Chapter 1

"Where do you think you're going?" Inu yasha screams as he catches up with kagome.

"Where do you think? I have tests to take. Ill be back in three days and don't even think about following me." Kagome replies. I always say the same things to him, can't he just give up already. She tries to walk past inu yasha but to no avail. "Inu Yasha," she wines "let me pass"

"I don't feel like it" his arms are crossed and his nose is sticking straight up in the air.

"Sit boy"

Inu yasha crashes hard on the ground. "Why you"

"You always act as if I'm not coming back…" she climbs onto the lip of the well. "I wont be gone long"

"Hey!' inu yasha screams but she was already gone. As soon as he was able too he sprung right up and jumped down the well. I'll make her pay. He touched his feat down in kagome's time just as she finished pulling herself out of the well.

"Oh inu yasha" she said quietly to herself. Inu yasha's ear twitched to the sound of his name. "I hate leaving you like this" she slowly walks out into the cool air. "Ill be by your side soon."

"kagome" inu yasha whispered. He jumped out of the well watching her as she walked over to the tree where she first met inu yasha. He could smell the tears rolling down her face.

"I have to tell him. I have to tell inu yasha." She cried out loud. Not being able to stand her crying he slowly walked up behind her wishing he could stop the tears.

He bent down next to her. "tell me what kagome?"

"ahhh" she let out a quick scream. She calmed herself as she look up to see inu yasha sitting on the ground terrified.

"gees will you not scare me like that. I thought.." he stopped to see that she started to cry again. "no wait. Don't cry. kagome…"

"its ok inu yasha, you didn't make me cry." She looked up at him in a way that he had never seen before. He began to blush, but he couldn't take his eyes off hers. He couldn't help notice it was as if she was trying to tell him something. "inu…inu yasha.."

"kagome" he cut her off, "please come back with me" he said softly. "I don't like having you so far from me"

what did he just say? He wants me with him? She sat there starring at him with wide eyes. "I can't right now. I have to study." With every word she spoke his heart felt as if it were being crushed more and more.

"ok kagome, don't take to long. We have a lot of work to do still" he got up and started to walk toward the well.

"inu yasha…" he turned to look at her "will you wait for me?"

"yes, I will" he turned and started to walk again

"wait!" a small voice came from the house. "inu yasha!" he turned to see souta running towards him. "have to come to visit?" souta asked as kagome takes her bag a quietly walks into the house.

"no I was just leaving." He turns and walks away.

Souta becomes puzzle "inu yasha, what's wrong? I guess sis told you huh?" Souta looks at inu yasha who suddenly became very curious. "about the guys that are coming over tonight."

"WHAT?" he screams.

He looks at souta who is sitting on the ground scared. He didn't know. he thought "my aunt is bringing some of her friends over to help kagome find a husband" he stood up and ran back to the house scared of inu yasha's next move.

Inu yasha just stood there in horror. Millions of thoughts going threw him head, but the one that stood out was she lied to me. She lied to me so she can escape to her time to mean guys.

Some time went by and all he did was stand there in shock, he knew now that kagome didn't want him. It hurt him to think of her with some body else. "I wont let this happen. She'll make a life here, and wont have time for me." He pictured the guy that she would choose, who looked oddly close to kouga. Then the image of them kissing popped in his head. He started to growl. "he'll put his filthy hands all over her." He growled some more. Suddenly he had an idea.

It was now dark and he jumped onto the balcony. The window was already open and she was at her desk reading. He quietly stepped inside reaching around by kagome's head holding her with one arm and covering her mouth with another. She squirmed as he lifts her up and jumps into the large sacred tree. He finally releases kagome, who is scared out of her mind. She turns to see who it was. She was astonished to see inu yasha's pissed look.

"SIT BOY!" she screamed as she fell to the ground.

"what was that for" he screamed up at her.

"for kidnapping me, and what were you think you were doing scaring me like that. I thought you were going to hurt me, I can't believe you. Come get me down then go home"

He finally gets up and jumps to where she was. "Why are you mad, I'm the one that should be mad. You here, with all those boys on the way. I thought that you were studying."

"I WAS! Sit, sit, sit, sit!" She screamed as inu yasha fell to the ground hitting every branch on the way down. She began to climb down.

"Fine go marry some guy. Go live with him, in his big fancy house, see if I care if you never come back!"

"Why are you so jealous!"

"im not jealous!"

"yeah right!"

"im not!" He jumps to the branch that she climbed down to. "There is no reason for me to be." Then kagome reached over, in her anger, and kissed inu yasha on cheek. He was speechless! What is she doing. No sit? Why isn't she mad? Kagome?.

"of course not," she said softly gazing into his eyes "NOW GET ME DOWN!"

"fine…" he picked her up and jumped back into her room. "happy now?"

"Inu yasha come in" she said as she faced the opposite directing. He moved closer to her but before he could say anything her mom yelled…

"kagome, your aunts here. And it seems she brought a few nice gentlemen along." Inu Yasha began to growl. He started to walk towards her door as if he was going to severely beat her Aunts guests.

"No Inu Yasha!" she grabbed him and pulled but it wasn't enough. He Grabbed the door knob and started to turn it. "no they can't see you!" He ignored her. The thought of those men touching her played over and over in his head, taking away all sense of reason. What do I do? Well she did the first thing that came to her mind. She jumped in front of Inu Yasha, surprising him. He looked down at her.

