Kagome and Kouga meet

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*Kouga's P.O.V.*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Here I was, thinking I actually get to get away from my duties and my `pack' when I hear an earsplitting scream.It sounded like a young boy's scream,maybe around my age!(Kouga's only seven)

I ran to check it out.I pushed through the prickly bushes to see a young boy ,about a 2 years younger than me,passed out on a Leaf Green elemental cat youkai. In front of the cat is a beautiful young demoness with her back to me. She looked about a year younger than me. She suddenly slashed at a BIG bird youkai.

It was red with an ugly yellow tail.He quickly dodged the young demon's attack with narrowed eyes.

The demoness then pulled a sword out of thin air! It had flames dancing around it and the demoness.I recognized it as Tetsutaiga that belonged to my favorite demoness.

She drew back her hand then ,as far as I could tell, slashed the Bird like 6 times. She then sheathed her sword at her hip.

I counted and found out she had cut the about 17 times and was burning from the flames.

I then heard her growl…

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*Kagome's POV*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

After I killed the bird with my Fire Wind, I smelt a young wolf youkai and growled,hoping he would take the hint and leave.

He didn't. I turned around and looked in the general direction he was in.I glared at a certain bush.

I decided I would taunt him with my pshyic powers.Do you wish to end up like that baka bird I just killed?I taunted.

I took a deep breath and immediately recognized the scent of grass and rain water,with a little musty cave smell. It was..Kouga!

Do you wish to end up like that bird I just killed?I heard in my mind.

I'd recognize that voice anywhere! "Kagome?!"I asked hopefully.

"Kouga" she sneered. "How has YOUR day been?Hopefully better than mine.Come out of the bushes where I can see you."she said with a little authority in her voice.

Kouga quickly applied.He cautiously looked at her face.It was indeed his Kagome.

Kouga had always had a crush on little Kagome since their second meeting.My Kagome has returned!

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*Kag's POV*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I was reading his thoughts.My Kagome has returned!I looked at him with narrowed eyes and a raised eyebrow. "Keep dreaming lover boy.I wasn't and NEVER will be YOUR woman!"

Kouga look at me with mysterious eyes before saying,"It really is you!"

I looked at him with disbelief before I remembered my problem.I smirked.I knew the wolf would do ANYTHING for me except give me away without a fight.

"Kouga dear, I need some help with this problem of mine.While my dad was off on `business',also known as fucking a certain miko bitch, my mom was killed by some evil force that seemed bent on embalming my okassan.

"She told me to come to your dad and show him our family necklace.She also said that he would help me and Souta,who seems to have passed out.So…I was wondering if you could show me to your dad?"I asked a little uncertainly.

*~*~*~*~*~*Kouga's POV*~*~*~*~*~*

I was delighted when she called me "dear", but when she talked about her dad,I had a look of horror on my face.Why would he do that to her beautiful mother?When she told me about her okaasan's death, I looked mortified.

An evil force killed her mother?!I then took on the look of understanding when she talked about the necklace.It meant that someone had died and the person carrying it was in need of help.

"I'll gladly escort you and your..er..cat and brother to my dad!"I said proudly.

"Her name is Shiezu!Got it?!She-Zu!"said my beloved with an angry face.I loved it when she was mad,even though I normally got hurt.

"Okay.Shiezu"I said with dignity.'Let's go!"

We ran to my father's elegant castle.From a distance it was shaped like a wolf,so it's called Wolf Castle.(how creative I am since I'm in Encounters!I really am!^_^)It was just above the orange-red horizon.

In a matter of seconds we passed through the Sea-green gates of the castle walls.I looked behind me to see Kagome a little behind me and Shiezu right next to her.It shocked that the cat could keep up.I was running as fast as I could and her and Kagome looked like they were jogging!

We went through the doors and dropped of the cat and Souta in his guest room.We put Kagome's Bag in her room, which had been made especially for her since she came every month for meetings and such.Her room was joined to my room,which I thought was the best feature.

We walked slowly to the Study where my dad was.We talked about the last time Kagome visited. "Remember when Sango and Miroku played that trick on you?It was hilarious when you came back soaking wet and blushing madly!"I chuckled.

