on lets go.” Inuyasha said. They cleaned up and turned off all the lights before heading down. As they neared their cars, Inuyasha suddenly said, “Thanks for helping me today, I'll treat you to lunch tomorrow.” It was more like a command. Kagome nodded dumbly while wondering if eating lunch together was going to be a routine. She got home to find all her family members getting ready for bed (THEY ARE EARLY SLEEPERS), she quickly showered, ate a pack of instant noodle and slept soundly. She had a dream about Inuyasha and her competing, not burping but farting.
