kissed Kagome passionately, and she kissed back with just as much passion. His hands wandered down her form, grasping the bottom of her shirt. Careful not to rip it with his claws, he slowly pulled the shirt over her head. She shivered slightly when the cold air hit her now exposed skin, but shivered more when she felt his hot breath againist the area above her breast.
moaned as he placed kisses over her heated flesh. She whimpered his name when he pulled away. She opened her eyes that she hadn't realized she had closed and locked onto his lust filled molten eyes. She blinked lazily up at him, and he only smirked back. He moved back down for another passion filled kiss as his hands roamed freely. She felt his hands unclasp her lace bra and cup her breast. She let out a gasp as he moved lower and his mouth took over. She moaned once again as he sucked on her hardened nipple.
froze as a most unwanted sound reached his ears. Kagome froze as well. The sound resonated through the now mostly quiet house. It sounded again. The phone was ringing.
sighed as he slowly slipped off of her. She sighed as well, and reached for the phone on her bedside.
moshi," she said irratedly. A gruff and irrated voice met her own. "Inuyasha! Why are you calling?"
wench, there's an emergancy!" Kagome's eyes widened, and Sesshomaru glanced at her curiously.
wrong?" she asked worriedly.
said that she got a call about a youkai attack," he replied.
Where is it?" Kagome grabbed a peice of paper and a pen and wrote down an address. "I'll be there as soon as I can." She placed the phone back down and looked over at Sesshomaru. "I'm... sorry. I have to go. I can drop you off at your place if you'd like," she said apologetically.
fine," he replied coldly. Kagome looked away sadly and grabbed a large shirt of her dresser. When she turned back around Sesshomaru wasn't even in the room. He had left. She walked over to the window to see him walking down the street. She sighed sadly and left the room. She quickly grabbed her keys.
was a little while away from the city, about ten minutes. The cabin was smothered in flames and didn't look much like a cabin any longer. Sango and Miroku stood off to the side, watching as the cabin burned to the ground. Kagome walked over to them. "What happened?" she asked. Both Sango and Miroku sighed.
fought the youkai. And we won." Kagome blinked a few times at Sango's answer.
why-"
youkai burst into flames and the cabin caught before we could stop it," Miroku interrupted.
Kagome said. That explained it. But... Youkai didn't normally just burst into flames after defeat. This was rather odd. "Do you know why?"
Sango answered. "There's no reason we can think of." Kagome looked at the burning cabin thoughtfully. What could've happened? What caused this? No answers came. Maybe there were no answers.
Inuyasha?" she asked wuietly, barely heard over the roaring of flames in the backround.
said he couldn't come, that he'd call you. Are you okay, Kag?" Sango asked worriedly. "You look a little, well, hurried."
well I kinda was," she replied nervously. "But nevermind that. When need to calm that fire, and then we can leave."
Miroku agreed. "There is a stream nearby, we can get water from there. There are some buckets in the back of my truck." Kagome raised an eyebrow.
are there buckets in your truck?"
I had some cleaning to do," he muttered. The girls laughed at him.
okay. Let's hurry and put out that fire."
was on his bed, thinking over what had happened. He had lost control. He could not let it happen again, but there was no denying what had sparked between them. He had no idea what to do now. A weak, filthy human was stirring emotios up in him.
couldn't stop the denial of his thoughts. She wasn't weak, and she definitely was not filthy. Not even her smell was filthy. No, it was a pleasent aroma. She smelled of sakura blossoms and jasmine. He couldn't explain it, this attraction to her. Maybe she had cast a spell on him, a spell that he had failed to see. Even though he thought this, he knew it wasn't true. But it gave him an reason behind all of this, and he was desperately searching for one that he could grasp.
sighed as he turned over once again in his bed. As always, sleep was not coming easily to him. Warmth seemed to be lacking, and he always felt as though something were missing. 'But maybe,' he thought, 'it is someone who is missing...'
nearly slapped himself from incoming thoughts. But it, for some reason, made sense to him. He shook himself from his thoughts and forced his mind to go blank. He hadn't gotten much sleep at all the last couple weeks, and he was in need for some well earned rest. Maybe when he woke up he'd think about it.
chapter, I know. I have a bad knack for doing that. Just like cliffies. All well. Everyone has bad habits, so I'll just have to try and rid myself of this one.
