A/N~Ok heres my own fic to my own challenge to get things started, lol, hoping others will join in the fun. Not much plot, just for fun hope you like..huggles Mija..:-)..ONE SHOT

~~~Sango and Miroku had been out helping exterminate a minor demon in another village when Inuyasha and Kagome heard rumors of a shard up towards the west. So instead of waiting they headed out and soon came to a stop. Kagome was becoming very confussed and frowing.

"What is it Kagome?..dont tell my you lost the trail of the shard?" Inu asked with irritation.

"No I havent lost it..its just...well it hasnt moved at all since Ive sensed it..its like its just waiting there for us..its odd Inuyasha and I dont like it." came Kagome's worried reply. Since the second she had sensed the shard it hadnt moved at all. This had never happened before, she feared it was a trap.

"Feh, maybe something or someone killed the damn demon and didnt know about the shard, would be nice to finally get one with out much of a fuss." Inu smirked as he headed back in the direction Kagome had said the shard was in.

~~~Soon they came to a clearing and Kagome dismounted from Inuyasha's back, looking towards the edge of the tree line with wide eyes. Inuyasha looked in that direction as well and couldnt tell what the heck she was so freaked about. All he saw was a bunch of wierd ass looking plants, one humungous bulbus one in the center of it all with deep yellow along its bulbous like pod. Yes it was a wierd ass plant but what the hell did Inuyasha care about plants? He wanted shards.

"So where the hell is the demon? Can you still see the shard Kagome?" He asked with annoyance. Kagome nodded.

"Well?!!" he growled.

"Its in the plant..the big yellow one in the middle." she replied absently. Inuyasha looked back at the plant and smirked.

"In the plant?? are you sure?? how the hell a plant has a shard is wierd but how no other demons have gotten it is even wierder, but what the hell..easy work for me." he added as he pulled out Tetsaiga and jumped up in the air coming down with his fang sword to make salad out of the freakishly huge plant, but before he could come down and slice it in half the top of the bulb seemed to split open and this strange yellowish spore like stuff came shooting out, causing Inuyasha to suck a lung full and start coughing like he couldnt breath. Seeing this Kagome ran to him and soon she too was choking on the thick yellowish spore as the plant let out more of it when she got closer. The next thing Kagome saw or heard vaguely before she fell uncounscience was the sight of a green whip like thing and a flash of white. Then everything went black.

~~~Why he had saved them he still could not phathom. He had been patroling his lands as usual and had heard of strange dissappearances in a clearing to the eastern side of his lands. When he arrived he had arrived to see his foul mouthed half brother preparing to slice an enormous plant with Tetsaiga. But the plant had protected itself and shot some odd yellow mist at him then Inuyasha had fallen to the ground choking. The human wench that followed him about, ran to his half brother and soon met the same fate as his brother had. What niether of them noticed, but which Sesshoumaru had was all the skeletons that lay about the bulbous plant, nestled among the other smaller plants and vines attatched to the huge one. Apperantly this large plant was carnivorous, it stunned its victoms or poisoned them, then ate them no doubt. The odd thing about it all was that Sesshoumaru couldnt get the nagging feeling that something was not right. Something about the skeletal remains was off somehow. Then it hit him. They were all small, like those of children. How strange. Either way he had taken his energy whip, sliced the plant to shreds from a distance, so not to fall prey to its yellow cloud, then dashed in and grabbed both his brother and his annoyingly odd wench.

~~~Disgusted with that one act of kindness towards the brother he despised, Sesshoumaru deposited his brother and his wench in another clearing and left them there. If they died they died, if they survived then so be it, he would just kill Inuyasha later. He hadnt gotten far when he heard an earth shattering scream that had him cringing at the volume of it. Noticing it had come from the same clearing he had left his brother and the wentch he went back to see what had occured. Thats when he saw a sight that made even his mask of indiffrence fall for just a second. There in the clearing was a young child, no more than about five years old screaming her fool head off as she clung to another child, as she sat atop his head gripping his silver mane and dog ears.

"AAAAAIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!..help help kill it kill it kill it!!" the girl child screamed, looking rather odd trying to climb and stay atop the silver haired child, who looked to be about five as well.

"Get off meeeeee!!! Get offfffffff!" came the angry but fearfull voice of the silver haired hanyou child in red, as he tried to pull the girl child off of his head and away from him.

