Kagome kept a calendar in her current room, crossing out the days until she is moving in, (Wednesday).

-Monday-

Kagome was a bit late for work, and although she had tried her best to sneak without Inuyasha noticing, she failed. He pretty much barked at her, No wonder he's a dog demon, Kagome thought. He was in a sour mood for the whole morning, she tried bringing him coffee, which he insisted that he didn't need it, and left it sitting there, cold. She finished her work extra fast, so she could help him, but he only pushed her away saying that he didn't need her stupid “goddamned” help. For lunch, Kagome went alone, the first time for uh…one week? She brought back a potato salad sandwich for Inuyasha, he just snatched it from her and pushed her away again. Kagome just stayed far away from him for the rest of the afternoon, she wasn't about to let him ruin her day. Since she finished her work already, she helped her co-workers around, bringing them coffee, or going on some errands. Oblivious to her, her boss's eyes were following her every move and regretting being so mean to her all morning. BUT he wasn't about to let her know that.

“Uh…I'm going to go now,” Kagome said, it was already 6:30, and after Inuyasha's behavior this morning, she wasn't going to stay to help. She said bye and left. Inuyasha set, brooding, if he should go after her and apologize; finally he turned off all the lights and sped down the stairs. Much faster than the elevator. He caught her right when she got into her car. She stared at a frizzed hair Inuyasha, slightly out of breath. “I just wanted to apologize for this morning, my asshole brother came back last night and already made my life living hell.” Inuyasha panted out. All the anger Kagome felt, evaporated like water would do under the sun. “Well, I admit you were really MEAN, but I guess you're forgiven.” She said, twiddling her hair. “You GUESS?” Inuyasha widened his eyes, his nostrils flared slightly. He had fled down HOW MANY FLIGHT OF STAIRS JUST TO APOLOGIZE?? And here she was telling him that she “guess” he was forgiven. Then a sudden giggle from the bitch, and it dawned to him that she was trying to provoke him. Kagome couldn't hold it in, she burst out laughing. “You should have seen you face..” she managed to choke out. Inuyasha blushed, and Kagome straightened herself and asked, “Since we missed our usual lunch, want to eat dinner with me?” “Ah…I know, don't want to leave me huh?” Inuyasha teased. It was Kagome's turn to blush. “No not at all, fine! If you don't want to go I'll eat by myself.” she started to get into her car, a hand caught her arm and suddenly, she found herself staring into his golden orbs. “I didn't say I didn't want to go.” Inuyasha said softly. “Come on I'll drive.” He tugged her toward his car.

Dinner was great, they went to a place called “Spaghetti Factory” Then Inuyasha dropped her off at the company, so she could get her car. Later that night, Kagome replayed the whole day in her head, she had a feeling that she was going to start falling for her boss. She shook her head, that can't happen, boss-secretary relationships definitely don't work. Too tired to think about it, she fell into deep Slumber.

-Tuesday-

Inuyasha was in a better mood, he even said hi to Kagome. Out of curiosity Kagome asked him why the sudden happiness. He just told her gleefully that he was able to beat the crap out of his brother in chess yesterday. Chess, what a nerd. Kagome thought, she was never a big fan of chess. That day went by smoothly, Inuyasha took her to…Burger King for lunch, insisting that it was the best food place ever! Inuyasha didn't have a lot of work to do after work so Kagome didn't stay to help. “Oh, can I have tomorrow off? I'll stay extra late on Thursday to make up.” Kagome asked. Inuyasha raised an eyebrow, “Why?” “Well, I might have told u this, I'm moving into my new apartment, and the things are arriving tomorrow, and I have to get everything ready…and yeah” Kagome said nervously. “Oh, I guess, but don't' make it a habit.” “Thank you so much!” Kagome hugged him not even aware that this was forbidden. She said goodbye walked happily to the elevator. She couldn't wait until tomorrow, her stuff would be arriving at her apartment!

-Wednesday-

“Darn those people, what's taking them so long, I'm pretty sure I said 10:00 SHARP!” Kagome said, pacing around in her apartment, she had woken at 5:00 because she was so excited, this could be the next step into adulthood! And those damned Uhaul people are taking their damn sweet time. Then she look at the clock, oh it's only 11:00, oh well they should know better than to keep a lady waiting.”

“What Lady?” A deep voice said. Kagome's eyes widened, she recognized this voice. She turned around and squealed.
