Disclaimer: I don't own Sesshomaru or Rin or any of the Inuyasha cast. I don't own the song Tumbling Toward Ecstasy either. I do own Lord Ringo his father and Ringo's four wives.

(A/N: Sorry it took me so long, my summer has been really busy and I've had a lot of storms around where I live so I haven't be on my computer. Plus I had a huge case of Writer's Block which looks like I've gotten rid of it. So I hope this chapter makes up for it all.)

Title: Cry of the Heart

Chapter 4: Finding Ecstasy

Yes indeed he was going to show her, that she was no long a mere human. She was going to learn how to stand up for herself; for she was now the Lady of the Western Lands and she deserved to have the proper respect. His foot steps were soft as he made his way toward the bed where his mate now laid.

"You are not injured are you Rin? No physical harm came upon you did it?"

Sesshomaru's voice remained soft and icy as he spoke. He then waited for a reply from Rin. Her eyes remained cast down to her lap as she answered him.

"No my Lord it did not."

Her voice had been so soft that if it had not been for his demon senses he would have never heard her. Sesshomaru's amber orbs widened as he look at Rin.

'She is afraid of me, but why? Never has she shown fear of me.'

Sesshomaru then drew his attention back to the fact that she still refused to look at him directly.

"Rin I demand that you raise your head and look at me."

He sneered when she did not move.

"Why do you defy me? What is it that you hide from this Sesshomaru?"

Upon moving even closer to the bed, his nose picked up the slight scent of her blood. His voice became soft and smooth as he spoke to her once more.

"Let me see your face. Lord Ringo did harm you physically did he not? I merely wish to see the damage he has done."

"It isn't that serious, it doesn't even hurt anymore."

Sesshomaru gently placed the thumb of his right hand on her right cheek, making her slowly bring her eyes up to meet with his.

"I believe I shall be the judge of that."

His now gleaming golden eyes scanned over the damage done to her left cheek and the side of her lip. A large purple bruise was forming on her cheek, the skin in the left corner of her mouth was cracked and swollen, and blood was now drying into place.

Sesshomaru's eyes darkened to a slight red as his gaze fell upon Rin's bruised and swollen lips. He knew that this was not from a kiss, for the side of her face was bruised as well.

"He has caused damage to your fair skin, perhaps I should damage his?"

Rin's response to Sesshomaru's question was placing her own hand over his that lay gently on the side of her face.

"No, Sesshomaru please do not do that. I do not wish to be the cause of a war."

Sesshomaru stared at the softness in Rin's eyes as he kissed her forehead.

"As you wish Rin, however if he ever comes near what is mine again. I will not hesitate in causing him great pain, or in taking his life."

Sesshomaru's lips brushed lightly against Rin's as he stood and walked over to a basin sitting on a small table and pour water into it. He then dipped the end of a soft white cloth into it. Sesshomaru then turned and gracefully walked back toward Rin.

He then touched the left corner of her mouth where the blood had dried. Once the blood was wiped away, Sesshomaru once again brought his warm soft lips against hers'.

"Rin would you do me the honor of removing my haori?"

Rin reached out toward her lord's yellow and blue sash as she pulled it open. The moment her cinnamon orbs met with Sesshomaru's golden honey ones, she knew what he was asking of her. He wished to blanket her body with his own and make love to her this night. Her soft velvet hands slid across the soft white fabric of his haori, no Rin was not afraid, her lord had taken her on the silky wings of paradise once before.

[All the fear has left me now,

I'm not frightened anymore.

It's my heart that pounds beneath my flesh

It's my mouth that pushes out this breath

And if I shed a tear I won't cage it.]

Sesshomaru's soft and velvety lips seemed to perform a delicate dance upon Rin's lips as he pulled her closer to him. His haori slid slowly from his shoulders from his own quick movements. Rin's heart thumped wildly as a strange kind of excitement seemed to be building within her body. She was unsure of how long she could control this strange and wondrous feeling.

[I won't fear love and if I feel a rage I won't deny it.

I won't fear love.]

