Dancing To Love

Chapter 4: Said, But Not Heard

Inuyasha couldn't sleep, he couldn't wait for the dance and have Kagome in his arms. He looked down, and see Kagome asleep. He smiled at the thought of being near her. He never admit but Kagome was his savior. If it wasn't for Kagome, he wouldn't have the chance to live again, to make friends, and to love again. Inuyasha kept watching Kagome from the tree, and he saw her speak, but couldn't hear well, so he jumped down and move closer to hear what she was saying.
Kagome smiled and again she said something and this time Inuyasha hear her:

"I wish I could kiss you. You have no idea how much I love you."

'She loves me?...SHE LOVES ME!'

'That's nothing new, you hear her say that before, when she was talking to Sango. She would only take the person she loves to the dance.'\

'I can't believe it! Kagome loves me!'

"Kagome, I love you too." Inuyasha wishpered.

Inuyasha moved closer to Kagome only inches away, and kissed her lightly.
Inuyasha jumped back up the tree, and finally felt to sleep, thinking, and dreaming only of his love, Kagome.

The morning sun broke the darkness, and Kagome was starting to get up.

'What a beautiful morning!' *yawn* 'Today, me and Inuyasha are going to buy clothes. I'll buy him something that will suit him perfectly, and I'll buy that green dress I saw before I came back, Inuyasha's eyes will pop out of his sockets!'

Kagome started making breakfast which woke Inuyasha right away.

"Hey."

"Hey, you're up early."

"I'm hungery, what are you making?"

"The usual, ramen."

Inuyasha's mouth went watery. He could smell the aroma of the ramen, and he couldn't wait to eat it.

"Inuyasha, can you get me some more water, I'm running out."

"But, I'm..."

"I know you're hungery, but by the time you come back the ramen will be done, ok?"

"Ok." Inuyasha said sadly.

At that time Sango got up and saw Kagome and Inuyasha talking then Inuyasha walking away with a sad expression on his face.

"Good morning, Kagome, I hope everything went well last night."

"Everything went fine, he said yes."

Kagome was going to tell her that she didn't even get the chance to complete her sentence, because he already knew what she wanted to ask, because he was peeking at them at the hot spring, but she thought again, she didn't want Inuyasha running away from a angey Sango. She knew how bad she beat Miroku for peeking. Anyways, she sat Inuyasha already, he didn't need a another beating.

"Oh, I'm so happy for you Kagome. I know you'll have fun."

"Yeah...oh! Today I'll be leaving, because I need to buy some clothes for Inuyasha and for myself."

"What are you going to wear?"

"I saw a green dress, before I came back, I think Inuyasha would die when he sees me in it!"

"See you in what, Kagome?"

"Oh...nothing."

"WHAT?"

"I mean, it's nothing, not me naked!"

"Oh?...ok?...here's the water. Is the food ready??? I'm hungery."

'Men! all they think is food!'

"Inuyasha eat quickly, we...have...to...get..."

Inuyasha was eating so fast, he choke on himself.

"Inuyasha, are you ok?" Kagome was patting his back.

"*cough* I'm fine *cough* It's nothing I can't handle. *cough* *cough*"

'He always has to act the tough guy.'

"Now that you are done eating, choking and acting tough, we can go and but the clothes I was talking about. Ok?"

"Feh!"

"Sango, tell Miroku, Shippou, and Kirara bye for me...and Inuyasha, ok?

"Feh."

"Ok! Have fun you two!" 'I know they will..."

"Come, on my back, we'll get there faster."

Kagome jumped on Inuyasha's back, and they headed for the well. Once getting to the well, she was about to jump in but she turn to face Inuyasha, and hugged him.

"Thank you, Inuyasha, you don't know how much this means to me."

"I know... let's go!"

Kagome and Inuyasha jumped into the well, and were surrounded by pink purple lights heading to Kagome's era.