Kagome laughed too. "Remember when Miroku mistook your back for me and groped you?That was SO funny!"She broke into another fit of laughter.

She laughed harder when I blushed. "Boy, I sure wasn't happy about that. Miroku ended up unconscious for a week."I said forcefully.

We finally reached the big Oakwood doors of the Study.I opened it and bowed,a sign for her to continue.She walked in and I closed the door behind her.When I looked back at her, her face had a blush licking at her cheeks.

I laughed silently.We walked through rows of books.Some were as old as my great-great-great-great grandfather who would be 60,000 in two months.

We finally came to an open area that had two leather chairs,a couch made out of feathers,and six chairs that had soft cushions.In the corner was mine and Kagome's chair.

My chair was made out of pure gold that had a wolf head carved into the top.It was extremely comfortable despite it's look.

Kagome's chair was like mine except hers was silver and where her wolf design was,the was also an Inu head designed next to it.

We saw my father sitting at a large Rosewood circular table.He was reading the latest news.I could tell because of how the scroll looked.

We walked up to him and greeted him softly as to not frighten him.Kagome told her news and showed him the necklace.My father looked at it closely then closed his eyes. "how long has it been since your mother gave you this?"He asked regally.

My father had the same black hair as I did except it had silver streaks and his tail was pure white,a sign that he was an arctic wolf.Basically everyone thought we looked the same except the difference in hair color and he had Blue-Grey eyes instead of my bright light blue ones.

"Since this morning Ryo-otusan."Kagome said truthfully.She called him father because he and her okaasan were the only two people who knew of her father's affairs.He basically treated her like his own pup and in return she treated him like a father.

My otusan opened his eyes and looked into Kagome's Crystal-Blue ones. "You may stay here for as long as you like my little pup."He said with a smiled on his face.She smiled her genuine smile while I grinned like an idiot. "Arigatou otusan."She said happily.

We turned around and headed to the garden to play before lunch.On the way there Sango and Miroku joined us.Sango was six and Miroku was seven.

Sango was a wolf youkai.She had yellow-brown eyes,pink eye shadow,blackish-silver hair that went to her waist,and had a black tail like me.Miroku was like me too except his hair stopped at his neck and was tied up in a ponytail.

Sango was wearing a yellow kimono with a lighter yellow obi.Miroku was wearing a red kimono with a dark blue obi.I myself changed my clothes after returning home.It was a purple kimono with a royal blue obi.

We decided not to go to the gardens since it was a little hotter than normal outside.We went to my room instead.

My room has the colors of the sunset,for my futon and rug was orange-red.The walls were a bright orange that had cloud designs on them.It always made me fell like I was flying.

Kagome's room was exactly the same except everything was green.She had tree designs and water designs where I had clouds.

After awhile we went back to our own rooms.Well…they did since I was in my room already.We all had peaceful dreams and I think I heard Shiezu sneak into Kagome's room.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*Kag's POV*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Me and Sango were strolling in the Northern/Western Land border.We suddenly heard a crash and the Earth shook after the crash.

We ran to see what it was.I was so glad I left Shiezu to protect Souta since he had his studies.We never went back home after what happened 9 years ago.Now I'm fifteen.

We had finally come to a clearing where I saw an Inu-hanyou trying to battle who I recognized as Sesshoumaru, Lord of the Western Lands.His dad died three years ago.

It was a sad day for the respectful people.

He was wearing his pristine white kimono and obi.He always wore that whenever he was patrolling.

The hanyou had a sword in his hand that I recognized as Tetsusaiga.That obviously must be Inuyasha with his Fire Rat haori.Now let's not forget the dog ears.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*Sesshou's POV*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

It seems we have guests.I spared the intruders a glance to see two females.One full wolf youkai and the other was half wolf half Inu.

I recognized the markings on the mixed breed….SHE is the HEIR of the CENTRAL LANDS?!

She is wearing a Royal Blue kimono with a dark green obi.

Everyone is searching for her and SHE'S in the NORTHERN LANDS!?That's SO Kagome's.I remember her from when I had a meeting with her when I was younger.

It seems her powers have increased 1000-fold.

This could prove to be very interesting indeed.