Sesshomaru's lips stayed in placed as he undid the sash that was holding Rin's kimono on her body. The minute the satin sash fell away so did her maroon and white kimono made of silk. His lips slowly made their way down to Rin's neck and then her collarbone. Rin's body shivered slowly as Sesshomaru's right hand caressed the bare flesh of her back. He then slowly lowered her body down onto the bed.

Rin pulled in a quick breath as Sesshomaru's tongue wrapped around the tip of her breast, causing the end to become taut with readiness. Sesshomaru then buried his nose in the crook of her neck as he pulled in the wonderfully sweet scent rolling from Rin's body.

[companion to our demons they will dance and we will play.

with chairs, candles and clothes making darkness in the day.]

After tasting Rin's sweet flesh all the way to her navel with his tongue. Sesshomaru's lips once again returned to hers. The sheer need to feel her body rock with him as he filled her body seemed to intensify as he leaned in closer to her body. Rin shook her head from side to side as her body was over come by pure ecstasy.

[it will be easy to look in or out

upstream or down without a thought

and if I shed a tear I won't cage it

I won't fear love and if I feel a

rage I won't deny it. I won't fear love.]

Rin parted her legs as the tip of his throbbing heat beckon for entrance within her. Each time her lord touched her body Rin felt herself bend to his every desire. If one was to watch the great lord, they would say the same went for him as well. Every time Rin gave him great pleasure with each of her sweet caresses he in turned desired to return the favor to his lady.

Sesshomaru quicken his pace as he thrusted his heat deeper in to her core. His seed slipping from him as he did so, causing Rin to moan in sweet bliss as her hips rocked along with his. She felt as if she were soaring she was sure that Sesshomaru was soaring into the clouds as well.

[peace in a struggle to find peace

comfort on the way to comfort

An hour later the two lovers lay molded to each other as if they truly were one being. Sesshomaru was sure that anyone with a sense of smell as good as his knew that he had just bedded his young wife, his life mate. Just as sure as he knew that anyone within three miles knew that the Lord of the Western Lands; would take the head of Lord Yoshi's son Lord Ringo if he dared to touch his wife again.

Lord Yoshi Lord of the Southern Lands drew in a shaky breath as Sesshomaru's anger toward his elder son filter through the air. He now knew that he must curb Ringo's lustful ways. For it was clear that Sesshomaru would only let it go once and if Ringo laid one claw on Lady Rin again. The fate of Yoshi's eldest son would be sealed.

Yoshi knew that his son had four wives as well as a few whores. None of Ringo's wives had bared him a child, sadly one of his human whores had for she was even now very heavy with child.

Lord Yoshi had grown angry at learning this, not because he hated humans but for the mere fact that his eldest son had made a child with a woman who was not his wife. Yoshi however, despite what ever cruel words his son had spoken to Lady Rin. Knew that Ringo did not view all female humans as toys, for when his son's four wives were out of their palace. Lord Yoshi had seen Ringo share soft tender moments with his human lover Suma. She was indeed very lovely her long flowing dark brown hair, her soft tan colored skin. Her deep violet eyes shimmered like to giant gems.

Ringo lowered his head once more when his father glared at him again. His golden colored hair hid his face as he did so. Why was all he kept asking himself why had he been so foolish? He had four beautiful wives as well as a few whores; he even had his sweet Suma. So why had he acted the way he had? Jealous it had been pure jealousy of Lord Sesshomaru. He had been brave enough to take a human for his bride; he had done what Lord Toga had done with Lady Izayoi.

"I am sorry father. I am ashamed of my behavior today. It shall never happen again."

Yoshi's honey colored eyes looked over at Ringo. In his son's dark blue eyes he saw deep regret.

"I should hope so. Just because you have two younger brothers does not mean that I wish for one of them to take my place instead of you."

Ringo stopped as he felt his father place a hand on his shoulder.

"I understand why you did what you did. If you are that unhappy with your wives you could always break the marking seal on their bodies. Then you would be free of them, if that is what you desire. I know for a fact that your fourth wife storm demon Miyoko plans on asking you if she may leave your side. It was my understanding that you never finished marking her, and so she is free to go."

Ringo slowly nodded his head as he answered his father.

"Hai, yes she is. Miyoko deserves to be happy, that is something that I can not make her."

