Chapter 1: The Telling of the Dance

“Great, Inuyasha is going to have a fit, I’m late...again..”

Kagome was in her room , packing and getting ready to go to
the Feudal Era. After running to the kitchen, to get cups of ramen.
Kagome ran to the well and jumped in.

“Where in Hell is that wench?!”

“SIT!”

Inuyasha hit the ground, having a mouth full of dirt.

“How many times do I have to tell you, my name is NOT wench, it’s Kagome, KA-GO-ME!!!”

“Well, if you get your ass here early, I wouldn’t call you a wench, now would I?”

“Oh, please Inuyasha, you call me a wench, even if I don’t do anything wrong!”

“Well...HEY I’M TALKING HERE!!!”


Kagome started to walk away to the Kaede’s hut. She couldn’t wait to see her friends, Sango, Miroku, Shippou, Kirara, and old Kaede; but also to quit hearing Inuyasha stupidity.
Reaching to Kaede’s hut, Kagome sees a fluffy tail flying towards her.

“Kagome, I missed you!!!

“Well... I missed you too, Shippou.”

“ Kagome, it’s good to see you aging.” Sango, coming towards Kagome hugging her.

“You too, Sango!; Hey, where’s Miroku?”

“Here I am, it’s nice to see you, Lady Kagome.” Miroku walked towards Sango and Kagome.

BANG! WHACK!

“DAMN YOU, MIROKU! WHY MUST YOU ACT LIKE A ASSHOLE! STOP GROPING ME!”

Miroku’s on the ground with 2 huge lumps given by Sango.

“I guess things haven’t change since I left 4 days ago?”

“Nope” said Shippou. “Kagome, I’m hungry.”

“Oh, ok, I’m make some thing to eat.”

After eating, everyone was getting alittle tried, and all went to bed, instead of Inuyasha, he always stayed awake watching over the group in his tree.

“Great, I can’t sleep.” Kagome whispered. “I’ll go for a walk.”

Inuyasha was about to let himself go to sleep, when he caught Kagome’s scent.
Kagome didn’t realized that Inuyasha was watching her from the tree.

“Hey, what are you doing up, and where are you going?”

“Uh?, oh, Inuyasha, I didn’t know you were up. I couldn’t sleep, so I decided to walk around.”

“You know better to walk around at night, you might get attack by a demon.” Inuyasha said coming down from the tree.

“Do you really care what happens to me?” Kagome questioned.

“NO!, I just need you to find the jewel shards!”

“Oh.” Kagome said sadly. “I should’ve known.”

Kagome walked until she found a river. Inuyasha followed her. Kagome sat on a rock, while she looked at the moon. Inuyasha was watching from the tree.

“I can’t wait.” she whispered.

“Can’t wait for what?” Inuyasha sat next to her.

“Oh...nothing.”

“Come on Kagome, what is it? What is it that you can’t wait for?”

“Oh...it’s nothing, but if you must know; my friend, Eri, she is having a dance party for her 17th birthday, and I have to have a dance partner, you know, a date.”

“Did you ask anyone...yet?”

“No... but Hojo asked me if I would go with him.”

“And?”

“And what?”

“Are you going with him... to the dance?”

“I might...if I don’t have anyone else to go with.”

“WHAT?...You are going with that Hobo guy?
Are you CRAZY?”

“What? I can’t go with him?”

“No...you can’t!”

“And why not?”

“Because...”

“Because what, Inuyasha?”

“Nothing...”

“What, are you jealous?”

“NO... it’s just that...”

“Yeah right...”

“But...but...”

“But, I won’t go.”

“Why???”

“ Because I would like to go with someone that I really love.....to the dance.”

“And who is that someone?”

“Oh... you’ll see!”
