InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Damnable DDR ❯ Chapter 1

This was written for Tatiofan's contest, this is my first Kouga/InuYasha fic, I know it's stupid and I know it's overly filled with fluffy and comedy, but, hey, it works people! Also, I know that DDR wouldn't work in the past because there's no electricty, but, this is FAN FICTION if you want realism go to a library! Also, I stated that a they're using a generator, so, loop hole!

Warnings: Yaoi, humor, OOCness and plain wierd.

InuYasha stared in a mix of fear, horror and humor at Kagome, as she emphatically explained her so-called 'game' that was played on a contraption known as a TV, she smiled brightly, "so, all you do is stand here on the mat, then when you see the arrows, you step on the corresponding pad, here, I'll show you." She crouched down, flicking the TV thing on and the gang that had formed watched as she used another device to choose things on the screen, she faced the screen, then looked at the group once more, "watch and you'll see." It began and InuYasha mused, it seemed simple enough, step the pads at a certain time and get things that Kagome had called points, the more you get, the more you play, the more you win, and he wanted to win. She stopped after a few minutes, "got it?" She recieved a round of nods and Kagome grinned, "great, Sango, wanna try?"

"Alright, why not." The slayer stepped forwards, onto the mat and waited until the game started, she moved quickly, her slayer reflexes allowing her limbs to move swiftly and in the different directions, she was doing well InuYasha supposed as the music sped up and Sango moved faster. After a few more minutes Sango stopped, "interesting, it's fun, what's it called again?" Kagome smiled from her spot on the grass,

"Dance Dance Reveloution, hey, InuYasha why don't you give it a try, you should do well because of your Hanyou reflexes." He rolled his eyes, standing from the rock he'd been perched upon and was suddenly glad his lover wasn't there to see this, he could just picture the laughter on Kouga's face as he played. He stood on the mat and looked at Kagome, she stood, "here, pull back your hair, it'll get in your face." He declined the hair band, saying he didn't need it, then began to move as the game began, his eyes studied the screen and he was glad his back was to the group so they couldn't see the redness in his cheeks, this game was stupid, it made him feel like a fool, yet, at the same time, it was exciting, new and fun, he was just glad Kouga wasn't there.

Kouga moved swiftly through the trees, following his mate and lover's scent, he heard laughter and as he approached his destination was able to distinugish that it belonged to Kagome and Sango, the two females of InuYasha's smaller pack. He didn't know why they were laughing, but as he leapt from the trees, he too felt a smile appear on his face and barely contained his own laughter, the sight that greeted him was one of a true rarity and it was too funny. InuYasha was moving quickly, almost angrily in front of a device Kouga was sure came from Kagome's time, but the thing that was truly amusing was the way InuYasha looked, true his upper body remained almost stationary, his lower body was in a flurry of movement as he rushed to keep up to the tempo. Kagome was sprawled on the ground clutching her sides in pain as she laughed so hard tears rolled down her face, Sango was beside her in a similar predicament. Kouga stopped moving, just watched bemused, with a small smirk on his face, finally InuYasha stopped moving, all but collapsing to the ground, Kouga stepped forwards a few steps, "I leave for a few days and look what happens, utter chaos." InuYasha's head turned weakly and he glared at the wolf, his chest rising and falling in a quick rythmn as he caught his breath,

"I'd like to see you try this, it's hard!" Kouga sat by InuYasha's felled form,

"no thanks, I don't engage in activites meant for children." InuYasha shoved him back and Kouga laughed as he pulled himself into a seated position once more, "but it is quite humourous watching you."

"Shut up." Kagome stood slowly, still holding her sides,

"oh Kami that was funny, I wish I had my camera, woulda been one for the archives, are you okay?" InuYasha shook his head weakly,

"my lower body is entirely numb, is that normal?" She nodded slightly,

"yep, it's the curse of DDR, fun, embarrassing and addictive, yet, you pay the price with muscle numbing, can you stand?" InuYasha sat up, then with the help of both Kouga and Kagome, stood, leaning heavily on Kouga, he attempted a step forwards, but yelped, falling down and tugged Kouga with him. The two lay sprawled on the ground, InuYasha laying splayed atop Kouga, he turned his head, facing Kagome,

"that game's not so bad after all, I'm comfortable now." Kouga chuckled softly, InuYasha hugged Kouga closer,

"on top where I should be."

"What!?!" InuYasha laughed as he was pinned to the ground, Kouga above him, face deadly serious, "you belong on the bottom, like a good little Uke."

"Oh yeah, I'll show you Uke!" The two rolled on the ground, growling and wrestling, Kagome shook her head sadly, but wore a smile,

"how they ended up together, I'll never know."

InuYasha cracked an eye open at some noise, he lifted his head, his hand searching for Kouga, he yawned, then lay back down, figuring Kouga went for a walk or the bathroom. He shut his eyes once more, but they snapped open at a loud noise, it sounded like movement and it was close by, he grasped the hilt of the sword and sat up slowly. Everyone was sound asleep, a small pop and a spark came from the dying fire and he noticed a moving shadow, he moved towards it swift, pulling out his sword to strike, but froze mid way through, a smirk spreading over his lips. He leaned against a tree, crossing his arms as he raised a brow in amusement, "only for children huh?" Instantly Kouga froze, the music still wafting softly into the night air, the glow from the TV illuminating the area around them,

"I can explain."

"Mmm-hmmm, I'm sure you can, you're drunk maybe, or, hit your head." Kouga shook his head,

"I wanted to see what possessed you to play, Kagome's right, embarrassing yet fun." InuYasha nodded, turning off the TV like he'd been shown, then wrapping his arms about Kouga's neck, his lips mere inches away from Kouga's, he even allowed them to touch,

"I love you, you stupid wolf." Kouga smiled,

"I love you too, mutt-face." They shared a soft kiss and parted after a moment, InuYasha smiled,

"you know, there is a two-player option."

There you have it, a strange, stupid, yet funny InuYasha fic about DDR, don't ask where the idea came from, but, I was playing my home version of it, okay, I wish, I was at the local arcade, when I suddenly pictured Inu dancing, that's where it came from! Hope you liked it.
