Chapter 6: The Taste of Hell and Heaven

Day 1

Next morning Sesshoumaru was patiently waiting for his tardy guest to arrive for breakfast. Ok maybe not patiently more like the opposite, he was ready to drag her down to the dinning hall not caring what she was wearing or what she thinks.

He just stood up when the double doors open and walked in a beautiful teenage girl.

"Good morning, Sesshoumaru. Sorry to keep you waiting, I woke up late." Kagome said with a smile.

All of his anger seemed to disappear as the radiant smile played on her pale features.

"I have not been waiting long. Shall we eat?" He said while motioning her to sit across from him.

The dinning hall was simple but very elegant. The wooden brown table stood in the center of the room with twenty regal chairs on every side. The table was ready with two sets of silverware waiting in the middle on each side of the table in front of two unique chairs.

Kagome swiftly walked to her seat across of Sesshoumaru. Mouthwatering good came and was placed in front of them. Kagome thanked her surprised servant and started to eat. As they ate in comfortable silence she was plotting how to get back at the Taiyoukai for what he had done to her last night.

"We shall meet Rin now." Sesshoumaru said as he finished they finished their breakfast.

`Rin? Who was Rin?' Kagome thought feeling a little jealous.

*BANG* The doors slammed opened and there was a running girl who was chased by Jaken.

"Come back here!" Jaken yelled.

"You're supposed to catch me! OOoo… pretty lady." She yelled as the six year old ran to hugged Kagome legs.

"Ohayo Sesshoumaru-sama! Who's the pretty lady? Hi! My name is Rin! How old are you? How long are you staying? OOO I get it you Sesshoumaru-sama's new friend! I have another friend!" Rin babbled on as she stared at Kagome.

"Rin. Stop." Sesshoumaru said with his stoic face on.

"HAI!" She yelled as she let go of Kagome's legs and stood straight in front of her.

"Hello Rin. My name is Kagome. I'm sixteen years old and I'm staying for a week. We will have a lot of fun together. OK?" Kagome said with a cheerful smile as she hugged the adorable little girl.

"HAI!" Rin sqealed as she ran back to the garden dragging Kagome with her.

Sesshoumaru was amazed of how she acted around children. `She would be a perfect mother.' Thought Sesshoumaru as he walked to the direction the girls ran.

The girls and Jaken (not willingly) played tagged. An inu youkai sat underneath a tree watching Kagome run.

Then he noticed her shirt which read "Poke Me and Die" with a white thing on it holding up its middle finger up for some odd reason (Pillsbury dough boy… I wonder what the finger means^^). Then an idea popped into his head which forced him to smirk.

"Jaken take Rin inside and have lunch while I speak to Kagome." Sesshoumaru demanded as he stood up.

When they were gone Sesshoumaru started to walk towards her.

"Poke me and die eh?"

Kagome looked down at her shirt while Sesshoumaru appeared behind her and attacked her ribs with tickles.

Kagome fell to the floor as her knees couldn't hold her up anymore. The Taiyoukai landed on top of her with their faces very VERY close to each other.

Sesshoumaru leaned in closer to kiss her. But surprisingly Kagome lifted her head up and passed his lips to his ears.

She licked the edge of his ear which made Sesshoumaru moan in delight. Then he heard her whispered.

"Revenge." As she pushed him off of her she ran straight for her room slamming the door shut leaving a clueless Sesshoumaru behind to stare at her retreating form.

Kagome stayed in her room all day sleeping or listening to her walkman or studying.

Night came and everyone seemed to be asleep so Kagome wanted to eat something. She opened her door and saw a guard standing at the side of the door.

"Uhh…hi." Kagome said shyly as she inspected the personal guard.

"What may I do for you, Lady Kagome?" The guard said as he stood tall and proud. He was wearing a simple white haori with a symbol that she had saw on each solider she passed expect this one had more detail on it. His amour was made from metal which was given to higher ranking soldiers. He wore a black hakama with a sword at his side.