Yoshi continued to watch his son as they were led to the guest house. It was now that he understood what his son was worrying over Suma.

"If your heart truly lies with that Suma then make her your wife. I know this because I see the light that jumps into your eyes when she is near you. Also she is carrying your child, a child you will never be able to love openly if you do not take its mother as a wife. It will be born a hanyou and it will be looked down upon in the demon world and human world, but to be called a bastard child is the worst thing that could happen to it."

Ringo knew that every word that his father spoke was true. However, how could he follow his heart when he had not done sooner? He had been afraid; no he had been a coward. In many ways he guessed he still was one.

"How can I? When I asked Akako, Takai, and Yei to be my wives I promised that I would honor them. How can I honor them if I take Suma as a wife?"

Ringo looked up at his father hoping to find an answer, but he did not. He was a little happy now that he knew that Miyoko could go and find her happiness. He was startled when his father spoke to him.

"The three of them are not blind they know how you feel about Sumaand they do not hate you. Each one of them holds their own compassion differently. However it was Takai who can to me, she wishes for you to mark Suma as one of your mates. In doing so she steps away from the title of second wife. She has known you from child hood and she told me that she could not see her self loving you any more then a friend and companion."

Ringo couldn't believe what he was hearing. Before he could question his father further, Yoshi continued to speak.

"Takai also confess to me of taking an herb that kept her from becoming with child as well. She said that her main goal was to see you happy and if having Suma as a mate made you happy then so be it. However my son I believe you should still spend time with Akako when you can, though very caring of others her toleration is very slim after all she is your first wife, good night my son."

Ringo bowed to his father as the both were lead to different chambers. His deep blue eyes widened as his glaze fell on his three wives and then two Suma. Yei stood up from her bowing position, followed by Takai and then Akako, The wolf demon followed by the dog demoness left the room. Akako gave him an all know look.

`I pray my lord shall come tonight and seek his head lady's company.'

Ringo only nodded to her as he turned back to Suma. She was here his beautiful night flower his jasmine. For now since she was in a delicate condition he would just mark her as his wife. The bonding part of the ritual would have to come after the child was born. His lips nipped at her cherry lips as his hands stroked her swollen belly. Ringo's tongue then slid across the skin of Suma's neck. He then gently bit into her flesh. A smile broke across his lips as he felt the skin on her neck become warm. A small yellow sun now lay where he had bitten her.

"Suma, I want nothing but to stay with you. You truly are the first person I have truly loved since my mother."

Suma smiled up at her lord, she understood what he meant. However with her being so far along in her pregnancy it was hard for her to perform the nightly duties of a wife. More to the point Akako had been very clear that she would be the one to see to their lord's nightly desires.

Her voice was soft and gentle like a spring time breeze as she spoke to Ringo, her fingers trailing across his chest.

"I understand what my lord means. However I have to wonder if my lord will truly enjoy his time with Lady Akako tonight?"

Lord Ringo captured Lady Suma's lips once more, before he gently pulled away from her. He bowed to her and then excused himself from his room. Having bonded with Akako he knew exactly where he could find her. Yes right now he needed to quail his sexual desires that being with Suma had brought upon him. Akako was just as lovely as Suma, dark wavy locks; her skin was the same color as Suma as well. However, it was Akako's pointy ears and ruby colored eyes that one could see the difference. That and the well know fact that one was a pure blooded dog demon and the one a human.

Ringo sighed as he opened the door to Akako's room. Akako's ruby eyes danced as she gazed upon her lord. She then came to him her delicate fingers running down his neck as her maroon colored lips captured his pink one's within them. Akako slowly started to disrobe Ringo his midnight and gold haori falling to the floor as she removed his sash.

In one fluent movement both stood nude before the other, their mouth pressed hungry against the other. Ringo lowered her down on to the bed. Akako twined her arms around her lord's neck as he straddled her body with his. His member throbbed painfully for he was in great need of release. Ringo closed his eyes as Akako ran her fingers down his back, her lord was fully aroused and she knew that his arousal was not all because of her. But for a wife that was unable to give him the pleasures he wished for.

