Alright, alright .. the long awaited chapter two. But, I’m warning you now .. if you didn’t hate me for the cliffy at the end of the first chapter, you’re reallllly going to hate me for this one. Heh. -smirks- You know you love it. Okay.. well maybe you don’t, but what the hay. I’m the writer, here. *giggles* I’m just kidding with you guys.

“How long have you been there?” Kagome demanded, her face reddening. A smirk played across InuYasha’s lips, “A while,” he said, shrugging. She opened her mouth and began stuttering out explanations, but she soon fell silent as she saw what he was doing.

He brought his fingers up and pulled on the tie that held his haori closed and then shrugged it off of his shoulders. Next, he went for his white undershirt. It received the same fate, falling to the ground. InuYasha kicked the clothes out of the way and waded out into the spring.

Kagome’s eyes were round again as she watched him coming closer to her. She was frozen in the spot, torn between running as fast as she could back to camp and staying where she was to see what he was going to do. She chose the latter. He stopped when he was directly in front of her, his eyes washing over her exposed skin, drinking in the site of her.

InuYasha shivered, his skin prickling in anticipation. Anticipation for what, exactly? He didn’t know. He’d been sure that Kagome was going to osuwari him unconscious when he stepped from behind his rock, but she’d just looked at him. The closer and closer he got to her, the more he became dizzy and light-headed. The light from the moon danced its way across her skin, lighting up her features. He was becoming drunk just from the sight of her. His confidence was trickling away, just as if he’d cupped the water from the spring in his hands.

Kagome‘s confidence, on the other hand, was building. Her body was heating back up, due to the close proximity of InuYasha’s body. He was within in touching distance. She slowly brought her arms down from her chest and let them hang at her sides, exposing her breasts to the hanyou before her. His breathing hitched.

Kagome stood from her crouching place in the water and waded toward InuYasha. Before he or her brain could protest, she placed her hands on his shoulders and pulled him forward, capturing his lips in a fiery kiss. Kagome’s arms wove around InuYasha’s neck and she pulled him closer. He shivered and a low growl rumbled in his chest. His arms snaked around Kagome’s waist and his back found the rock she’d been leaning on only moments before. Their kiss deepened, tongues dancing and caressing, and their hands roamed.

Tentatively, Inuyasha’s hands moved upward from their resting place on Kagome’s hips, sliding them across her stomach and up to cup her breasts, and his thumbs flicked over her hardened nipples. She moaned. Heat pooled in her abdomen. It was almost too much for her to take.

Finally, the need for air drove the couple apart. Kagome opened her eyes and was met with a deep amber gaze that held so much emotion, she wasn’t sure exactly what it all meant. InuYasha’s eyes were glazed with hunger and lust, but there were also questions there. She raised her hand and cupped his face, rubbing a finger along his cheek, and then did something that wiped all the fear, doubt, and uncertainty out of InuYasha’s eyes, like it had never been there at all.

She smiled.

He leaned forward and placed a sweet kiss on the side of her mouth and then wrapped his arms around her, sighing. “You do not know how long I’ve waited to do that.” Kagome’s smile widened and she reciprocated the hug, “You don’t know how long I’ve wanted you to do that.”

It was true. Three long years she’d waited for this moment. For him to kiss her, touch her, hold her like he was now. She knew from the first time she’d seen him pinned to that tree. Something had appealed to her from the beginning, but she didn’t know what it was. Sure, he was handsome. She loved his looks, his soft, silvery hair, his strong muscles that protected her from so many demons, and of course, the appendages she loved the most .. his ears. Two little furry, white triangles that sat on top of his head. She remembered rubbing them for the first time, while he was still pinned to that tree. They were too cute not to rub. But, his looks, while very .. appealing .. were not what made her fall in love with him. Though it was rare, she loved his smile. She also loved how he opened up to her. Only recently had he started opening up to her more often. Though, the one thing she’d longed to hear the most, was not brought up in their conversation. The future. Their future.

Kagome was brought back to reality as she felt kisses being fluttered across her jaw line and down her slender neck. She shivered when he pressed a kiss to her collarbone, his lips lingering there for a moment before nipping slightly with his fangs and then soothing it with his tongue. His fingers brushed lightly down her sides, tickling her ever-so-lightly, and she giggled. The sound of her laugh brought InuYasha’s gaze back to hers, and they stayed that way for a second or two, before he leaned forward and claimed her lips again in another passionate kiss.

Kagome’s legs wound themselves around InuYasha’s waist and she placed her arms around his neck. Placing a leg under her, he lifted her up slightly and broke the kiss they were sharing to gaze at her body hungrily. A quiet, almost inaudible growl escaped him as he placed kisses in the valley between her breasts, then shifting over to lavish the mound of flesh to his right. He brought his left hand from her back around to knead the neglected breast. As soon as she felt his mouth surround her hardened nipple, she moaned and arched her back, pressing more of her body into his mouth. After he was satisfied that her right breast had received enough attention, he switched to the left, eliciting more breathy pants and broken versions of his name from her.

Becoming restless, Kagome wiggled her hips slightly, trying to get more comfortable. As she did this, she rolled her lower body into InuYasha’s. He pulled his mouth away form her and threw his head back. His eyes rolled back and a growl escaped him. “Don’t ..” he said, slowly, “do that.” Smirking, Kagome trailed her fingers lightly over his chest, bring them down to the tie on his hakama. She hesitated for a moment, thinking what this would mean. She would belong to him. She would be his forever and there would be no other men, no one else. Kagome snorted in silent laughter. Like she would want anyone else. This would also mean she would stay here, 500 years in the past. She wouldn’t see her family or her friends anymore.

Making up her mind quickly, Kagome pulled the tie. She’d never been more sure of anything in her whole entire life. She would die for the man that was holding her in his arms. She would kill for him. Again, she thought, nodding to herself. She wanted to become his life, his mate, his Kagome. Forever.

“Wha-..” He started. Kagome cut off his questions by placing a finger against his lips. He shut up immediately.

“I want you,” she said, placing a kiss to his temple, “to make me,” a kiss to the corner of his mouth, “your mate.” She finished by pressing a quick little kiss on the end of his nose. She pulled back to look into his eyes, afraid of what would be there. Would he reject her? When their gazes locked, though, deep down in their amber depths, she did not see rejection (much to her relief) .. but exactly the opposite.

Acceptance.

Amid the acceptance, his eyes were sprinkled with relief and shock. A genuine smile broke out on his face.

“Finally.”

Like I said, as the chapters progress .. they usually become suckier. So, I hope this one was as good as the last one. I wasn’t nearly as descriptive as I should have been in this one, but you were all getting restless, so I decided to write fast. I hope that the quality of my writing is still good.