Kagome looked at him more closely. Inuyasha was handsome and Sesshoumaru was beautiful, but he was in between. He had innocent big orange eyes like a child with a small mouth with a mix of red and orange lips. He's hair was short and dark orange matching his tanned skin He looked like so much like Hojo yet he was so much more different in many ways. It was hard to describe him

"I'm kinda of hungry so can you lead me to the kitchen, please?"

"Of course, Lady."

They stared to walk in silence until Kagome started to talk.

"What's you name?" She inquired.

"Sousuke, Sagara" He stated.

"What kind of youkai are you?"

"Phoenix youkai, my Lady"

"Cool! What rank are you?"

The guard did a quick curious glance at Kagome because of her talkative nature and strange word.

"I am Lord Sesshoumaru's personal guard. He had redirected me to you." He said as they reached the kitchen.

"I will wake the chef. What will you like?" Sagara said.

"No. It's Ok I'll just get an apple or something."

There it is again. Strange words like "apple" what's that. (Japan didn't have apples back then…I think)

When Kagome was done eating she was lead back to her room in silence.

"Actually, can we spar? I need to practice." Kagome asked standing at the door of her room.

"Of course, my lady." Sagara was so surprised. Who is she? She is so different. Can she spar?

"Great! Let me just get ready."

They decide it would better to spar outside. So they got into stanza. Kagome was wearing black loose sweat pants that reach just below her ankle and a tight tank top with white ankle socks and no shoes.

"Don't go easy on me." Kagome said.

"Or course, my lady." He said as they began.

He did the first move. He ran towards her then at the last second he dropped and tried to trip her. Kagome jumped behind him and held the dagger at his throat.

"Just Kagome." She said still holding the position.

"Eh?"

"Call me Kagome. Not lady or Lady Kagome. Just Kagome."

"Alright."

They jumped back at starting position to start round 2.

"That was too easy Sagara. You're holding out on me."

"I am just surprised at your skills, Ka...go...me."

This went on for an hour and half of hand to hand combat but, the sun was due to come up soon.

"Maybe you should go back inside, Kagome."

"You're right. I need a little bit of rest, I guess you won." Kagome said cheerfully.

"A very close match, Kagome."

They walked back to the room.

"I had a lot of fun. We should do it again." Kagome said.

"Perhaps"

"Good night, Sagara-kun"

"Good night, Kagome."

Day 2

Sagara walked into Kagome's room after being order to wake her up. He looked over to were the bed was and there was Kagome lying with the most peaceful face on. The sunlight shined on her face accenting her feature and her beauty. He walked towards the angel and watched her sleep. Then there he found out. He, Sagara, was falling in love with her. He was so deep in thought he didn't notice Kagome woke up.

"Sagara-kun?"

Sagara was startled by her and started to blush he looked like a deer who was caught in front of headlights of a car.

"Good morning!" Kagome yawned out.

"Good morning, it is time to bathe and eat." Sagara answered.

"Alright." Kagome jumped out of the bed and looked at Sagara blushing even more. Then she looked down and she was wearing…nothing! jks she was wearing very short shorts and a tank top that showed her stomach.

"Uhh…I will be waiting for you outside." Sagara stuttered.

Kagome took her bath and went to the dinning room after getting dressed. There she saw Sesshoumaru just walked in.

"Good morning, Kagome."

"Good morning, Sessy."

Sesshoumaru quirked an eyebrow at the new nickname.

"What don't you like you new name, it's so in." Kagome said teasingly.

"It's so in?" Sesshoumaru inquired.

"Never mind, let's eat!"

The meal started with minimum conservation.

"Kagome?" He said checking if she was paying attention.

"Sup?"

"Huh?…Never mind that. I will be leaving to take care of business in the South. I will return in two days."

"Aww…Do you have to?" Kagome whined playfully

Sesshoumaru chuckled at her act. "Yes, it is necessary. I will be taking my leave after breakfast."

"OK! Just don't keep me waiting long."

"I won't."

After Kagome was done saying goodbye she wanted to practice sparring more after all it was five more days left until the thing.

A/N: I know the preview is the same as before but I had to split this chapter in 2 `cause I have six tests this week and two assignment due. I was planning to make this really long but I can't sorry.