"kagome? What are you…" he started to say but was interrupted by kagome's lips. She pressed her lips against his. At first to get him to stop trying to go after them, but it quickly turned into something more. What is she? Kagome, I love you so much .She raised her hands to his face and he gently put his arms around her. She put her foot against the door and softly closed it. Kagome leaned a little back trying to break the kiss but inu Yasha leaned with it. Not wanted to ruin the moment. This was the best feeling he ever had in his life.

Bang…they both jumped, breaking away from there embrace. "kagome! Hurry up!"

"Coming aunt" she turned to inu yasha. He quickly took her in his arms. "inu…" she whispered. "what are you…I need to." She whispered but was cut off.

"please don't go out there" She pulled away from his embrace and looked him straight in the eye.

"I've already decided who I want inu yasha, I decided along time ago." They both began to blush. "and don't worry, he isn't down there" she reached for the door and turned from him. He hesitated; he didn't want to let her go.

"Kagome." He sat down on the floor with is legs crossed. He had the most pathetic look on his face. "wh-who did you chose?"

She smiled "isn't It obvious inu yasha" she turned and walked out of the room. He jumped up and sat on her bed. Just starring all over her room. Her sent was all over her room. He picked up her pillow and smelled it then sighed. She wants to be with me? She wants to stay by my side? All of a sudden he heard laughing coming from down stairs. He jumped out the window and ran to the nearest open window. Luckily there was one that over looked the group in the living room and also into the kitchen.

A few hours went by and all of the boys left, except for one. Kagome was looking like she had no more patience for her aunts constant talking.

"kagome…"the boy said.

"Yes gentu" Kagome replied

"would you join me in the kitchen?"

"yes that is lovely idea," her aunt went on "yes kagome go and join him. You two should have some alone time."

They both blushed as he escorted her to the kitchen. Inu yasha became worried. Alone…he's going to try something I just know it. Him and that innocent Act!. He moved to another window that over looked kitchen better.

"im sorry that you have to go threw this kagome." Gentu said.

"im use to it"

"you mean that she does this all the time?"

"yeah, my mom and I try to avoid her but she always finds a way"

they both share a giggle. She sat at the table as he walked over to her sitting beside her.

"I am so sorry about all this. I have no intent on making you do anything you don't want." They both smile at each other.

"thanks." Kagome replied

"so how is it all going anyway? Anything interesting happen yet? Sparks, embarrassing moments?" he looked at her with a playful smile.

"no not yet..." she blushed again…

"Are you ok. I have noticed that you haven't really been here. Kind of day dreamy."

"I don't know what you mean. I'm fine" but really she had been thinking about the moment she shared with inu yasha earlier.

"Ok if you say so." He smiled knowing she is lying. The conversation continued for another hour or so. They laughed almost the entire time while inu yasha was outside getting angrier and angrier.

"ok well I have to get going, but i really enjoyed spending time with you. Do you think that we can do it again sometime?"

"umm…s-s-sure" she said with this huge fake smile. She got up and walked him to the door.

He reached over to her and gave her a hug. "good bye kagome" just then we hear the bushes rustle and a growl. "whats that"

"sit" she said quickly. We hear a large thud, "its nothing , ill talk to again sometime" she goes inside and closes the door. She looks out the window to check to she if hes gone. All of a sudden we see a rock fly out of bush that was, moments ago, rustling and hit gentu.

"ouch!" he turned around "where did that come from?"

he took one more look at the house before climbing into his car and driving off. Kagome quickly swung open the door and screamed, "inu yash, get in my room now". She saw him jump up onto the roof. Kagome ran as fast as her legs can carry her um the stares and into her room. Inu yasha was sitting on her bed against the wall when kagome nearly breaks the door down. She came stares at him with the fire of a thousand suns burning around her. She looked at the terrified inu yasha who was not shaking and sweating. Her face softened as she saw inu yasha's ears twitch. "you didn't have to ease drop." She said calmly. He, still scared, stared at her as she walked over to him and sat on the bed. "inu yasha, I want you to know that I have to intent of getting married to any of those guys. My heart doesn't belong to them. I'm waiting for the one I love to claim me."

"kagome, who is this guy" he said sadly. Amazed that he didn't figure it out she turns to him and smiles.

"You'll figure it out". She then lays on her bed with her head next to inu yasha. She closes her eyes. He reached down and started to play with her hair. She smiles.

They packed her things ready for the morning. She wanted to stay the night dressed her self in her PJs. She fell asleep to him watching her.

"Kagome…" he said testing to see if she was asleep. "I love you". As he closes his eyes he heard her mummer something in her sleep.

"inu yasha…"she whispered. "please don't leave me"

she's dreaming about me.

"please inu yasha, I love you, don't leave me"

his heart stopped. She loves me? Just then she opens her eyes to see inu yasha standing over her.

"what is it, is everything ok?" he continued to stare at her.. "inu yasha, whats wrong?" his eyes never left her. He knew that she loved him and he loved her more than anything. "say something" she said quietly. They both felt the tension between them as Inu Yasha moved in closer and closer. Her heart about stopped. His lips touched her bringing them an overwhelming sensation of pleasure. She closed her eyes and allowed him to gently slide his tongue in her mouth. She gave a slight moan. This continued until inu yasha pulled away.

"kagome, will you stay by my side?" he asked staring into her eyes.

"im never going to leave your side" she replies with a soft smile. He smiles as he jumps onto her bed and lays down in his side. She turned to face him.
