Chapter 2: Dancing With Strangers

~FLASHBACK~

Earlier that day before the brotherly monthly fight, Sesshoumaru was patrolling his land when the stench of Naraku was coming. Knowing that it was one of Naraku minions he unsheathed his Tokjin. Kagura came into sight holding two shards of the Shikon No Tama.

"Here. Use them to defeat Naraku. I'm not sure where he is hiding, he moves everyday." Kagura stated and sped off without another word not expecting an answer.

Sesshoumaru was angrier letting that wrench think he need the shards, but had no choice so he kept them. He stuff them in he's white haori.

"Rin, Jaken. Let's go." He said.

"Hai, Sesshoumaru-sama!" Rin shouted

~ END OF FLASHBACK~

Sesshoumaru was flying thinking of that wrench's dance he snapped out of his thought when he smelt magic in an old well laced with Kagome's scent. Curiosity got the best of him so he jumped in the well transporting him 500 years into the future.

Meanwhile…

"Kagome! You're back!" Ms Higurashi yelled.

"Yah! I'm leaving for school, bye!" Kagome yelled back running out the door.

Kagome jogged to school trying to shake the feel something terrible is going to happen. She finally reached the school and went to class. In the second class Kagome heard yelling then a student burst through the door yelling to look outside.

Outside stood Sesshoumaru holding a boy the neck tight tightly while a circle of police started to form trying to push the people back not knowing what this thing is and what it can do. Kagome panic and used her sealing spell to change her hair to light navy blue reaching to her lower part of her back. She added three inches on to her height and changed to her combat suit that Sango given her. It was like Sango's suit; expect it was the same blue as her hair pads. She retrieved her daggers and sheathes them in their shafts in her selves. Her bow and arrows were on her back and she ran outside to meet a raging Sesshoumaru.

"SESSHOUMARU!" She yelled through the crowd trying to reach the middle.

Sesshoumaru ears twitched by hearing his name, he looked through the crowds of frighten humans finding no one who is worthy his an attention.

Kagome finally reached the circle of police, she tried to break through but the police was warning her

"SESSHOUMARU!" She yelled again. Kagome took one of her arrows and shoot it at him aiming for his head. Sesshoumaru moved his head gracefully only to have a cut on his temple.

"Who are you? Where am I? How do you know me?" Sesshoumaru growled.

"That's for me to know and you to find out, Sesshoumaru. Now shall we dance?" She said as the students surrounded them in a dead silence.

Sesshoumaru crack the boy's neck killing him and flung his dead, cold body aside. He watched her readied in her battle position. He unsheathed Tokjin.

"Now, Sesshoumaru that is not honorable fight me with your claws." She stated with a pout.

Sesshoumaru sheathe his sword and readied his claws. He made the first move run straight at her with the claws dripping of acid and poison. She ducked and cutting his stomach with her daggers and tripped him. With that she back flipped creating more space between them.

"I win round one." She said with a triumphant smile.

"This is not over two more to go, I must say you're fast but not fast enough." He said while appearing behind her and making a large cut down her back stopping at her ass.

"I win round two." Sesshoumaru stated with a smirk.

Kagome concentrated to stop the bleeding. "It's not over, until the fat lady sings." She growled.

She made the first move running towards him. He moved to the left with his inhuman speed. Predicting this she kick to he left hitting him in the back of the knees. Sesshoumaru quickly recovered by jumping in front of Kagome and latched at her throat.

Kagome was dangling in the air with a hand at her throat. "You need me to get you back, you can't kill me." She said breathlessly.

"True, but I can torture and kill you only to be brought back to life and do it again until you beg for mercy." He stated coldly smirking at her sending a shiver down her spine.

"Give me the shards in you haori, revive the boy and I shall take you back." She spat back.

"You must give me my arm back." He said staring at her unique blue and tiny bit of purple eyes. He had seen those eyes before and her scent seems so familiar.

"Fine put me down" She demanded.

He dropped her letting her to land on her ass. She muttered how much of jerk he is, knowing he was listening.

"You have to take off half of you hoari." She stated simply.

Sesshoumaru slide half his hoari off of his shoulder revealing his chiseled, muscular chest.

"Oh my." She whispered as she creates a ball of miko energy. She placed the pink ball at the shoulder and concentrated. After seconds she formed a pink sparkling arm turning into flesh.

"You did a good job, wrench." Sesshoumaru said while testing his new arm. He unsheathed the Tensiga and slashed at the dead boy to revive him.

"Now we shall go." Sesshoumaru said picking up the girl who he knew so little about yet knew he crave her. He wanted more from her.

Sesshoumaru suddenly woke up with sweat coving his sheets.

"Stop haunting my dreams." He whispered to himself.