"KILLLLLLLLLLLL ITTTTTTTTTT PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" the female child continued to scream and Sesshoumaru looked around trying to see what the child was soo affraid of and what she wanted dead. Then he saw it and he almost fell out of the tree limb he was standing in. It was a beetle bug no bigger than his thumb chewing on a blade of grass a few feet from the two chibi's.

~~~Finally getting the girl off his head a five year old Inuyasha walked over to the beetle and stomped it dead. Then he turned angerly at the girl who sat on the ground with her legs pulled up to her small chest, her arms wrapped around her knees. She stared wide eyed and fearfull at the dead bug. Inuyasha made a disgusted face and stomped over to her.

"Stupid girl, it was just a beetle...why didja have to go and pull my hair for..stupid girl." came the child like voice of Inuyasha. Before he could do anything else he was on the ground again with his head in the girls lap as she stroked his ears.

"How Kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiii....puppy ears..." she giggled happily as she stroked the puppy boys ears. It hadnt occured to her that she was alone in the forest with some odd boy she didnt know, but he had killed the evil bug and he had puppy ears!

"Will ya stop that?? STOP IT!" little Inu shouted, but his leg was pumping soflty and his eyes had a dreamy sort of look to them.

"Whats your name?" asked the now chibified Kagome, as she continued to rub the puppy boys ears.

"My names Inuyasha...who are you?" he asked as he reluctantly pulled away from the girl in a way short kimono.

"Im Hiragashi Kagome but my mommy calls me Gome." she replied with a smile then a frown.

"Whats wrong Gome?" Inuyasha asked as he crawled closer and looked at her sad face.

"Wheres my mommy and daddy?" she asked, tears forming in her eyes.

" I dont know..do you know where my mommy is??" he asked, now realizing that he didnt know where his beloved mother was. Just then they heard a soft noise and turned to see a tall man with silver hair and elf ears, with a large fluffy thing draped over his shoulder, he had stripes on his face and a blue cresent moon on his forehead. When Inuyasha saw him his face lit up and he got up running to the man.

"Oniisannnn!" Inu cried happily as he ran to his big brother, although Sesshy looked alot older than the last time he remembered seeing him, but for now, just knowing his big brother was there was a big relief. He hadnt wanted the wierd girl to know but he had been a bit scared.

~~~Sesshoumaru cocked a raised eyebrow at the chibi running towards him, calling him brother. Before he could say a word the child that was Inuyasha plastered himself to his leg and held on tight.

"Let me go now or I will be forced to kill you." came the stoic emotionless voice of Sesshoumaru as he looked down at his half brother. From what he could tell his brother and wentch had been changed into children by the plant, thus explaining the odd stature of the skelital remains around it. For some odd reason the plants fumes shrunk its victoms and reverted them to thier younger forms, and when they were helpless and innocent, it ate them. Crude.

"Oniisan?" Inuyasha looked up at his older brother with big amber gold eyes. His brother had just threatened to kill him.

"Do not call me that." came Sesshoumaru's blank tone. Then to his utter horror his very younger brother began to sniffle and then big fat tears welled up in the hanyou's eyes. Inuyasha had no memory of anything other than what had happened when he was five years old. Back then Sesshoumaru had been his Oniisan, his big brother, his idol, his mom and dad were still alive and his Oniisan had loved him.

~~~Seeing the cold look in Sesshoumaru's eyes and hearing his cruel cold words Inuyasha let go of his big brothers leg and plopped onto his butt and started to sniffle, as tears rolled down his eyes. He was trying so hard not to cry but he couldnt help it. He was only five years old for goodness sakes and his big brother had just told him to not call him brother and said he would kill him, and the look on Sesshy's face told Inu he meant it. This made him very very sad.

"What did I do Oniisan?? why are you mad at me?" sniffled Inu. Sess looked at Inu and quirked an eyebrow.

"I am not mad at you and you did nothing wrong..I just dont like you." came his thoughtless reply. At those words little Inu broke out crying with all his broken heart. Seeing all of this little Kagome got mad. Straightening her shoulders and balling her tiny fists she stomped over to the large elf man and looked up at him with her face scrunched up in anger, then before Sesshomaru realized what she was about to do, she kicked him hard in the chins.

"You big bully!!..You big Meanie!!" she shouted as she kicked him yet again. Sesshoumaru didnt flinch or move a muscle as she kicked him. He just glared down at her with distaste. Then once more to the shock of the poor demon lord, Inu jumped up and stomped over to the wentch with murder in his eyes.

"Dont you kick my big brother!" he shouted at her. She wheeled around and looked at Inu with surprise then anger.

"But he was being mean to you." she said.

"SO? no one kicks my brother..especially not a stupid human girl..and an ugly human girl too." he replied, puffing his tiny chest out to intimidate her. She glared daggers at him just before she kicked him in the chin as well. Inu fell over and held his knee.

"Owwiie!..whyja do that for you stupid girl!" he yelled and Sesshoumaru felt a major head ache coming on. He really disliked children, except Rin, she knew how to obey and how to behave in his precense, unlike these two. Just then the wentchs stomache grumbled. They all looked at her and she blushed and giggled.

"Im hungy." came her simple reply.

"Wait here..I will hunt you both some dinner..it is getting late." came Sesshoumaru's tired voice as he sighed. He needed to get away from these two. Yes it had crossed him mind to just leave them alone and not come back, but he could not bring himself to do so. If they had been thier normal selves then he would have no trouble leaving them, but they were but pups, and wether he liked his brother or not, he was blood and Inu youkai did not leave thier pups alone, to be prey for others much stronger and bigger than them.