Ringo's heated member slowly pushed its way through her woman's folds. Once he was inside he moaned and rocked as he filled her with him. In one quick thrust his seed spilled into her womb. Akako had become shock at the way her lord had locked himself within her. Once he was through he relaxed as removed himself from within her. Ringo panted as his eyes slowly drifted shut, he was now spent and he was sure that Akako was as well.

A small smile graced his lips as he fell into a peaceful slumber. He would rest himself here for a while and then he would go and spend the rest of the night with the woman who had laid claim to his heart and soul his Suma.

Inuyasha purred lightly as Kagome continued to rub his ears.

"You know it's hard for me to stay mad when you do that."

Kagome giggled and nodded her head.

"Yep I know that's why I enjoy doing it so much."

Inuyasha then leaned over and gently nibbled at the mark he had made on her neck. A small moan escaped from within Kagome as he did so.

"Inu…yasha stop you know it's hard for me to resist you. Besides the way these little one's have been moving around today. I don't think I'll be doing much sleeping tonight either."

Inuyasha raised an eyebrow up at his wife and life mate right before he smirked at her.

"Ha. You finally admitted that I was right and that you're carrying twins again."

Kagome then sighed to herself.

`The only reason why I didn't say anything, is because I didn't want his ego to get any bigger then it already was. Oh well so much for that thought, aw great now he will go off boasting to Sesshomaru or something.'

She then quickly brought a hand to her swollen abdomen and gently rubbed on it. Concern shimmered within his golden orbs as he watched Kagome rub her sore abdomen.

"Are they doing a lot of kicking now?"

She gave him a small smile as she looked at him.

"More like the two of them are doing a tap dance inside me."

Inuyasha placed a hand over her swollen abdomen just as one of the pups kicked causing a little foot to hit his hand. Inuyasha then smiled up at Kagome.

"I guess it's a good thing that there is a wall of skin between me and this kid, or I would have an arm right now."

"That's easy for you to say you're not the one being assaulted from the inside."

Inuyasha just smiled at her as he slowly began to massage her belly. After a while the moment became slower and slower until there was no movement at all.

"I think I put them to sleep."

Kagome smiled at him as her eyes drooped closed.

"They're not the only one's you put to sleep. Mmmm, that felt so good."

Inuyasha just smirked as he snuggled closer to his wife. His left arm lay protectively over her womb were their new pups slept. Miroku was right he would be in heaven just as long as Kagome was with him.

Sesshomaru smiled as he glanced down at Rin's sleeping form. She seemed so at peace however he also knew that nightmares would follow her at times. Yet from now on he knew that if she ever was awake by those terrible nightmares again he would be there, it was deepest wish that while she laid by his side that she would not be trouble by such horrid dreams.

As he watched her sleep Sesshomaru slowly raked his fingers through her long dark brown locks. Rin's eyes fluttered open as he did so, surprising him just a tiny bit.

"I have awakened you, apologize that was not my intention."

Rin just smiled up at him as she spoke.

"I was already awake. My thoughts were keeping me from, falling a sleep."

Sesshomaru nodded at her as he turned to look out the window at the night sky. Moonbeams from the full moon seem to dance across the stone floor.

"I see. What were your thoughts about may I ask?"

Rin was unsure of how exactly she should answer her lord and then it came to her.

"I was trying to get a better understanding of Lord Ringo's actions today. The more I think about it, I think all those horrible things he said to me were all lies."

Upon hearing this Sesshomaru turned back around to look at Rin once again.

"What would make you think such a thing?"

Rin just shrugged her shoulders as she continued to speak.

"His eyes, I never saw any hatred for me in his eyes, just for you when he spoke your name. It's almost seemed as if he was jealous of you for marrying me. Do you know why he would be so jealous of you Sesshomaru?"

"I haven't the faintest idea Rin. Now get some sleep a few of the lords and ladies shall return tomorrow to show their respect. Once they leave we will be able to have more time with my little brother and his wife."

Sesshomaru told a deep breath; he would have to spend more one on one time with his…with Inuyasha. Yes for Rin he would put up with his brother's rude behavior a little longer the he had planned. All in all he knew he would manage some how.
