A young man hummed merrily as he set down a bloody scalpel and whipped his stained crimson hands on his white lab coat. He grabbed a weirdly shaped pair of scissors and sliced through a wire, stripping it of its cover before connecting the copper to a metal compartment somewhere in the chest cavity. Electronic devises bleeped eagerly and a robot hand, connected to the table he stood in front of, picked up another utensil and placed it in his hand.
“Thank you Fingers,” he said as he pressed the tab key on the board at its base so it could complete its next task.
The movable monitor behind him switched on and turned toward him. “?”
Fingers turned towards the monitor and flexed its fingers simultaneously to wave.
“Hi ^^”
The man taped Fingers and it turned back to him with an input output cord linked to the computer. The man linked it up to a side of the metal skull and turned to type on the computer, almost knocking his head into the monitor.
“Hi ^^”
“Oh! Hello sir. So you've hacked into my dear Monitor have you?” The man smiled and the monitor rotated up and down in a nod. “Well than, would you like to see how you're coming along? I've done some repairs, but your hardware is complex. I can't tell if technology was used with your body or if you were used with technology.” With that he chuckled. He moved aside to type something out on one of his many electronic devises, allowing the monitor alone with his body.
“?!”
“You were in pretty bad shape when I found you. I was thinking you'd weigh a ton but you were as heavy as an ordinary kid. What 130? 140? I can't tell right now. Maybe when we get you running again we'll have you weighed. You'd probably be hungry hu? Your stomach seems intact; brain and heart are the same too. Your kidney's been replaced though. So has your skeleton... What happened to you?” He turned around to find the monitor turned towards him.
“@...@”
“Ha! Too mush for you to handle hu? You may be robot, but you don't have the super computer brain!”
The man walked over to the body again and hovered his hand over Finger's tab key. “This is going to send a jolt of electricity through your system and get some of your parts working again. It'll shock you, so get ready.” With that he pressed down on the key and the monitor lurched forward on its flexible bindings.
“X|” was the last symbol shown on the gelled screen before it clicked off.