~~~Sesshoumaru came back with a rabbit and had a fire going by nightfall. Soon the pups had eaten and then began to argue among themselves. Sesshoumaru's headache grew and again he felt the need to distance himself from them.

"Stay by the fire..I will return shortly." he commanded emotionesly. Inu looked up at him worried, as the wentch looked at him with her big soul full eyes, fear in them.

"What is it?" he asked with a sigh.

"Its dark..your not leaving us are you Oniisan?" Inu asked worridly.

"Im scared of the dark, and what if bugs come out to eat us?" came the wentches question.

"Bugs do not eat human..." then he looked at his brother and added.

"Or hanyou brats...I will not be far just stay by the fire." he replied and quickly left before they said another word.

~~~After a few hours he had calmed down enough to venture back towards the pups. He had not been far from then and had heard every word they had said but tried his best to just tone them out. He hadnt heard anything for awhile and decided to check on them. When he got back to the camp he saw them both by the fire. They were fast asleep and huddled together out of fear or need for warmth. Giving a grateful sigh he sat down a short distance away from then and sat at the base of a tree and leaned his back against it. He had just closed his eyes when he heard a noise. Opening one eyes just a slit he watched as Inu sleepily made his way over to him and crawled into his lap and fell asleep. Sesshoumaru just stared at the small pup in his lap and felt a small twist in his chest. He was unsure of what to do. Throw the pup off of him or let him be. Just then the girl woke up, looked at them and came over to them as well and to his horror crawled inot his lap as well and cuddled next to Inuyasha and fell asleep.

~~~Sesshoumaru gave up. What was he to do? With that he allowed himself to fall asleep with the pups in his lap, safe from any harm. Just before sunrise he woke up to the very interesting site of Inuyasha and his wentch growing. It looked like the plants poison had only been temporary and they were returning to thier natural states. As gently as he could and as quietly as he could he got out from underneath them and speed as fast and as far away as he could. He hoped like hell they would not remember what had happened, as it was he wished to the Gods he didnt remember what had occured. He had actually had Inuyasha within his grasp, helpless to defend himself, and what did he do?? Kill him? NOOO, he had fed them and let them sleep on his lap for Kami's sake. With a growl he let out a uncharactoristic string of curses and speed off back to his castle.

~~~The sun shone down on the sleeping pair and both woke up groggily and with a massive head ache.

"Inuyasha?...what happened?? where are we?" Kagome asked, now all grown up and back to her original form. As was Inu.

"Hell if I know..the last thing I remember is going for that freakish plant then everything went black." Inuyasha replied with a low growl as he held his head as the pain in it threatened to bust out.

"Did we win?" Kagome asked, unable to think of anything else to say, her head really really hurt.

"Hell if I know..once this damn headache goes away I'll go back and check." Inu replied as he layed back down on the ground underneath the shade of the tree they had woken up under.

"Good idea....Inu???" she called to him.

"What?" he growled then yelped at the pain in his head.

"Why do I have white fluffy stuff in my hair?" she asked as she pulled out some very soft fluffy fur like things from her hair, then plucked one off of Inuyasha's hair as well.

"Who the hell knows and who the hell cares?..just shut the fuck up already my heads killing me." came Inuyasha's reply. Kagome shrugged her shoulders and layed down next to Inuyasha thinking a little nap was a very good idea. The ache in her head would not leave, yes a nap would be good she thought as she cuddled next to Inuyasha only to jump on his lap with a high pitched eeeep.

"What the fuck???" Inu growled, jolted up by her wieght on him and the pain in his head when she screamed.

"A bug!!..Kill it kill it kill it!" she cried and Inuyasha kehed as he sqooshed the evil bug then fell back to take a nap.

A/N~Okies heres my one shot Chibi Challenge fic...omg did it suck as much as I think it did??? sigh..anyway hope you enjoyed and let me know what ya think..and I hope I get to read some Chibi challenge fics from you guys soon..till laters much huggles and smiles Mija..:-)..oooh I soo hope I got the name for big brother and cute right..*sweatdrops* first time ive tried to used Japanese words Im not too familiar with..so forgive me if I got it wrong, just going by what Ive been told..and I know Sesshy is a bit OOC in this but im going by the theory that Inu and Sesshy had spend some time together as kids..anyhow let me know what ya think..huggles..:-)
